Hello! Everyone I got xiaomi mi mix 2 and its android 8 I unlocked the bootloader I waited 3 days, I was trying to root it and install twrp recovery i downloaded the twrp recovery via fastboot, it showed successful and okay 0.146s and when I tried to reboot the phone to recovery mode it's turning off and it's not working either when I'm trying to turn on the phone its loading on the logo and nothing happened, and plus I downloaded the latest twrp recovery. What's the solution please?

The link below will give you detailed instructions on properly installing TWRP. If you're worried that you've messed something up. I'd use Xiaomi MiFlash to flash back to stock ROM. Then I'd follow the instructions in the link below to ensure I did everything properly. The link below also covers rooting and installing custom ROMS.

I did all the steps and the recovery mode is not showing up every time I boot to the recovery mode the phone either turns off or keeps looping.
After you flash TWRP, does it show the TWRP boot logo and then cut off? If so, as soon as the TWRP boot screen comes up, tap somewhere on the top of the screen. I had an issue for a while when booting into TWRP it would act like it was going to boot into TWRP and then it would just cut completely off. The workaround for this for me was to tap somewhere on the screen as soon as I seen the TWRP screen. Hope this helps you.

Hey all,
I installed TWRP last night with the one-click installer, afterwards I installed CyanogenMod and wanted to install a clean TWRP image (The one-click installer was themed, I wanted it stock), so I used TWRPs built-in image flashing (Install > Image) to flash a stock TWRP image, since then I've been unable to boot into TWRP.
I've tried flashing the image again via Flashify and it doesn't work. I'm still able to boot into and use my phone, however I can't enter recovery at all, it just stays at the black LG screen. I've also tried turning the phone off, holding the power + volume down buttons, after entering into the screen where it asks you if you want to factory reset, I pressed yes twice and it froze.
I have a T-Mobile LG G4 (H811), does anyone have any ideas?

Just fix mine same problem! Go to play store and get TWRP Manger and install g4 international recovery only g4 recovery downloadable on the app! It will at least get recovery back.
Now get the correct recovery for h811 and install it in twrp not twrp manager.
That's how I got mine working hope it works for u!

I spent hours trying to find a fix! KDZ back to stock 3 times and flashify like 10 times nothing !
Trust me it works! Sounds stupid and goes against any thing I would normally do. But it works!!!

Flashing the international TWRP actually worked..
After flashing the international TWRP image, I'm able to boot into both recovery and system, however when flashing the T-Mobile TWRP image, I'm only able to boot into my system, recovery will just stay at the black LG screen.
Anyone have any ideas?

Flash twrp twice, mine had same problem long ago
So I recently today bootloaded my POCO F3 then I decided to install TWRP onto my phone using tye latest video from Munchy. I then decided to download Magisk and rooted my device following all his instructions and now my phone is stuck in a bootloop. Finally I tried to go back into TWRP but it won't go back and everytime I try it just vibrates and then goes back to trying to open backup.
If you have any questions regarding solutions to this please ask I haven't been able to shut my phone down to goto TWRP.

When you say fastboot to miui you just mean power button and volume down then following the steps again of installing TWRP again, right?

Use miflash to flash back miui, then start all over again
Phone is a ginko variant Redmi Note 8, running the PixelOs rom.
It's been running fine for about 2 months now without issue until today.
This morning after using it briefly, it was placed in my pocket. About an hour later I removed it to find the screen black but lit up.
Power cycling the phone resulted in it getting to the boot screen (Google logo with loading bar) where it sits indefinitely. The bar at the bottom is animated, so it's not frozen per say.
If I try to reboot to recover(OrangeFox) it shows the Orange booting screen, and sits there.
I have tried flashing several other orangefox recovery's as well as 2 different TWRP recoveries with the same result, they display the startup screen and then hang there.
Any suggestions?

Bro I am afraid you'll have to install the whole firmware again and it will boot into MIUI. You need to flash it with the help of Mi Flash and be in the Fastboot mode and also it will erase all the data. and then you can install the custom recovery again and after installing MIUI and you can flash another ROM. Some AOSP Android 12 ROMs have this bug.

Managed to get it going again. I used fastboot to format the userdata partition and that seemed to fix it.
Interesting that some AOSP roms have this bug...I will have to do some research to avoid this in the future.
