The phone's in Fastboot mode, no matter the driver i can see it ( with USBDeview ) but i can't interact with it when i use adb or LGUP or LG mobile support.
Idk what next to try. I'm new so i can post pictures.

Try difrent usb ports or computer..
Try booting frome a linux live CD

Solved, I'm so happy!
I ended up making a cool new contact on facebook; Phan Văn Tâm.
He fixes *ALL* bootloop problem with LG devices (others also), like anything that goes wrong with the software... he can fix. (Over teamview so it's convenient)
He charged $30 for the fix. (which requires actual hardware to repair.
In the end worked out well for me and my phone works great (he even updated me to the latest software)
This is a do it yourself kinda place... but sometimes you just need some extra help I guess.

[Q] Cannot Restore G3 To Stock Using Flash Tool

I tried to use a volume fix by changing the values in some system files on my rooted G3, rebooted and got stuck at the LG Bootlogo. Been trying lots of things, finally used this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2799647 but the flash tool fails at 14 seconds saying failure to enter download mode. I have a D851C on T-Mobile, it is in download mode when I run the program and no change occurs on the screen save for the text log at the bottom. Upon booting into DL mode, it says USER B94. After unplugging and plugging it back in to start the unroot it changes to USER S0.0 AS0.0 B94 UHS then on the next line S U LG-D851 04.4.2 Hrev_10 and the next D85110c. It takes a good 50 seconds for the flash tool to change from saying awaiting connection, and then at 14 seconds it looks like the photo. The names of the dll and tot I am using are, respectively:
LGD851_20140611_LGFLASHv160
LGD851AT-01-V10c-310-260-JUN-20-2014+0
Yes I have set the port to 41 in device manager.
What the heck is wrong?
Someone please help I was supposed to fly out of state today but now I don't think I can without a phone and I can't afford a new one, I'm a student
Did you put your phone in download mode? It's not broken you just need to successfully flash it. It says download mode failed so here's a simple way to enable it if you ate having trouble. Pull out the battery then hold volume down and put it back it and plug in the cable. This should be done in a relatively fast manner to enable it if you are having issues getting into download mode.
Edit I know you said you put it in DL mode but I had a similar issue with my F400S so its worth a try.

Did you try using LG PC Suite --> Tools --> Fix Upgrade Problems?
The steps can have different names (didn't remember the names) but something like that, worked for me when I messed up my system

LG PC Suite didn't recognize it before, does it need to be in download mode when I do that? Or is there another recovery mode?
*EDIT* Just discovered this log, maybe someone's familiar with the codes and has an idea what to do

I may have found the solution for another member, but it is untested from me, as I am at work at the moment. In flashtool did you change the action mode? if not try changing the action mode to board dl instead of what its set to. Let me know, because I got the same issue right now.

damn, I'm on Sprint variant, only thing I haven't tried is lg suite and making sure my Flashtool is the latest version. I've tried everything else last night for 6 hours.
edit: my dl mode is working perfect. I see in your Flashtool, your error is slightly different. mine gets stuck at 93%. Then it reboots back to this

PC Suite won't recognize it if you don't use the correct version. The latest from LG's site is in fact the wrong version. You need the version that's about 223mb in size. Sorry, I'm not sure of the version and am currently busy fixing my phone with it, so can't check. Perhaps someone would kindly supply you with a download link.

Will it work even if my phone doesn't show up in explorer? My pc makes a sound when it is plugged in and unplugged in Download Mode but the only thing so far to recognize it is flash tool. If you can check the version please let me know but I'll look for it
Did you try a different USB port on your computer? Drivers get honked up easily using flashing tools and sometimes using a different port, or even a different USB cable can fix your problem. More likely another usb port, but I've also had a bad cable as well.

That's the problem is the only cable that works is the one that came with it, and I've used 3 of my 4 on my laptop, so I doubt it's the port

Also you have to realize the phone doesn't turn on. I get the LG logo, download mode, or factory reset. That's it
If that is the only cable that works - my guess is there's something probably wrong with the micro usb jack on your phone.. it shouldn't be that finicky where only 1 of 4 cables would work. If you do a warranty return, you might get lucky anyways. Several folks have posted on XDA that the stores where they returned phones were either clueless or didn't care about the status of the root code. Of course, YMMV.

