Samsung a50 is waiting for next twrp update - Samsung Galaxy A50 Questions & Answers

Hello XDA developers!
My device is SM-A505F/DS. Now is at the latest firmware:
PDA: A505FDDU3ASK2
CSC: A505FOLM3ASK2
Country: Vietnam (XXV)
Build date: Wed, 30 Oct 2019Security
Patch Level: 01/11/2019.
Yesterday I tried to unlock EOM and Bootloader. Then I flashed TWRP via ODIN and did exactly the Installation Guide in the thread by geiti94 but unluckily my device can not boot into TWRP. It only got stuck on boot. So I had to flash stock firmware. After that I tried another time with the thread by zvox. But the device only got stuck on boot. I had to flash stock firmware again.
Now my phone work well but everytime restart it got warning bootloader is unlocked.I think the thread by geiti94 and zvox don't work and not compatible with my firmware version. They are in effect with ASH2 firmware only.
So now I can't flash TWRP and root my phone. Can't try any custom rom.
It's boring but I still waiting for your next update.
I hope you soon release another TWRP which will work perfectly with my firmware version.
Thanks all!

Unfortunately you upgraded your firmware to last version and this update blocked the bootloader.you can t root or use custom recovery ,your phone will remain stock. i have the same problem , we can t do anything.
Maybe one user from xda will find a method..

I installed the Turkish version of A520FXXU2BQJ6 with november patch and all working great!
In Europe latest firmware's are locked so you can't flash TWRP via Odin.
But countries like India, Turkey etc.... there isn't any problem.

Hi there !

it didn't work so i tried to flash lineage v14 nougat and also didn't work :crying:
when i wanted to reflash the original firmware by samsung from sammobile it shows me some kind of bulls**t
when i flashed the firmware with odin and i rebooted my device it shows me erasing with the android logo and dosent boot, i think its some kind of virus cuz twrp shows me that no OS is installed (i can access download mode and recovery) i dont know what to do i tried to flash the original firmware 100 times
Please Help !
Hey (newbie here also.) I suggest you need to flash your original firmware via download mode.

A500F stuck at boot loading plz help

my galaxy A500F stuck in boot loading after I tried to flash with lineage 14.1 rom by twrp.
now my phone says 'karnel is not seandroid enforcing Set warranty bit :karnel '
after 3/4 hours nothing happened so I tried to go to system recovery mode but its not opening
then tried to flash with official rom but it keep failing
even my device model got changed from A500F to A5000
can't go further or backward, what can I do?
tnx in advance for help :crying:
where is it failing when trying to reflash official rom .. sboot.bin ? ? are you using latest odin to reflash stock rom ? does odin detect your phone ? you might need to flash a newer official rom if bootloader is newer than the one in the firmware your trying to flash.
is there no board for the 2015 A5 ? i think here is only 2017

SM-A720F (A7 2017) Flashing INS firmware over XSG - Odin Error

I have a Samsung A7 2017 (SM-A720F) brought from UAE having latest Oreo update. While I tried to flash an INS version over this Odin detects the phone. But after hitting start it takes some time and gives error like failed. I also tried to root it with CF-AutoRoot file. Those also have the same error. Developer mode, USB debugging and OEM unlock are ON. Trying with windows 10 + Odin 3.13 (latest). Any solution ?
Combination file successfully flashed. But, still not able to flash another country File. Can I proceed with original country file (i.e XSG stock firmware) ?
Please help me

Root with twrp and magisk, cfautoroot is OG in my opinion . Try flashing just CSC_home or whatever it is called in Odin.

I'm able to flash Combination file, original country (XSG) file and also flashes TWRP. But, I can't get access to TWRP after flashing it. Always it replaced by Stock recovery. And apart these 3 files nothing flashes, including CSC file alone...

When you flash twrp, untick auto reboot in odin. Boot straight into twrp without booting system.

If I flashed HadesROM OneUI with 'INS' CSC can I able to downgrade it with INS Stock firmware in future ?
Is the binary thing really need to consider while flashing that ?
PS : I looked on HadesROM. It is temptating. But, the real problem is with VoLTE which affects the network badly here... The VoLTE only network is a large mess here... And thanks for your unconditional Help & Support :fingers-crossed:

It should work to change csc with Hades and then flash stock. Just make sure you don't reflash csc then because it could change.

XA1 Ultra imposible to Root

Hello Everyone
I have a Xa1 Ultra phone (G3223)
After 3 full days of searching how can i root my phone i have come to the conclusión that is not posible because of these failed attemps :
1.- My firmware stock versión (working property) its 48.1.A.2.109 i couldnt find any custom kernel nor recovery that Works with this firmware and because of that i cant flash it, so i cant root it.
2.- I could not find and older versión of firmware that had a custom boot.img or recovery.img so i could not downgrade my phone to root it.
3.-There's only 1 post i found on this forum that had a working custom kernel and recovery to be able to root a xa1 ultra Xperia, but his stock firmware versión was 48.1.A.2.50 so as it does not matched mine any attemp to flash it got me a bootloop
So in resume is there anyway i could rot my xa1 ultra phone or all of my assumptions on my researchs are correct?
my stock firmware is G3223_48.1.A.2.109 is there any way i can root it?
Thanks in advance for any information about the subject
The furthest I got is to the conclusion that we need to downgrade to firmware G3223_48.1.A.2.101, there's a working magisk install for that.
I can't get the firmware anywhere and this forum is basically a cemetery.

Haven't tested but I found this >> G3223_48.1.A.2.101 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-oCN7am9nL5TiDQs5uUdLGtW2zEoSVpq/view
It was listed midway through this website >>> https://www.martview-forum.com/thre...-version-firmware-ftf-lock-remove-file.23366/
The .101 downgrade went fine with flashtool, but the TWRP package I found on the janjan thread just boot loops. In fact, anything that I try ends in bootlooping, even fastboot booting an extracted kernel without modification (extracted with either AIK or flashtool).
I think this phone will be impossible to root unless we find the original 48.1.A.2.50 software.

After flashing TWRP did you immediately factory reset? [Flash TWRP, reboot into TWRP, Wipe]. With other devices I've had issues occur if I did not remember to.
