Bluetooth earphone music stutter - Samsung Galaxy A50 Questions & Answers

The music stutter on my sennheiser earphone while on the street. I already turned of battery optimization for bluetooth and music player and turned off wifi and bluetooth. Now it's better, only stutter about every 1 minutes while in my pocket. Any solution for this?

Without knowing what kind of codecs your headphones supports, this studder could be if you're using LDAC codec with 990kbps. Happens to me as well on various devices.
If you are, try change LDAC to balanced 660kbps or best effort.
OTherwise try different codec, like aptx, aac, sbc, depending on what codecs your headphones supports.

Bye default it's aptx and balanced. Changeing to sbc and 330 not solved the problem I have tried. And most importantly: the settings reset every time I reconnect my device.

Maximize Bluetooth Bandwith on S3 i747?

I have been searching around and I can't seem to find the answer. Is there a way to insure that the bandwidth on the Bluetooth audio connection is maximized?
I listen to lossless audio in my car (3 way active system) and I want to make sure the Bluetooth configuration is not throttling down the audio quality. I have seen where some developers of the other phones have messed with the settings within Android, but I couldn't find anything on the i747.
Thanks

Great question! I'm running CM10 night lies and the BT streaming quality is horrible. It sounds like the audio stream is compressed . I've tried several different music players as well as a EQ apps but nothing seems to fix the tinny sound

The bluetooth quality on AOKP is TERRIBLE. Sounds like it's coming out of a speaker I made in grade 11 physics class. (
Anyone found a fix yet?? Even increasing the Bluetooth MHZ in KTweaker yields no results.

Quiet Audio from MX Video Player? Volume Boost?

Hello,
I've been using MX Player to play some previously encoded videos from Handbrake. The issue I'm having is that the audio is a bit too quiet to comfortable listen to using earphones or the device speakers.
I've adjusted the gain in Handbrake and performed some tests but the problem is to achieve a loud enough volume the Audio track from the video becomes slightly distorted in places which is extremely unpleasant.
Is there a way to adjust the N7's maximum volume or maybe a separate app/settings that may boost the output volume?
I've left my handbrake settings at Gain +5 but I'd still like the volume a little louder if possible. I have also checked that once ading gain to the video encode it was definitely the audio track that was distorted rather than the N7's output being pushed too far. I used the same video files on other playback methods and the distortion was still present.
Thanks
Volume 16-30 in MX Player should be a boost. If you're using 30 volume in MX Player and it's very quiet there must be something wrong with the handbrake settings(?)

Is Settings, Audio, Volume Boost enabled?

I also think you have to use HW+ decoding to get the volume boost capability.

Get the Noozxoid custom codec somewhere in this forum. Great tone and volume, especially when you plug it aux or earphones!

Bluetooth audio: My experience, solution and still looking for suggestions.

Hello guys...
Since I have this phone and connect my True Wireless Earbuds, I notice low volume and quality specialty in the bass. I know that those earbuds are very limited, but I tried using an Equalizer. Almost all the apps in the play store are useless because they lowered the volume instead of increasing it. So, after looking for a while on the web, I found an app called Wavelet with some free and paid features, it is very useful if you are not Root and try to improve a little bit the Bluetooth audio.
But still, I'm not happy, because I came from a Snapdragon chipset and used to use "snapdragon audio +" equalizer and the audio was really great.
I read that is possible to install viper4Android and Dolby Atmos and a while ago tried to install some of these options, but I just got a slow device and fast battery drain.
¿Do you know any other option, idea, thread, .apk, method which could help me to improve my experience with the Bluetooth audio in my RN8Pro?
Regards!
Just buy Poweramp Music Player if you plan on local music playback else Wavelet is the only way to go I guess.

I think you should try NRG player if you want to tune the audio over bluetooth.

Problem with lhdc codec

Hi. i have a problem with lhdc codec and xiaomi wireless headphones 2. sometimes the sound stops and comes out on the speakers. and when viewing a page on Google Chrome when a video playing, Chrome crashes and quits on its own. With the aac and sbc codecs it works fine.
Other observations; the volume is very low at half and increases or decreases by several steps too quickly.

General Audio driver problems

So wanted to comment on this
First, this is the best phone I’ve ever owned, although its lacking in a couple of things i was used to (coming from a oneplus 9 that had a lot of settings compared to this one, still this is a waaaay better phone) the speed, screen size and battery life makes it all worth it
Though! I use a lot of external dacs through the usb c connector (main reason to have a big battery)
I’m finding some issues in the audio department:
Tidal mqa files are not being played if the dac doesnt have mqa decoding (normally they would play without issues in iPadOS and one ui/ oxygen os
Some dacs (specially ifi hifi link) will not play files until a mqa file is played, though any system sound will interrupt the communication with the dac, it can be fixed played any master quality track and then going back to flac/ hifi quality in tidal, YouTube doesn’t work at all with this dac.
Facebook and YouTube wont play audio sometimes,my theory is that the player goes for the oem 3.5 out instead of the dac. That could be fixed if we got an audio output selector in the notifications player, though the option is not available as the player plays as a simplified notification, so no audio selection is possible
Of course the 3.5 jack in this is quite nice but … usb c dacs are a bit better at handling hi res files and streaming and of course demanding headphones.
Sent already this to nubia. Hopefully there will be a work around, UAPP is a viable solution of course but the easiness to surf through playlists is better in the tidal app.
So anyway, anyone surfing for an answer: its in the developers hands
Just wanted to leave this in case anyone looking in the internet is looking for answers on this
No audio switch app works on android 13 (lesser audio switch, etc)
Although there’s work around for using the external dacs, it comes as a surprise the first times. Though the phone is a beast and i truly love the battery life and extended display, a couple of tweaks and this would be the best phone out there
Kinda figure it out. The DTS ultra app was the culprit, even if it showed the toggle off, it was turning on (and screwing the sound for me) , just disabled the "auto start" or link button on the app preferences. all audio is being processed by the external dac. At least YouTube and fb are working flawlessly so far
Update: Some dacs are still having issues with the mqa decoder, but the general audio is coming out of the usb c port at least.

Would you mind sending your DTS ultra app APK? It doesn't appear as an app for me and I cannot launch it, thanks!

Hi there. I had the same problem. But I was able to access my DTS Ultra app. It doesn't appear in my app drawer but I found the audio effects app for DTS Ultra using Activitylauncher from play store.
I could be wrong but I also noticed there is no way to EQ the speakers on the phone. The DTS Ultra app only shows up for headphones and gives the "Disconnect External Devices" error on speakers. I find the speakers to be good quality but slightly lacking in tuning, is there any way to perhaps tune them through 3rd party means? Thanks for the help.
