Good afternoon.
I come to ask for your help.
I have an EONON GA8156 radio, but for a while now the radio was restarting on its own. Listening to music, using GPS, etc.
Even in the main menu, with nothing to play, it would restart.
Now, when I turn on the power, I can't do anything :|
At first, the "EONON" logo appeared and restarted alone. There was a time when you loaded the logo with the OPEL symbol but restarted again. He always walked like this until he came to a moment and nothing even appears anymore. And as you can see, the on-board computer screen displays the message "WELCOME" but does not leave. Until the radio restarts and the same message disappears/appears. Already on the radio, no signal.
What to do?
Help me please!
Best regards.

Hello Guys,
I really need some insight on this problem:
I have a KLD (http://www.eonon.com/Car-GPS/Specific-Car-GPS/Mazda/GA5151.html) unit for some time now, but since September it wasn't in my car because I was preparing an audio upgrade. As one of the last steps I've checked out the HU and I wanted to upgrade to the latest MCU&FW, but the unit wouldn't turn on. Since it's on my "workbench" I've checked the cables, fuse, the external PSU, everything i could, but it did not help. The unit worked flawlessly in the car and on the workbench 2 months ago. Nothing changed. Now it won't turn on, not even the fan at the back of the unit. The screen and the button backlights are also off.
The one confusing part is, when I push the power button with reset for a few seconds, the unit comes to life, and goes into recovery! I can flash a ROM, clear the cache, etc., but when I reboot the unit from the menu, it turns off, then the button backlights flash once, but nothing else happens. The unit stays turned off.
So far I've checked:
- Fuse
- External PSU
- Power button
- Replaced the SOM (The unit is RK3066 originally, I'm using it with RK3188)
- Tried different ROMs
- Disconnected the DVD drive
Nothing helped. I can get into recovery, but I can't boot the unit, no matter what SOM (or what ROM) I use. I would really appreciate some help, because I ran out of ideas.
Thanks in advence!

Ok, the big conclusion is to use the multimeter first. Magically, ACC was not even close to 12v. Switched to another PSU, everything works.
So, a few weeks ago my phone started randomly saying that my Sim Card wasn't installed. I think nothing of it and just restart my phone each time. Then, the night after that started happening, I was laying in bed at like 8 pm, and my phone starts playing this random ass 80's song I've never heard in my life. The second I turned my screen on, it stopped.. So I went in and uninstalled literally every app that wasn't essential. I also checked to see if I had any processes running that could've caused it. Nothing. A few days later, sometime in the middle of the day, it starts playing ANOTHER random song. But this one was spooky as **** sounding. Samething happened, stopped as soon as I opened my screen.
Skip 2-3 weeks to today, nothing has happened, no sim card error, no music.. my phone is working as normal, I'm out riding on my motorcycle with my phone mounted on it. I decide to stop and turn on some music (connected to my Bluetooth headset) and the second I unlock the device, it freezes up. So I start just pressing the screen, trying to swipe. Then it says "Google App process has stopped responding" (or something along those lines), then says "System process has stopped responding". So I hit the power button, the screen turns off but it won't turn back on. I finally take the battery out and put it back in. I boot it up and I notice it says "Custom" and has a unlocked symbol underneath it. My phone seems to be working fine now, but what the **** is going on.
Halp
I'm just doing a full wipe when I get home. I feel as if my phone may have been compromised.
Hello,
My unit Eonon GA7150A was working perfectly. But suddenly it stopped making sound, both on the radio, and on the buttons, youtube, everywhere. I tried factory reset, but just cleared the settings and applications. After a few minutes, the unit returned to sound. The next day, I go to the car, and the unit did not work. I tried to click on the power button and nothing. I tried several combinations with the reset button and the power button, and only turned on the lights when I released the reset button. After a while, the radio turned on, although it turned off automatically a few times, but at last it remained functional throughout the day, even turning it off several times. The next day the radio did not work again, this time I did not waste time trying to connect it. Anyone know what it might be and what the solution? I've also removed the fuses from the radio's glove compartment for a few minutes and nothing.
I hope to receive help,
Best Regards.
Hi,
I recently updated my rk3188 MTCB-YM from 4.4.4 to dsa’s 5.1.1 ROM. All went well with the update. After a couple of weeks, I found the ROM was starting to run quite slow and was almost unusable - except if you kept the unit on for a long time. It was like it was loading a lot of things for a long time and once that was done, it became responsive immediately instead of being delayed to button presses etc.
So I decided to boot into recovery and do a wipe all/factory reset. My unit does not have physical buttons or a gps sd card slot. None of the usual boot into recovery options work so I use an app to reboot into recovery. I started this app and chose the correct option. At the time I did this, the radio was playing. The screen went black and the stayed like that with the radio still playing. The lights on the unit are still on but nothing works - no response at all. I have turned the car off and left it off overnight. When I turn the car back on, the radio starts playing again immediately. (This would normally take a little time while it boots up, so the unit is obviously stuck). As I cannot do any of the reset/recovery options - is there anything I can do? I haven’t removed the unit to see if it is possible to short the pins as I don’t have access to a bench power supply and have limited skills. But I will try this if there are no other options. I also haven’t removed the battery terminal to cut power yet. That was going to be my next test. But wanted to see if there was any advice before I do this.
EDIT: I took the plunge and disconnected the battery, and the unit started back up again.

What did the reseller suggest when contacted for support?
i guess nothing or you have to ship it back to china and wait weeks until they answer.
Did you check all the fuses, or if one of the connectors came loose? Seems weird that part of it works.
