Well, what is left for me is to asume that the cel. provider blocked you, or the phone, unfortunatly, is malfunctioning.

Maybe I got a defective product. I flashed using miflash tool and having the same issue. No sure what else to try.
It`s sound like you should contact Xiaomi directly to solve the problem.

maybe you should change the SIM card to another phone to make sure that the SIM is ok first.
Hello everyone, I have a Moto Z2 Force XT1789-06. I had updated the firmware and after that the phone is working but the baseband is not found and the IMEI is unknow and of course there is no wi-fi and no carrier signal. I have already tried to flash the original retail firmware and it can be installed accurately but the baseband and IMEI are not identified.
Do you know how can I repair it?
Thank you.
I solved the problem. You can close the discussion.

He asked how, not if you did. Usually on this site it is advised to share you solution so if someone else is trying to fix the same issue they can try what you did.
lol i found that there is not issue for imei = 0, my xt1635 has dual sim , and both IMEI=0, and voice / data work fine

What problem do you have? "imei unknow" or "baseband not found"? What did you do exactly on the phone?

Well I had the problem of baseband not found but I could solve it, I still continue without a mobile network although the IMEI does appear. The only thing I did was update from nougat to Oreo. The phone is the AT & T variant and is unlocked for all networks. Any solution to have mobile network again?

Have you tried installing the latest version of the AT&T OCSX27.109-47-14 firmware? It also happened to me not to have a telephone network and wifi. It is caused by the wrong NON-HLOS.bin file.

Yes, that version is the one that installs first now I am with the OPXS27.109-34-15. I'll try flashing the stock ROM maybe the problem is solved.
I managed to get myself in this situation this weekend... When I start my phone in fastboot mode it shows "baseband <not found>" and when I start it I get no wifi or network.
I've flashed almost every Retail firmware from this repo to no avail: https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/nash/official/RETAIL/
Any particular version I should be installing perhaps? Could I install another version that is not retail? Mine is the -05 variant.

Nice tool, I wasn't aware of it. I managed to connect it and it asked me to reboot to fastboot mode, but when it is in fastboot mode it says my device is not supported... :crying:

Hello. You have an XT1789-05. You do not have to install a Retail firmware but Latam.
The latam firmware are these:

Hey guys, can you give me some insights. I relocked bootloader by flashing 10.0.3.0 through miflash. Now it recognizes sim but it says no service. Any ideas? Should i try unlocking bootloader again, and reflash the stock rom?

Tried doing that. Twice. I reverted to oreo, and updated to pie. Still no service. The sim can be read, though. I think it's a hardware problem

So if "fastboot flash modem modem.img" not working, it may be hardware..
Or maybe it's caused by your carrier
I had the same problem. Used MI Flash to get to Pie 10.0.2 (December) and it worked. Not sure what's the deal with It, but don't believe this is a hardware issue.
The sim works on my redmi note 5. I'll try flashing the december update then. Hopefully it works

10.0.3.0 seems to have issues with SIM cards. When I flashed 10.0.3.0 via MiFlash SIM slots were swapped (SIM1 was shown as SIM2 and SIM1 was disabled) but this issue is fixed by flashing 10.0.2.0 then updating to 10.0.3.0. I guess stock 10.0.2.0 is more stable in terms of connectivity.

Need help here! I forgot to backup my oneplus 9 pro LE2127 when I tried to root my phone using TWRP,and I installed TWRP in my phone's boot partition which wiped out all data in that partition. I used TWRP side loaded Global ROM to recover my phone but the phone doesn't have any signal with sim card in. Used MSM tool backe to T-Mobile 11.2.5.5 and still same problem, sim card can be read but no signal. Flashed T-Mobile modem but modem b failed, it says no such partition.
Bought this phone from third party. Any suggestion is appreciated.

5g is turned off. Not working
Hello, Volte used to work well on my op9 pro recently updated to A12, I tied switching my sim card from sim 1 to sim 2 as I read some users were able to connect to 5g that way, well, it didn't work and when I switched my sim back, volte stopped working, tried restarting the phone a couple of times, no luck. Any ideas ?
Also, even before switching to A11 5g never worked and still doesn't work on my 9Pro in the UAE, tried all possible solutions and it still doesn't work, any possible solutions?
Can you try to reset your APNs and/or the whole networking? (Beware: by resetting the network you'll loose your saved WiFi configurations.)

I was getting the same issue, but flashing a different variant of your current c.44 should do the trick.
Ex: I have a LE2127 (TMO), I converted with a11 to use LE2123(EU) software updates. When android 12 hit my phone wouldn't give me data on the 2123 update, so I had to download the LE2125(global/NA) update and flash using the the system update app that was so generously given in the following post:
Post in thread '[TMO] 9 PRO MODEM RETENTION' https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/tmo-9-pro-modem-retention.4292445/post-86328243
I don't know what software or model your phone is now, so I am NOT suggesting you switch if you are not already on 2123 or 2125. Those two are interchangeable without problem so it should be fine
