My current Firmware states I9195XXUAMF5. I'm having issues with this FM I think, such as WiFi disconnects and lagging in games that shouldn't be lagging. I also had these problems on my previous S4 Mini that got replaced.
The newest FM at the moment seems to be MH5 but it's New Zealand region however I'm in the UK on T-Mobile/EE.
Is flashing this new firmware advisable to see if it fixes my issues?

I think that Samsung's "region lock" will not let you do that.
I flashed generic UK ROM (I9195XXUAMH2_I9195OXXAMH4_BTU) via Odin and all ok. No issues with Wi-Fi or signal.
i was able to flash india firmware on egypt region phone via odin.

I have also flashed different firmwares. Romania, Bulgaria, Greece without problems
Send from my GT-I9195
Hi guys,i am the owner of a Galaxy s4 Mini I9195(i don't think i have the Lte option) but i don't know wich update is for 4.4.2 and for this phone. It's bought in Romania and unlocked and the BB is I9195XXUBML4 .My question is,wich stock Rom is for me because software update shows i have up to date firmware? And if i flash it will my phone get locked on that specific carrier again?
You can flash any 4.4.2 firmware with odin
But if i flash any stock Rom from my country with Odin, won't my phone get carrier locked or something?Atm it's unlocked but i'm a bit too scared.
Are there any hardware differences? Can we cross flash HK with Indian firmware?
On Lg firmwares I see that the indian firmware has newer security patches...
Just installed Indian v10p but in software version it says v10p-LAO-Si.
What this LAO-SI means?
Another thing I observe is that this firmware is WAAAAY more snappy than the chinese one! Could the hong kong chinese firmware has some kind of spyware in it? Just cannot beleive how snappy and fluid this firmware is compared to the chinese one !!!!!!!!!
did you manage to anwser this questions??
is everything working ok with this indian firmware? i want to make the flash

Just upgraded a few days back to indian v10t feb 1 updates. Working flawless. Also they enabled usbc to hdmi. ?
I always expect China and rusian firmware to be full of spyware.
I am using A505F/DS in Saudi Arabia which is still under Samsung Warranty for next 24months
I would like to change my CSC to INDIA to get better support for updates and get them earliest etc.
Questions
1- Changing my CSC from Saudi Arabia void my warranty and Trip the KNOX?
2-Will it creat any problem in using the phone regards to carrier signals and other services provided (LTE VOLTE etc) in the area? I am using an unlocked version of the phone.
3-What are the maximum number of times I can change my CSC, In case if I want to return back to the original CSC of Saudi Arabia I can be done later on?
4-If changing CSC the AP will also be changed or not. they are interlinked to each other?
Please also provide the guide to changing CSC smoothly without voiding the warranty
Current
Saudi Arabia
AP: A505FDDU2ASG4
CSC: A505FOJM2ASG1
Changing to
India
AP: A505FDDU2ASH3
CSC: A505FODM2ASH3
Thank you

will it trip Knox or void warranty and I can revert back without any issues?
Questions
1- Changing my CSC from Saudi Arabia void my warranty and Trip the KNOX?
of course not if you use official samsung firmware
2-Will it creat any problem in using the phone regards to carrier signals and other services provided (LTE VOLTE etc) in the area? I am using an unlocked version of the phone.
not always but I don't think it will make any problem for you
3-What are the maximum number of times I can change my CSC, In case if I want to return back to the original CSC of Saudi Arabia I can be done later on?
there's no limitation for this , you can change as much as you want
4-If changing CSC the AP will also be changed or not. they are interlinked to each other?
yes it will be changed since the firmware has 4 files including AP
Please also provide the guide to changing CSC smoothly without voiding the warranty
1- Download the firmware from Sammobile for your a50 be attention to device model , I mean a505f , a505g ...etc
2- Download Odin and Install samsung usb drivers on your computer
3- Make sure you remove your sim cards before flashing and then restart your device and enter the Download Mode
3- Open Odin and then put the 4 files from firmware which you have downloaded from Sammobile to their places in AP,BL ,CP, CSC (choose the one without Home word)
4- Don't change any setting or configuration in Odin and then after assiging the 4 files , press Start and then everything will be okay after it finishes it will reboot the device by it own , just wait till it finishes and happy flashing

Yes you need to create a backup in your pc and then factory reset your phone before flashing a new firmware.

It wont trip knox as youre flashing official samsung firmware. It only trips when you try to install some unofficial firmware
