Is there any way to add a gesture swipe on the screen, that is simillar to the u-turn arrow icon on the return button. I find it annoying trying to hit that small button at times and think a u-turn swipe on the screen would speed my navigation up alot.

If your rooted I'd recommend GMD Gesture Control which let's you define your own multi-touch gestures to do a large host of actions including navigation. It has many other features just read what it does on the playstore. If your not rooted yet with concerns about loosing warrenty there are guides in this section on how to root without tripping Knox. I've done it and still am on Samsung firmware as you do not need a custom ROM.

Hello everyone!
I'm using LOS 15.1 as my first custom ROM, with GMD gesture control (no nav bar in screen).
There is no option to split screen with GMD so I think to add it to power menu.
Any ideas to do that?
I'm new in custom and rooted phone, I've heard about substratum them engin, doese it allows that kind of customisation?
Edit
I add this option with button maper, and long press low volume. I had a bad experience with that app but it seems to work great in custom ROM.
Edit (again)
I use fluid n.g. in addition to add split screen and assistant, everything work fine with both simultaneously?

After coming from Huawei's EMUI these "full screen" gestures are just really bottom screen gestures. I used to swipe anywhere on the edge of the left/right of the screen to go back, but now I need to swipe UP from the BOTTOM corner of the screen, which is ridiculous on a long 6.7" body. These gestures are no different to the nav buttons, instead of pushing the buttons you're swiping them.
Is there any way to get actual full screen gestures on this phone?
Update: I found an app which gives me even more options than EMUI's gestures, it's even better: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.agooday.fullscreengestures

After installing good look, install "One Hand Operation +" and you'll get the same emui gestures for going back, with more customization.

Is there a way to disable the back gesture completely while keeping the navigation gestures option?
The back gesture gets in my way every time I want to open a hamburger menu.
No, but if you use a custom rom there's the option to make the swipe back only the bottom half of the phone
As the title said... I use a lot lmt launcher and i orefer to use it as border Action (left and right).
In op7 i had lower gesture that are very very usefull. In op9pro there aren't this type of gesture and the only way to use the gesture is with the "workaround" on xxx_nolimts that disable the lateral "back". But... Xxx_nolimts still not be supported and i think that when op start with android 12 rollout will not work anymore.
Any ideas to obtain the old lower gestures?
Hi,
Unfortunately you can't.
Have you tried Substratum Lite, No_Nav.apk and Fluid Gestures Navigation ?
That's what I use to have swipes for back at the bottom. Left and right side: swipe for back.
Middle bottom: swipe for home.
And swipe for next or previous app at the right of the screen, with 2 zones.
custom roms allow nav off to allow for overlay gestures
Thanks... Is what i need! I will try
