I always try this on my new Verizon phones. Tried it on my latest S7 and S7 Edge and there was no FM receiver working. Tried it on the Note 7 today and worked just fine.

I know... Stupid Verizon and pushing apps. I hate hate Verizon. They remove good OEM features in order to charge for similar yet inferior service and push apps (like those stupid games) to the phones.

I also disabled it. I first disabled it through app manage... but somehow it seemed to come back. So I disabled it using Package Disabler Pro, and have not seen it since...

Make a voip call to anyone, whatsapp call for example. Couple of sec would suffice or a minute.
Then use CPU SPY to monitor if it goes back to deep sleep, remember to reset stats first in the app. Currently , mine and im guessing all other exynos models wont go to deep sleep after a voip call. Only a restart fixes it.

No. There is no working twrp for Snapdragon only for the Exynos variant.
Your phone has a snapdragon chip in there so no root/twrp.

oh ok. That's new, I stand corrected. it looks like there are now twrp installers for certain snapdragon devices with unlocked bootloaders. that's cool.
I remember when I installed 10.0.0.180 Emui 10 that the app "Network Cell Info Lite" no longer stated that Volte was active on my device using TMobile USA. Attached pic. But as soon as I went back to 9.1 it was active. Anyone on 10.0.0.184 check? Cheers

When cell was on 9.1 it showed volte unavailable same like u got. Then i replaced the sim it worked. So i guess it was simcard issue

Yep, that's a Jio issue , they always seem to have volte issues with their non branded devices.

No no I have different cards all were replaced for proper working Volte issue. Thats for my issue, card replacement was the answer.
