Hi,
After pie update am unable to connect my phone with lg bridge. Anyone else have the same issue? I'm allowed to restore update with lg bridge but still afterwards it's still give on phone connected. I'm unable to make a backup on my pc now. Can't figure out if it's the phone or lg bridge problem.
I cannot get LG Bridge to work AT ALL on my Sprint LG G7 ThinQ.
I have it on MTP device but when I check for software update it says it needs to be connected to USB, which it is.
The computer has the correct drivers but doesn't recognize it on the LG app.

So im not alone. I got unlocked EU version, I did install all drivers to. I try to connect with every usb mode so maybe lg bridge is after pie not support and they need to fix that to.

I've got an LG G3 by US Cellular (US990) that I'm trying to downgrade using LG Flash Tool. The problem is that it's not being recognized by Flash Tool or by LG PC Suite for some reason. When I plug it in in normal Android it recognizes it whether it be charging, MTP or PTP. But when I go into download mode these programs do not recognize it and so I can't flash anything. Anyone had any similar problems or anything I can try? I have installed the drivers multiple times and I'm on Windows 7 64 bit. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks!

Have you changed the com port yet? If not, set it to 41.
No I haven't, how would I go about doing that?

I followed the instructions to the T. I installed the drivers, changed theport to COM41 on the LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port, downloaded the stock rom and DLL and everything is fine until i unplug then plug back in. Nothing happens. No Waiting for Connection message, nothing. Trying to fix a boot loop!
Tried doing the KDZ method, errors out at 4% and now I'm without a phone unless I can figure this issue out. No flashing is working what so ever.
What carrier are you on?
It's a Sprint variant.
I have the Sprint and it wasn't working because I had pressed Upgrade DL and not Board DL. Try that otherwise I don't know what's wrong.

Already tried that.
Does it go to the firmware update screen?

Make sure that your com port is still set at 41. When I had this issue I fixed it by going into device manager while LG flashtool was running (after plugging the micro usb back in to my phone) and changing the com port to any other port then right back to 41 and the flash tool started working. I don't know if it will help or not, but it worked for me.
Are you using windows 8? If so you need to disable driver signature enforcement ( can't post links, but google it ). Or like i did use a computer with windows 7 .
I had windows 8 and it worked just fine.

Hope you got your issue fixed mate! If not.. while the phone is in Download mode, restart your pc with the phone plugged into the computer.. after your computer reboots, reinstall all drivers and adjust the port to COM41 under Device Manager.. then run the LG Flash Tool again.. It's just a simple but very annoying connection problem... Good luck :good:
I'm in a bit of a pickle...
Phone is dead, I'm unable to wake it using any method, however PC sees the device being connected. I have tried to restore TWRP backup which was completed correctly but then phone stuck and failed to wake up again. I have tried to unbrick it using the LG flash tool and dll +tot files however this method fails each time -with factory model check error - and download fail notification. Right now im waiting for kdz file to download (im using the tool checking my imei to select correct one) but it takes ages with my internet.
Anyone has any ideas? Am i doomed?
Hi
Happened to me also. I got out of it by using LG flash tool and clicking on options and selecting restore recovery. It puts it back to stock and you then need to reroot etc.

Options? On mainstream there isn't any. Is it on the 2nd screen after adding the kdz?
Current progress
Phone:
No download mode
No boot on the phone
Device acts dead - only visible on my pc (serial port LGE)
PID and IMEI not available to read using LG flash tool 2014
Tried
Loading KDZ file - connection failed
using tot and dll with flash tool - Failed to connect to device
Read something about laf.img using adb... Anyone has any other ideas? Funny enough when I was searching forums I was not able to find more info about cases when device is not waking up at all. but now i see few very similar threads around? Possible flaw somewhere?

Thank God it is showing a serial port, try flashing with LG tools 2014, let me find a fix for your download error...
EDIT: Is your phone by any chance plugged into a usb 3.0 port? If yes then please plug it in a usb 2.0 port and try again...
I hope you are right. Screens hots should be updated same link:

It might be the PC (work pc at the moment and some IT limitations on it) however drivers installed ok, software confirms that I have latest software on my device - when phone is connected to the pc. After running Recovery Upgreade, it gets problem with comunication between the pc and mobile. in troubleshooting asks to power on the mobile (which I cannot do) before retrying. Also I have installed LG usb driver from outside as options coming with this software seem to be for really old models?
A thing I tried with another G3 was to connect the phone to the PC without the battery and then insert the battery, disconnect from phone and then remove battery again then insert and hold volume up and connect the USB to the phone again and it went into download mode and allowed the use of LG support tool as before.
Its worth a try!!

No dice... so far. I'm back home in 2 days when i can try all of this again making sure that PC is not restricted from any functionality... although it does sucks to not to have a phone until then. If you get any ideas I'm happy to try it as well.. as not like i have anything to lose at this point.
My H815 after flashing twrp via ADB got bootloop. I only get LG logo and led blinking. I'm on the V20A. Bootloader unlocked. Download mode works. Any help?
Like a lot of users mate .myself included ...we just gotta sit and wait till flashtool gets updated or maybe a tot& DLL files to be released ...in till then I've found out there is nothing we can do

how?
1. I've installed LG Bridge with all USB drivers.
2. Powered off G4 connected to PC by usb cable, it turned on automaticly.
3. LG Bridge can recognise phone when it has bootloop, it has not to be full powered on.
4. I've tried to update phone, but not successfully. It said that phone is up to date.
5. So i took troubleshooting option( not sure how it is called in english version of LG Bridge but you will find it)
6. LG Bridge have installed Marshmallow again, even without any data loss.
7. Phone is alive again after more than hour of updating (!)
8. Be happy
Will try on my h815 tomorrow morning when I get in from work

This didn't work for me. LG Bridge just says the phone has to be in MTP mode to accept connection or something. And then says it's not connected. Any clues?

Well. LGUP seems to have done the trick! Thanks for that info. It seems LG Bridge couldn't connect because the MTP driver failed to install with the phone. All other drivers installed correctly though.

Hi folks,
I want to restor my LG G3 D851 phone to stock using lg flash tool to kdz/tot but i can't because my computer is not registering my device while in download mode (new device connection does not pop up, like if the device wasn't connected to the PC). Also, there is no sign of the device under device manager, so i don't know what to do. Any help is highly appreciated. I already tested with different driver versions and different cables with no luck.
Please, somebody help me!

Hi, OI am having exactly the same problem. I've done it dozens of times. In my LG G3, and in many other phones. But suddenly, after a factory reset, my international LG G3 refuses to connect to my PC, both in download mode and when it´s on. No sound from the PC. Anyone any ideas? Thanks
