Hello friends,
I'm from Brazil and I bought a LTE Galaxy Watch in Germany, exactly the same version (Sm-R805F) used in Brazil. However when I went to my mobile company to activate the e-sim it was not possible. When the system ask to read a QR code, in the mobile networks' activation process, a message of error appears ("It's not possible to conect this mobile"). Does anyone know why and how to fix it?
Can you check this Code...
Code:
*#1234#
Seems DIFFERENT Software crap exists... so different Profiles...
Code:
OXX
OXA
Check your CSC ...
OXA could be inside German Version... and OXX is maybe for Brazil...
Best Regards

Thank you very much!
I did it and the CSC is OXA (German version).
How can I change it to OXX?
PS: I did as they recomended here (https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/gear-s3/guide-how-to-change-gear-s3-r760-csc-t3784226 ) but theres no Brazilian code nor OXX.
OXX and OXA are """group"""
OXA contains minimum DBT CSC... for Germany
You can NOT change from OXA to OXX... because the config files not inside...
Your Link shows only way to change existing CSC inside flashed CSC file...
Example...
I have Firmware files... from OXX region...
Code:
CSC_[B]OXX[/B]_R805FOXX1BRI4_usr.tar.md5
You can unpack and extract with 7Zip... csc.img file.
Folder preconfig have 8 folderS with 7 CSC... DEF means Default IMHO...
Code:
BRI
TGY
VAU
XNZ
XSA
XSG
XSP
XSP is Singapore...
For the others I am tooo lazy... forgotten... use Google...
I have NO idea if it is an good idea to try to flash with netOdin such CSC files... or complete Firmware of OXX region.
Samsungs funny Security...
Best Regards
Edit 1.
I have tried to identify Brzil via Google search...
For me it looks no CSC inside for Brazil...
I have NO idea if SM-R805F is for Brazil market...
Edit 2.
Okidoki... Google search leads to this:
https://www.samsung.com/br/support/model/SM-R805FZSAZVV/
So looks like exists for Brazil... and you can see Sales Code ZVV it is in Product Code...
Code:
SM-R805FZSA[B]ZVV[/B]
IMHO 3 region groups... OXX OXA and ?
Firmware for Brazil seems not leaked... with ZVV inside...
Edit 3.
Firmware for SM-R805F for Brazil looks like this:
Code:
R805FXXU1CRK7/R805F[B]OWO[/B]1CRK7/R805FXXU1CRK7
So OWO is Region Code... for Brazil...
IMHO OWO package have ZVV Sales Code/CSC inside... for Brazil.
Edit 4.
My fault...
Code:
R805FXXU1DSC7_Tizen_4File_Multi CSC ([B]OWO[/B]).rar
Leaked and available...
But still no idea if this helps you... because dangerous to flash... Sams..g Security could prevent success...

Hi,
Can you list the available CSC's within the OWO version ?
I wasn't able to find it for download to check by myself..
@Nocturney
Region OWO Firmware contains these CSC:
Code:
COM
ZTA
ZTO
ZVV

I've been reading the post, but I'm a little lost. I do not know what to do. I have a R815 Vodafone Germany version, and I want to activate it for movistar Spain, but I receive the error "It's not possible to conect this mobile". The data of my watch are the following:
AP: R815FXXU1ARH5
CP: R815FXXU1ARH5
CSC: R815FOXA1ARH5
With the SDB utility I have accessed a hidden menu on the watch and I changed the original CSC VD2 to XEC, or at least I thought so ... I think VD2 is Vodafone Germany, and XEC is Movistar Spain (the company that I have on my mobile phone). Samsung Pay works, but LTE is impossible to configure ("It's not possible to conect this mobile")
It is possible to get a different firmware and flash it?... or how can I get to configure an esim (lte) from movistar españa?

Hey guys, I was reading this post and I have a problem a little different of you.
I bought a Galaxy Watch from The USA, LTE version (R805U) but I live in Brazil, I went to the phone company (VIVO) to try able the LTE (eSim) function but they said to me that it is impossible because only the R805F works here. My question is. Can I change the firmeware from 805U to 805F and it will works LTE here ?

Is not to you to do'it...
You need to call the operatório, in this case, Movistar and subscribe for the service and they activate the eSim...

I bought Samsung Galaxy watch when I was on holidays in Greece as in UK the LTE version was only with contract on EE. As I'm using Vodafone UK, I got the Qr Code for the esim but Samsung neither Vodafone could help me to make it work. Finally I make It work but my self, because my Samsung Galaxy watch is from Greek region I try to activate my Vodafone uk esim with a Greek sim network in my mobile device and it's worked perfectly, even when I put back my Vodafone uk sin on my mobile.
Hope that helps you.

Hi, could you elaborate on how you did that? I want to buy the silver LTE version from Hong Kong because that colour is not sold in Singapore, and it would be great if I could get the LTE working.

I have the Canadian version of S20. How do I check the supporting LTE bands? Carrier info seems inaccurate.
What's the service code?
I don't know how to get all single band support but i know how to get Carrier Aggregation combinations listed from Samsung devices. I guess you have Qualcomm edition in Canada so here is instruction to get log file: https://mt-tech.fi/en/how-to-get-4g...ons-from-your-android-phone/#Qualcomm_devices . If you like, please share to me (https://cacombos.com/contribute) so i can add your model supported Carrier Aggregation combinations to my site.

