Has anyone tried any of these roms listing in this article?

They are all GSI roms, so not bug free, but you can try someone, not everything will work but it is a worth of try

I'm interested in installing the new linage rom for this phone . After reading from the download page I feel this rom may not work at all or even screw up my phone. Can someone give me some feed back ? Has anyone tried these roms on their phones yet?
Thanks

I haven't specifically tried LineageOS, but I've been running OctOS N for a couple of weeks. It uses a LineageOS 14.1 base, and I've had no problems at all with it.

Do you know if Google Duo works with OctOS N?
It's convenient, but not really necessary. But OctOS M always gives me a "unable to access camera" error that I could never get to go away, though I tried the various suggestions I'd found online.

Installed duo. It didn't get through the setup before it FCd on a camera error.
Open camera works for me. I haven't even tried to open the snapdragon camera or whatever it is that ships with the ROM.

Thank you for trying. I figured that would be the case. I appreciate the test and the report.

Motomods currently don't work with pantheon kernel. Everything else is the sane, minus the upstream patches and the features in pantheon which work fine except 230 MHz UC of the CPU. Will work on it this weekend.
between Lineage or AOSiP, which would you recommend @Uzephi?

That's on preference. I like the custom options of the owl's best in AOSiP personally

Ok so something curious happened to me, tried installing the invisiblek version of lineageOS on Twrp and now I hardbricked my cellphone. So now I just wasted $400 on a cellphone im not ever gonna use
Going to wait for a bit before I go ahead with rooting my phone as I have a Vodafone branded xt1789-06 international version. Don't want to risk bricking or loosing my IMEI as I made this mistake with my I9505. So I'm going to wait for some more development on my device.

Worked for me, so must have been how it was flashed. Did you flash the firmware files first for Nash? If not, you didn't flash right. A flash all fixed it for me when I forgot that.
I've been using linage for a few days now, I like how is a little more stable than AOSIP, and Moto mods work better on lineage, but I have a question, where can I see if the rom gets updated?
@Uzephi do you know if Lineage has been updated at all?

Audio work when recording video? That's really the only thing I'm waiting for on any of these ROMs before I flash. I have a motomod battery, so it's nice to know that'll work, but having audio while recording is way more important to me.

That's still an issue, I really don't record that many videos, so really not an issue for me.

Besides the normal LoS updates? None that I have seen on gerrit. You can always follow the development of LoS and our device by following their gerrit. I haven't checked it since two weeklies ago.

Link for our device specific additions, conflicts, abandons, etc.
Thanks for the reply, I found out that lineage takes advantage of Android seamless update, and I've been getting updates, just minor ones, but hopefully it'll be a fully working rom pretty soon.
I was using the build 20180515 from invisiblek and it was working very well. Today I installed the build 20180517 and the colours became funky and messy unfortunately, it cannot be used. I had to go back to the previous build.
Just sharing this here for you to know.
Scratch that, after a clean install it's all fine. No dirty flash from 0515 to 0517 then.

anyonw try mokee rom?

Any April t user try mokee. Anyone at all try it?
Actuality after reading this post I went and flashed it, It felt very buggy to me. I think it may be because I rebooted in between installing the ROM and installing gapps. I may give it another go just to see. If that is my issue it would be awesome to have a ROM that get updated so often.
My fav so far is Havoc, but requires additional vend after flashing sys. Also some buggy features to workout like recents

I am waiting for a reply to this thread as well. If someone tries please let us know.
UPDATE:
I got it to boot using AEX 5.8 vendor, but after setting up it keeps crashing and shutting down.

It needs device specific modifications I guess. We need devs to look on this rom.

Yes! I'm sure devs can find ways to get everything working, it'll be an awesome port for our device. I hope this happens

I have already looked on this, not only this but various other similar ports, including pie ones.
The major issue is camera, which seems near impossible to fix, so it won't make sense as we already have proper Oreo and nougat ports of this rom
and pie ports(both miui and oos/h2os) won't boot on our device without proper pie vendors, which our device don't have, the treble flag is disabled on treble pie roms, enabling it causes various crashes and makes rom boots but its unusable, waiting for senior devs to fix it or any workaround.

Thanks for seeing this post and replying. I think we can count on OOS Pie coming for the OP3 soon, it has the same chipset so it should be much easier to port

Why AOSP Rom Is Not Released

Android 10 AOSP rom is released even on many older devices. But there is not even official rom to our devices. What is the reason? Please somebody make a rom.

Bliss rom is unofficial. In addition, the developer does not make the kernel properly, there are cracks in the rom. Applications are freezing and closing.

And which apps didn't work? I use Bliss 12.2 as daily driver since I gor the phone (unlocked it on the first week lmao). I instlalled 78HZ mod and adjusted the kernel settings, for me now it's rock stable and I didn't know how can this phone be this fluid.. android auto doesnt work afaik, but that's all. And the new gcam works very well. I cna do sharp photos even at night.
