Just a simple question, really: is anyone working on or planning on working on a custom ROM that enables full substratum theming support?
You should post this in the Questions & Answers forum.

I just saw that the DNA just got support for multirom. I'm just wondering if it's possible on our phone? I would love to have the possibility to switch between a sense rom and an aosp rom!
It can be with some kernel modification and a recovery to go with it.

ROM with Multi window support
Hi all,
Been trying to look for a custom ROM with multi window support. I tried Omni rom, but I think I need to compile it myself - which I can't do at the moment. Can anyone suggest any flashable roms?
Cheers!
Yeah there are several out there. I use Gnabo ROM Port For Note 8 GT-N5110 now and am enjoying it. Check under the Android Development section in the Note 8 forum. The developers will let you know if their ROM supports Multi-Window.
Cheers, I'll check it out. I got some functionality using xposed and CM. But it's not quite as good as the stock.
So i've had my pixel for a good while now and I have yet to install a rom on it or even root it. I just recently got a physical sim since I read that all custom roms had issues with the esim so now that it have I'm curious about which rom I should try? Like which ones would be best for a daily driver and the such.

That means you are not updating to Pie because all the custom roms here are oreo based yet
If you want hell lot of features and customization try RR
If you don't want to use xposed try pixel dust
If you want best of both worlds try aquarios (my DD)
Cheers ?

Well I did update to pie but I wanted to try out some roms.
Sounds like I'll check out aquarios. Thanks.
I've been using nitrogen and I love it!

I was just thinking about how I like MIUI and was wondering if any developers were planning to try it out.

From the treble forums, erfan managed to get a bunch of roms working on AB systems, even the miui.
You can find in the download section in the OP. Just not sure how much stable they are, but you can try it.

Hi,
The best ROM \ Kernel, is the one that suits you best.
Check the development section, read a few threads and install one. If you don't like it, switch to another one and so on...
I'm using Dirty Unicorns on Pixel XL 1, 2, 3. It has everything "I" want.
Custom Kernel: Dirty Unicorns kernel is great, but I use ElementalX for High brightness mode and KCAL / KLAPSE features.
But this is personal tastes. :good:
Cheers...
Sébastien.
