Odin operates on a different device mode (download mode) where installed rom settings/security don't apply.

The baseband of my version is G891AUCU2BQA7. Also where would I find the link to the 6.0.1 firmware, and what version of odin should I use?

Okay, yes it is
Heres my post when I was searching for it myself.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-active/development/how-downgrade-7-0-to-6-0-1-t3590649
The download mirror link is in there
Download and extract using the password in that forum
Boot into download mode and flash it with Odin.
I can confirm this works.
Just got an S7 Active G891A and I want to downgrade the firmware to root it. It's on the QB2 Firmware. Is it possible to downgrade without risking bricking it?

How to get to 6.0.1 from 5.0.1

I am on C0C6 and want to get to 6.0.1 but can't find the needed updates too. Any suggestions?
Everything you need is in this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-att/general/updates-thread-t3663943
First use Odin to install EQF1. Then if you want the latest security patches, install the updates for EQG1 and EQH1 through recovery.
Thank you for helping. Do I install the via Odin or recovery mode?

Read that already. Im gonna try to download the firmware at sammobile so I can extract a stock boot image. Thanks. It is gonna take a while to download. Does magisk convert the stock boot image to ***.tar so it can be flashed with ODIN?

Can i install stock firmware by using TWRP?

My usb port doesn't work, I can't use odin to flash system. It's possible to install official firmware for A520f XEO using only TWRP?

You could flash the system and boot partition to stock. Theoretically, if you made a zip with stock firmware, you could do bootloader and everything. But that could be risky.
