I know a couple of custom roms have implemented a version of gaming mode however I'm looking for something that emulates the oxygen os version. specifically when answering a call it automatically switching to speakerphone and not taking away focus from the game you're playing. Also the feature to see notifications as a text only overlay on top of screen instead of as a heads up notification. Is there any way to accomplish this on a custom ROM?

I have a t-mobile us touch pro 2, stock rom, and for the life can't figure out how to enable single column mode in PIE.
Slightly related, if I go into zoom out mode in PIE, should the zoom bar do anything? I've spent a lot of time trying to determine if my zoom bar is broken or if it just doesn't actually do much.

having not heard anything, i'm going to have to believe one-column mode was removed in pie with wm6+
I have since upgraded to the stock wm6.5 rom and can say the zoom bar seems to be slightly more sensitive and definitely more integrated with pie, doing more than just changing the font size. Still not convinced it aint broken, but at least now i can see it working.
Is there any way to disable camera orientation on the EVO? I'm currently running a Sense ROM (Calkulins 1.7.7) but would like to do this for AOSP as well since sometimes I run CM.
Basically, I always want my camera in portrait mode. However, just the slightest tilt of my phone rotates my camera - annoying. Regardless if screen orientation is on or off, the camera always rotates even at the smallest degree of rotation..
Thanks!
Personally, I don't think you can stop it from rotating. You wana search in themes and apps, MAYBE a mod there, but unlikely, I think. Sorry man.
So I got a OP3 recently and coming from OPO CM13 had some features that didn't work like I wanted or didn't have options in the stock ROM so I installed sultanxda's wonderful OP3 ROM. What I did not realize was that the camera software is a lot worse than what the stock ROM offers, so I was thinking of going back to that if I can get the following things working in some other way:
Notification light color per app. I used Light Flow for this back in the day, is it still a good choice or is there something better?
Disable the stupid charging lights. I'd rather not have the room light up at night just because my phone is charging.
Change DPI to 440 so I can fit more stuff on screen.
Rearrange on-screen buttons. I like the back button in the center. Not a big priority, just nice to have.
Adjust vibration intensity.

I can hopefully solve some for you:
* Charging light can be disabled if you turn off the led, and use some third party app for the notifications.
* You can swipe back and recents but can replace home button with back button unless u use xposed
* Vibration intensity can be increased by using a custom kernel tuning app like Boeffla app // EX Kernel manager app etc
install xposed framework with gravity box and vibration tuner module

You can flash the Ressurection variant made by Eliminater (BJRR) together with Oxygen Cam....
I found a problem with some apps that run exclusively in landscape mode, the notch are is not used.
I, unlike others, am a fan of the notch, and I always want to use the full real estate of the screen. Even the launcher refuses to use that zone while in landscape mode... And while most people hate the notch, remember one thing... we are rocking IPS not OLED... so while the notch is off, you can still see light bleed from it, which for me, it's annoying as hell.
Is there a way to force apps to use that zone while landscape? I came across discussions from essential phone and oneplus and they can natively (because customization level) force apps into full screen mode.

This Magisk module will do it.

It's a system-wide toggle though, not a per-app toggle.
I have no contribution in making or getting any benefit from this Rom.

Thank you for this port! I have been using it for a while and so far it does not have any major problems. Everything runs smoothly, unlike the other unofficial Xiaomi.eu MIUI 11 ROM posted on this forum. The camera app gives low quality pictures, but that can be fixed by installing a compatible Google Camera. The UI looks great, however I noticed two apparent mistakes. First, in the Control Center the Mobile data label actually does not fit when the UI text size is set to default, and it shows Mobile da...
The second thing is that in music playback notifications the time codes on both sides of the playback slider are way too small and out of place. And they cannot be dismissed even when playback is stopped/paused. Also, sometimes, in the Control center, some quick toggles get greyed out randomly, mostly the Cast and the Screen record buttons. Overall, it is a good ROM, and I am looking forward for any updates.

I will advice you to just disable the control center.
Goto settings>Display>Status Bar>Use Control Center
And turn it off.
I never used control center as it is annoying for me so I did not know about that issue..
Just change the font size and it will be okay.
Actually, the Control Center brought me back to MIUI after 2 months of Havoc OS, so I don't want to get rid of it. I tried changing the font size, but that made the whole UI look a bit ugly. I found an app called MIUI 12 Control Center on Google Play, that offers some customization and makes notifications look a bit more consistent, but that is ridden with bugs. I've seen on YouTube that the newer builds of MIUI 12 have the Control center and the notifications fixed, so I hope OP will update this ROM as soon as possible.

Different fonts make look different. Try to use some other font then. Or you can change the screen resolution to 414 .