You misunderstand: The cable that comes with the G3 is the only one GUARANTEED to work with these operations. Has nothing to do with the jack. Getting a new one in the mail tomorrow, can't tell if it's rooted if they can't access the filesystem

[Q] Boot loop: Can't enter Firmware Upgrade mode

I'm posting a question as I've spent days searching with no luck.
I have an LG G3 that while in normal use got very hot and turned off. Now it gets stuck at the LG logo and doesn't boot. I tried a normal factory reset but this just goes back to the LG logo and nothing happens.
So I'm trying to get into the download mode "Firmware Upgrade" screen to flash the stock rom. I hold down volume Up, and plug in the USB and it gets to the little "Download Mode" icon but does not continue to "Firmware Upgrade" and the computer (I've tried 3 different systems) wont recognize the phone.
Interestingly at some point while being in download mode it switched to fastboot, I have no idea how this happened but I was able to run commands on the phone using fastboot.exe, however I have not been able to get back to fastboot since.
Also I'd really like to be able to recover the data on the phone.
Any help would be appreciated.

I hope not, this phone was purchased in Media Markt in Germany and it's not covered by warranty here. LG Australia said it would cost up to $260 for them to fix it and the phone could possibly be downgraded if the mainboard needs to be replaced. I don't know if it would be possible to claim the German warranty.

[Q] Help to unbrick my LG G3

Hello friendly devs,
So I messed up big time. I updated to 23C via the OTA and then discovered I couldn't do everything that I wanted, so I searched around a bunch for a way to put TWRP on it (never had it on this phone before) and of course no good way. I tried flashing it, and I got the fun certificate verify error trying to get into recovery. I could still boot normally at this point. I should have stopped.
Anyhow, I found a post about flashing the 12b aboot and that would let me throw TWRP on there w/o downgrading and losing all of my data. So, I tried it. Needless to say, this did not work. Now, I cannot do anything really.
If I try to boot normally, I see the certificate verify error with the initial LG splash, then screen goes blank. One red LED and then persistent blue LED until I pull the battery.
If I try to boot into download mode, I get the same thing (except the download mode symbol - which stays until I release volume button) and then screen blanks, LEDS, etc.
Sounds like from doing some looking that I'm basically up a creek w/o a paddle. I can maybe try to get into qualcomm mode (but I haven't found out how to do this), and try to follow these: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/fix-unbrick-lg-g3-stuck-qualcomm-hs-usb-t2933853.
At this point, I'm thinking that's my only option. Does anyone have another idea, or at least advise on how to get my phone to recognize as 'Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 mode'
Thanks for your help...

Thanks @jac10000, I appreciate your help! Unfortunately, that set of instructions didn't work for me. I get an error that says ''Model information check failed' when i try the security error section. I think it could be that my phone won't even show as an LG device. The best I can do is QDLOADER (and even that with special drivers, it plugged in as QSUSB_BULK), even though I had proper LG drivers installed (from previously using ADB...that's how I borked it originally). Do you know of any other things I can try? I've done many at this point and am starting to feel hopeless. Thank you again for trying to help me!
You need a different set of drivers I think. I had a big problem with the qhusb_bulk mode but after installing the drivers I linked on my post in this thread it read as Qualcomm 9008: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3072091.
Try it out and report back to us. You should be able to then run the boarddiag tool as per the instructions on the attached pictures of the op in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/unbrick-lg-g3-qhsusbbulk-qualcomm-9008-t3072091.
Follow all the instructions very carefully and you should be able to bring it out of a bricked state!!!

I was able to get it into Qualcomm 9008 state, so that's a positive. I tried some similar, but I guess slightly different instructions using board diag and wound up with 'Failed loading flash programmer' errors. I'll try these other directions tonight. maybe if they're more specific I'll have more luck.
thanks again!

I have somehow apparently screwed myself over worse. Before about half the time my computer was recognizing my phone when i plugged it in, and with the drivers, as the qualcomm 9008. But now, I can't even get that! I plug it in in download mode, or normal, or not on at all and the computer doesn't recognize it. I've tried uninstalling the drivers, reinstalling them, rebooting, not rebooting. I opened it up to try and short the test pin, as the instructions stated, but there was a metal covering over the qualcomm chip which I couldn't remove. I am starting to think I'm screwed. I have seen lots of people having success with d550 and d551, etc, but I'm worried the verizon model is different.
thanks again for helping me. If you have any other ideas, I'll try pretty much anything at this point!

