I had an update pushed to my device yesterday and it went through without any issues. So, naturally, went to see if there s any new features and when I open LED Icon Editor, it says I need to do an update there, too, but each time I try, it fails.
Any suggestions?

If anyone is able to help me, I would greatly appreciate it.
I installed Google Wallet (via this APK) when I first got my Verizon LTE GN a few weeks back. I've since used the app daily and it has worked perfectly, up until this evening.
Today, for the first time ever, I decided to unlock my bootloader in order to root my device--all of which went smoothly. I then re-downloaded the above GW APK (since unlocking wiped my device) but now when I launch the application, the screen stays at "Initializing your device - This may take a few minutes depending on your network connection." The application doesn't freeze (the circle continues to spin), but after 30 minutes of waiting, still, nothing has happened. I've tried reinstalling the APK but that does nothing. I have 4G connectivity and have tried over WiFi also.
I am running stock recovery, stock ROM, stock everything on 4.0.2. All I did was unlock the bootloader & root the device. I've done quite a bit of searching but have been unable to find a solution. Does anyone know what may be causing the issue or what I could do to fix it? I really enjoy using the application
I'm having a pretty similar problem.
CDMA Galaxy Nexus.
When I first got the phone, I downloaded the Google Wallet apk and it worked fine. Used it a few times out in the real world.
Today, used the wug unlock/root method, and installed a custom rom.
Though the rom feature log said it contained Google Wallet, it did not.
I redownloaded the original APK that I had used and it installed, but now I get this "Unfortunately wallet has stopped" message every time.
In fact, it comes up on the screen at random intrevals.
Not sure if there's anything I can do.
Do you guys have NFC enabled from the settings menu?
Also, did you try disabling and re-enabling NFC? It's different hardware, but after flashing one ROM I had to disable/re-enable GPS before it would work... worth a shot.
Attempted to root my Gpad 8.3 early this morning. Was not successful. Downloaded Stumproot and ran it. It fired up, hit "grind", the music played, it said it didn't directly support my device but could try "Brute Force", OK, it started climbing through its BF options. About 4 minutes in, it says reboot to root. Rebooted, came up to the lock screen, it rebooted again on its own, came up to the lock screen, unlocked the screen, hit the Play Store icon to get SuperSU and that's where the trouble started. The window opened up but all I had was the top banner and the left side pop out options (My profile and things..) the main portion of the screen was essentially blank with a "server error" message "Try again". Try as I might, it would not work. So backed out and went in through Chrome on the tablet and had the play store up in Chrome. Got to SuperSU, hit install, there was a brief flash in the notification bar at the top of the tablet, then the triangle error icon. It could not download. Tried going straight to the Chainfire site and getting it there. Either the same error there or I would some times get no icon at the top but the downloads would list the file as "in progress" at 0kb forever! EDIT. I also tried from my desktop with the same results on the tablet.
Currently using the LG MST to hopefully get it back to stock.
Would be interested in your thoughts......
Mods, you can delete this entire thread. My bad. New tablet and phone and in getting everything the way I wanted it, I overlooked some things. ADBLOCKER was the problem. The changes required to the WiFi proxy screwed things up. NOT Stump root.
Figured that out, went right back in and got rid of ADBLOCKER, ran Stumproot again, installed SU and we are rooted.
What model is ur gpad

This is just documenting a question and solution to a problem that took me a long time and a lot of searching to find. My two sons are earch running a Samsung Galaxy S3 with rooted stock ROMs pretty much since the phones were purchased. Out of the blue and just with this latest NJ2 update, one of their phones never received the OTA and would instead get the following error message: "Unfortunately the process com.samsung.syncservice has stopped". This would appear again when I would try to Update Firmware, Update Samsung Software, Update Profile, and Update PRL. After receiving the error, when I would reboot the phone I could update the PRL and Profile, but if I tried to update Samsung software or update firmware, the message would appear again.
Turns out that the solution was just to clear data/cache on the SyncMLSvc app via Application Manager, and then reboot the phone. Now all is well. Hope this helps someone else, and makes the solution a lot easier to find than it was for me.
Hey so I dug up my old Galaxy Nexus and wanted to get it ready for my dad to use. However after booting up when ever I try to do anything (press on an app or the menu) a notification pops up saying " Trebuche launcher has crashed". Rendering me unable to do anything as I can't get into the menu or settings either. I am not sure what to do. I think the phone has some version of Jelly bean on it from Cyenogen mod. It is a while back since I did anything with it.
So before I mess up and brick it I wanted to ask if anyone knows how to go forward with it.
In a crazy coincidence this is exactly the problem I ran into yesterday. I factory reset it in TWRP several times and it always eventually happened again. It may not be related, but it first happened immediately after updating the play store/services and agreeing to the play protect.
This last time I removed the SIM, reset, and reboot it. I immediately opened the play store (without opening the app drawer or trying to click on settings), turned off auto updating, and downloaded Nova Launcher. When you click home it asks which you'd prefer. I was then able to go to settings without any problems.
So far it's been about 45 minutes without crashing and restarting.
LineageOS (the successor of CyanogenMod) has an official build for toro that is currently maintained so after a complete backup I intend to flash it.
Hope this helped
Good morning! Alright. So. All I've done to my phone was Root it and get Xposed on it. Everything was completely fine until last night. Now, whenever I try to download anything from the Playstore, it just gets stuck on "Downloading". I've tried wiping its cache, its data, force closing it, reinstalling the update. Nothing seems to solve this issue. I was wondering if anyone else has run into this issue on this phone, and how they resolved it? I can't even update my applications, and I didn't even get a chance to Update my Phone, but now when I try to Scan for Updates, it just gets stuck searching :/
This happened to me at first. What worked for me for a couple days was to toggle airplane mode. Then, it started getting stuck again. So, I downloaded Beans GAPPS, and extracted Google Play services and Play Store.apk, and that seems to be working. Keep in mind, that not everything is going to work smoothly. If none of this works, look for the .apk and move it to your device and install it that way. Hope that helps, bud.
I tried Googling Beans GApps, but it seems like they haven't been updated in about a year. Or am I looking in the wrong places?
This has also been my problem since getting a pixel 2 xl almost a month ago. In fact, I wanted to make a thread about my issue earlier but I'm just too lazy! The only thing I did at first was to unlock the bootloader.
Now, I am completely stock without even root but my playstore downloads are stuck in "downloading" and usually the download starts after being stuck in this phase with about 15-30 minutes delay (which could even be hours before my download is finally started, so it's random). The funny thing is playstore lists my device certification status as "uncertified" in the settings. I have tried clearing cache+data of play services+play store+removing/adding my Google account. I also did a fresh and clean install of the May security update rom but all to no avail. I remember reading in another thread that Google may impose a 7 day lock or something for your Google account in these instances so at this point I am just waiting it out (only 3-4 more days remaining) to see if my problem goes away by itself, otherwise, I am pretty clueless as to what I should do next.