Hi Olkitu,
I had a S20 Ultra SM-G9880 from Hong Kong. I used the phone in Austria for about 1 Month. Everything worked fine in Austria, but I had the problem with CA with my provider.
My phone did not have all the combinations of CA from my provider.
Because of that I sold my phone. Can you edit the CA combinations of a Sm-g9880?
If yes I would by another time phone, because it is perfect for me.
Thanks and regards

I think if you changed your csc to tiwan "BRI " it should solve your problems, because Hong kong firmware "TGI" doesn't support CA but Tiwan firmware does so buy the device again but change the Firmware to BRI tiwan

Hi,
Thats true and not
I changed with the program samkey or so my csc.
After that i had the 5g option, caller ID and CA.
But the problem was the combination of CA. It did not paired Band 20 and Band 3. Only Band 20 and Band 7 or Band 7 and 3.
I described it in my other Postings.
I hope there is someone who can edit the CA combinations.

I have read your linked thread before , but I want to ask one last question, how do you test Carrier aggregation from your phone and how you test the active bands for Carrier aggregation my device is a Tiwan version and it is doing CA between band 3 & Band 8
In the menu *#0011# there you can see how is the CA status and with which Band it is paired.
I tried my sim with an exynos version and could see that band 20 is paired with the other bands.
With the sm-g9880 band 20 was not paired with other bands while CA. Only band 7 and band 3 were paired.

I'm currently on Tiwan firmware with BRI csc and my device is doing Carrier aggregation on Band 8 & band 3
attached picture
My device also paired band 3 and band 7.
The problem was the pairing with Band 20 because band 20 ist for the long distance.
There are also people in Australia who also have the problem.
@hoss_n2 what country and region were you successfully using CA at? I read that you changed from TGY to BRI.
I'm currently on T-Mobile USA and wondering if changing CSC to BRI will enable CA for me.

Did anyone confirm if changing csc tgy to bri changed the carrier aggregation combo files ? I don't think it does. Only way to check would be to examine the CA combos for bri and tgy to compare. No point in changing csc or flashing it they are the same.
Hi everyone,
I bought a S20+ 5G from USA but I live in France.
The firmware is : SM-G986U so my SIM card is not compatible on the network.
I think that the France firmware looks like SM-985F.
Is there a way to change the version of the phone to put it in France ?
Thanks for your help,
Mike
No way. its impossible
I had original this service provider software version SAOMC_SM-988B_OXM_ATL_RRxxxx ATL/ATL,ATL/EUX/ATL got it changed now to SAOMC_SM-988B_OXM_PHE_RRxxxx PHE/PHE,PHE/EUX/ATL only the last ATL which is connected to the carrier from Spain so ATL stands for Spain from the carrier but need it to get changed to PHE as well which stands for SPAIN but no CARRIER related!
I have Android 11 with bin version past 5 so no way to downgrade and through dialer not possible. So anyone else can help me to tell me which folder I have to use when rooted in the root folder to get the last ATL changed to PHE?

Hi guys,
This is not gonna be much info but to let you know it is possible, at a cost.
So I bought an F936N - CSC: KTC (Korean). It came with the KT branding and the nasty bloatware with the extra setting menu for KT.
I was sick of it. I tried Samkey, I tried Samfw frp tool. Nothing worked.
I personally don't care about tripping knox, I don't use Samsung pay, password, or the file vault stuff. I just use google pay (Wallet now)
So I followed this guide:
Change CSC on Samsung Devices (Root)
Install X-plore File Manager app or any other root browser from the Play Store. [googleplay url=”https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lonelycatgames.Xplore”]
Launch the app, go to Root Explorer option and change R/O to R/W.
Navigate to /efs/imei/ folder, edit the CSC code in the mps_code.dat file and save the changes.
Then go to /system/csc/ folder and edit your CSC in the sales_code.dat file. (System/CSC did not exist on my phone. but I did find the file sales_code.dat file within other folders that were named as the CSC such as KTC, SKT, KOO. I deleted all the folders except for KOO.
I just rebooted into download mode and flashed KOO firmware and it worked! No more KT carrier branding crap!
I've yet to try OTA. Not sure if it is no longer working or it is working. I'll wait for an update and see if it picks it up or not.
Update: OTA works
Not sure if we can replace the files from a different vairant such as F936B and flash its firmware... Would that give us the ability to change the phone completely?? Definitely something I am willing to tinker with on my phone but I would need someone to send me the files with an F936B and that person must have their phone rooted.
Cheers!

Once rooted you are never going to go back to stock. It physically burns a part of the SoC away. Samsung may have workarounds to fix this but no developer has, as yet, found any. It would probably be in the initialisation of the SoC in the factory. Very Low level format stuff...
Simple explanation, once rooted there's no going back even if you flash a stock ROM...

It is definitely not an international, F936B, device.
The Korean, F936N, device is only compatible with 1 Indian 5G network band, N78 (3500). See screenshot and link...

You are out of luck as you have already found out. The only way around it would be to get the entire motherboard which has the Korean modem, and replace it with an international, F936B, motherboard and modem. Changing the CSC code or flashing a custom ROM, even if one exists, will not change the devices hardware.
TOP TIP: Always buy the model of device that Samsung intended for use in your location.
Thanks a lot for clarification brother. I think I’m gonna sell it asap!