I had my VS985 hard bricked when I used "DD" command to mess around to try to put TWRP on it. I tried every possible method out there and I found that they don't work on VS985. KDZ and TOT flash all failed, no ADB. I tried it for 2 weeks and I gave up and sent the phone back to LG for warranty service. Guess what? Even LG couldn't fix it. They had to replace the motherboard! I would advise you the same path. Since your phone is so screwed, LG probably won't be able to tell what you did to it. Just play dumb and say one day you wake up to a dead phone. It worked for me.
By the way, who told you to put a KK aboot to a L rom? That seems to be a sure way to hard brick your phone. OTA does not work with a modified phone (no root, no TWRP). When you get your phone back from LG, TOT it to 10b, Stomp root it, and install TWRP manager to install TWRP. Then you can find the Jasmine flashable zip to upgrade to L. Avoid all OTA stuff.

oh wow, huh. Was your bricked in the same way as mine, showing the 'secure booting error' when you try to start it up in any mode? That super good to know. I may just try. thanks for the advice!
Yeah, I will definitely follow your advice and do that, if I ever get it back! I followed a thread I found, but was clearly making a huge mistake. If only I knew that then!

When booting up, my phone did not show the LG and Verizon start up screen. Even the LED wouldn't light up. It vibrated once, so you know it was powered on. The screen was completely dark. When connecting to computer, the normal LGE device showed in Device manager and I could change the COM port to 41 for TOT flash. However, the flash would fail just like yours. The phone model, IMEI were all blank. KDZ errored out too. KDZ is more forgiving in mismatched phone model, and if even it fails, then you probably cannot save it.

Interesting. I appreciate the advice. I'll probably give it a try, since I seem to be out of other options, but I suspect the secure booting error will be a give away that i did something to violate my warranty.

Bootloop issue lg g3 d850

Hello so I am hoping i could get some help fixing my lg g3. Its been stuck in boot loop for a couple of days now and I've looked and searched and I cant seem to fix the problem. I don't know if its hard bricked or maybe there's a way to fix it. The issues all started when i couldn't connect to wifi or use Bluetooth on my phone. At the time i tried updating to 5.1 but was not available yet. I had seen on some threads that by downgrading it might fix the issue. So I downgraded my phone by using LG flash tool. I downloaded the dll. at&t D850 file and the at&t D850 tot file. Afterwards the wifi and Bluetooth was fixed. But then it started to reboot on its own and the issues came back. Although after a couple of reboots it just got stuck.
I've tried doing the factory reset by holding the volume down and holding the power button and i see the android logo but it s till gets stuck on boot loop.
I've also tried reinstalling kitkat with LG flash tool and when i do it says Fail Mino OS at around 90%.
I was also gonna try and use Odin3 which i read might fix it but when i connect my phone to my pc it doesnt recognize that its connected. I uninstalled and reinstalled the lg drivers but still cant recognize it.
If anybody could help me and give me some advice that would be greatly appreciated
Same problem here, did you fix it?
I got exact same problem, don't know how to fix it.
Possible solution (if u downgrade mm to kk and the result is boot loop)
hi guys
i tried to explain my solution (sorry for my english but i'm mexican)
i had the same problem like u, but my problems with this device start with the wifi and bluethoot, when i tried to turn on just doesn't work.
i tried the same method with TOT and DLL files (Kitkat) V10a and LGUP, LGFlashTool and LG Flashtool 2014 but nothing, the phone finish the flash done but the boot loop continued.
i search and read a lot of tutorials and nothing, but i found a KDZ for D850PR, this firm is from Puerto Rico but works on ATT Devices and vuala!! my phone comes alive!!
ok, u need some file but i think u have almost all of them....anyway i will explain everything than it's possible..
Files to need:
LG Drivers - http://tool.lime.gdms.lge.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=UW00120120425
LG Flashtool 2014 - http://www.mediafire.com/download/fwrcd3pdj0svjtb/LG+Flash+Tool+2014.zip
LG D850PR Firm V20a - http://www.easy-firmware.com/index.php?a=browse&b=category&id=314 (i will try upload to my dropbox and paste the link)
and here we go!!
1.- follow this tutorial to learn flash with LG Flashtool 2014 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190 (thanks to quangnhut123)
2.-when u finish to flash the firmware, perform a hard reset
*HARD RESET - remove battery, press volumen down + power, when u see the LG logo release the power key and hold on again, and u do the hard reset.*
PD. *if ur device turn on with Mini OS 3.1 screen do the next steps
-check the options and u will see "normal boot (+ power key)", hold on the power and press on this option and the phone will starts normal
i hope help u with this solution, i don't know if this solution works in ur devices but maybe u can try and get back work ur LG G3!!

