3d scanner couldn't be found in camera app. In samsung members got the link to download 3d scanner. It tried using all means but it shows couldn't be done .
Anyone successfully got it worked ?

Seeing as there was a system dump for the note 2 last night, does anyone have a list yet of of compatible new note apps that will work on galaxy s3? I saw a couple apps in the system dump file list, but didnt know what some of them were and didnt know the effect they would have on the phone. Honestly im only interested in one app (and so should everybody as well! LOL). It's the screen recorder app.(lets you record audio and video on screen while in menus and such) I tried installing the apk for it a fews mintues ago and I got an error parsing the package message. Any tips on how to get this apk installed? Am I missing a step? Thanks

Can you upload the gallery apk and the screen recorder apk? I tried extracting them and putting them on my S3 earlier, but i had no luck.

Hi, I downloaded the dump and extracted the apk. Push it into my system./app and also changed the permission tried installing but not install. .y? I even push the odex in as well still not go. Anyone did it and it work.? Note 2

I dunno, I'd be interested in the Note 2 screen recorder as well. Tried the screencast demo and the finished products flickered a lot. I'm on 4.0.4 too, so it's none of the jb flickering issues. Tried viewing them on Mobo player as screencast suggests, same results.

sounds weird
edit: on website it's available but when i try to search for it through my device i can't even see it
50GB is only for a limited time though. Can't see in the small print how long it lasts for.

That is weird...it's supposed to work now...oh well, i just updated the files in the OP so you can download and install the latest version if you haven't yet...
I had installed it on my samsung vibrant yesterday, and just transferred the apk over to my tablet, worked without issues.
I am new to android so bear with me. I started to download this app but it wants permission to access all my data and also to be able to erase all my data on sd card. What does this mean and is it dangerous? Thanks

Map Caching is still there... but its an easter egg right now...
Search for "Okay Maps" and it'll copy it to the clipboard, aka the cache.

All the links I have tried have had issues parsing the apk. People say it is only working on 4.2.2. That is why I asked him to upload the apk, and sure enough it works perfect and I'm on 4.1

In those links was also the same one he posted. For 4.1.x . But the main thing is you got it working . Also wanted to share the Info on it, in case someone wanted it .

Well WTH! I wonder why it seems so sluggish on my phone. I just ran a quick quadrant test to make sure everything is running up to snuff and got a nice ~5600 or so, so no issues there. Everything else seems in line, and the old maps ran fine too.
So you don't find the frame rate to be slow or anything? I wonder what the heck is going on with my phone. Perhaps I should reboot after updating..

I rebooted into recovery and wiped caches and fixed permissions after installing. And it runs perfect.

I'm wondering why the features besides caching map data found in labs appear to all be missing. I'm particularly missing the "measure" feature that allows me to measure distance as the crow flies between any two points. I'm also bummed about the bigger text option disappearing. Obviously there are lots of cool new features and I love the new interface but wish they didn't remove features that were already buried in the labs section.

I hate it. I used Latitude and they retired it claiming you could use Google+ for the same thing. Well you can't. My Google+ locations (with everything enabled), just shows my icon against a grid. There's no map underneath like they advertise.

There is definitely an issue with the on screen controls and Netflix, BBC iPlayer, TV Anywhere (Virgin) etc
Many people have complained on Netflix's Play Store page by giving 1 star and saying since the Netflix update you are not able to pause, scroll forward or back as the on screen controls appear for a split second and then disappear, but it isn't Netflix's fault as the same issue exists with BBC iPlayer (downloaded content playing back only - not streaming) and Virgin's TV Anywhere.
This only began after the OTA upgrade to 4.4.2.
Apart from my feelings that the battery is draining quicker, the navigation is not as fluid and the native video player sound is not as good, this update has proved to be a failure in my view.
I read that the bootloader was locked so custom rom is out of the question at the moment (I think, not that clued up on such issues) - but I wouldn't want to root anyway as it renders Sky Go and other apps useless.
Can someone shed some light as to what is wrong and how to fix?
No problem with BBC I Player. Don't use the other two. I'm rooted and been able to get rid of some of the Samsung junk. Can't run apk's as reported in another thread. Have you a link to the bootloader issue?

So if you download a programme on iPlayer and watch you are able to pause while watching?
The thread I saw the locked bootloader info was here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2788770 - but I am not sure if this is referencing a different rom?

Here is the android.policy.jar from my deodexed rom. It has the fix built in, but you will need be using deodexed rom for it to work.
Some one know what app they use for the 3d scanner camera? In the unpacking event never shows what app they use. Thanks