Can you put your phone into download mode? => Hold volume down button for a few seconds and attached the usb cable to your phone?
Also, how old is your phone? LG phones have a history of having issues with batteries dying and this causes the phone to constantly reboot. I had this problem myself, which is why I know about it..

Please help me buddies!

Hello there pals, I have a problem, I have an Lg H815P (Mexico Version), and i was using it normally for about 15 days, then suddenly the home screen freezed, and then the phone restarted, i thougt it was just a lagging issue, but then, when the phone booted up again, after like 5 secs it freezed up again and restart, a infinte loop, then i said, this Rom must be corrupted (Stock TELCEL Rom v20b Android MM), and decided to do a hardware keys factory reset, then the phone restarted but when it was android upgrading apps, it kept restarting, at last it booted up but the problem persist. So im kinda worried, how a problem cant be fixed at a full hard reset? When im trying to flash a KDZ file From lg flash tool, the program fails because cant find phone, a kinda weird thing because the adb detects it sometimes, others not, i booted the phone in safe mode and the problem persist anyway, what can I do? I already have the drivers, the lg up, and the lg bridge apps, they all said that im running the last software for my mobile device, i´ve tried another battery as well, so im kinda lost, another thing, after the hard reset, the phone was able to stay on like 15 mins, sometimes 5, sometimes just secs, dunno what is happening but i really need some ideas, can you help me to work this out?
Greetings pals!

I have had this problem occur because of the launcher. Try cleaning the cache and data and see whether an updated version is available. You could also try a 3rd party one and see if that helps or simply re-install the LG launcher.
If no luck, you could try flashing another kdz with LGUP-NEW: https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lgup-install-kdz-mm-lp-t3249803
There are a couple of TCL kdz's listed on this site: https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-h815p-firmwares/
Scroll sown to LG H815P Firmware List.
Back up everything first.

Ty pal, I´ve tried with nova launcher, but no dice, still restarting, perhaps because i cant disable lg launcher from apps menu, actually i´ve been trying with flashtool and kdz files but i think the program doesnt recognize phone, cuz it show the message in lg mobile support tool: error required info cannot be found, contact administrator. I have the drivers, the pc in download mode and connected to pc, full charged, what else im missing?

Make sure you are using the correct LG Mobile Driver on your PC: LGMobileDriver_WHQL_Ver_4.2.0
If you are using the drivers your PC installs, you will have issues. Check in Device Manager on your PC.
Use LGUP-NEW to install a kdz.

I found the correct drivers and installed a DLL for lg up, so the program now detects my phone, the problem is that i install as Refurbish the same version that i was running, the h815p v20a, but when it finishes it says rebooting, but in the device is boot looped at lg logo and powered by android, the phne used to boot and show desktop, now is bootlooped, what else can I do to make him boot?
Cheers buddies

If the phone is still recognized on your PC, see if you can get into download mode. If you can, try re-installing the KDZ from there. Make double sure it is the same kdz that was installed on your phone when it worked.
The other option is to see if you can get into recovery mode and try a factory reset.
It is possible that the freezing you were experiencing before when it booted up was, as raptordd suggested above in post #4, an early sign of the hardware bootloop issue that has now manifested fully. The only real option then is to send it in to LG for repair and tell them your phone, you believe, has developed the hardware bootloop issue. Even if out of official warranty, they should replace the motherboard in that case, at no cost to you.

Now that u mention that, the phone was recognized by pc, but i installed a lot of kdzs, and none of them made the phone boot, every one of them were for h815p v20a, the one that was installed, but now i connect it to pc and then says download mode but doesnt enter and then the lg logo appears again, even the charge is meesed up now, i think i screwed the download mode and the charge mode, is that possible? but i tried the factory reset when i had the working firmware but the problem persists. Now im thinkin my only option is to use a octoplus box to revive it, but dunno if that will fix the restart problem, about that warranty stuff, i can send it to lg mexico and they should change my motherboard for free? That sound too good to be true.
Salute! pals

See if you can enter recovery using the hardware buttons and try executing it again.
LG has been replacing motherboards in a lot of cases where the issue is attributable to their own hardware issue (ILAPO). You don't really want to discuss the things you have done to get it working again with them ... if you get my drift, i.e., play dumb ...

Ok if none of the baove works, ill do that, but no, it has no recovery neither, not even stock, i read about a bootloader way to fix the download mode, im gonna try that but i doubt i can cuz bootloader is factory locked cuz is latin version.
No luck at all, phone is still bricked, is there any way to flash stuff via bootloader or abd without bootloader unlocked or root?
