How can I completely disable battery optimisation? I already turned off but widgets with clock still at least 2 minutes late. Also the mi band app send notifications late, not immediately.
Disable app optimisation for that certain app.

I've blocked the phone and the calendar apps but I still get notifications about calls (accept/reject) and calendar reminders. How do I completely block these apps on my watch?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using XDA Free mobile app
I would like to block the alarm too. I added the clock to blocked apps and Sucker still buzz the crap out of the watch. Want it to stop and don't see a way to do that.
Anyone can help here? I freaking hate my phone alarm buzzing the crap out of my watch. There is NO need for my watch to buzz when my phone alarm goes off. I've put the clock under blocked apps and still it buzzes.
You can go into the Wear app and disable notifications from specific apps. Maybe that will help.
I just hate the constant Google notifications every 5 minutes that has the weather and stocks and whatever else it includes. Somewhere should be a setting to do it once per day or like every 6 hours or something. I swear I dismiss it constantly. With the disconnect issue threads, I am hoping it isn't a standard reconnect procedure to throw up the notification every time.
Also the incoming call will be good once the speaker is activated in the next update
I already have it blocked if that's what you mean. Doesn't work. Already mentioned that in my previous comment.
Hi all,
can someone help me with the error I got on a regular basis (see attachment), each 2 or 3 days the notifications stop coming to the watch, when I check the Health app I got the error "system error, notifications not available please restart your phone"
I restart the phone then it works again.
I'm using Xiaomi Mi 9 phone with MIUI global 11.0.6 stable.
the screenshot was taken with the beta app but its the same with official health app as well.

thanks !
Same problem using mi 9t pro and Huawei band
Did you change the Battery Saver option under Settings>Apps>Manage Apps>Health from Battery Saver to no restrictions?
Also having this problem and have same phone (mi 9). The health app is set to no restrictions for battery
I have this problem too. Health app without restrictions for battery, enabled to display notifications. When I delete the data (data + cache) of the health app, reconnect with watch gt 2, turn on the notifications again, then the watch receives the notifications until next bluetooth disconnect. When phone and watch reconnect automatically (because return into Bluetooth range), the notifications will not pushed on the watch anymore.
I have found how to fix that Problem: switch on and confirm DND on the watch and after this switch off DND. Of course, all other settings must also be correct: Health app enabled for notifications, autostart and no limit on energy consumption.
Hello all,
I have recently come back to Android from iPhone.
I am having delayed push notifications specifically from my Reolink wireless security camera.
Currently working with Reolink Support and have tried the following with no luck:
Solution: Please avoid turning on the Battery Saver Mode when using Reolink App.
Solution: Go to Apps -> Configure apps -> Battery optimization -> All apps, and then disable battery optimization for the Reolink App.
Solution: Please avoid closing the Reolink App or lock the Reolink App before closing the background process.
Solution: Use the Push Notifications Fixer app. <-Set to 5 minutes (recomended).
My notifications are coming in about 10-15 minutes late, which is not very helpful for security camera.
Any suggestions would be Greatly Appreciated !!!
Thanks.
i did observe same in gmail push !
I got pixel phone + gsuite payed gmail
notification was about 6-15min delay when phone was in deep sleep
I can confirmed that on iphone was wroking. properly , in time .
I get delays sometimes with Whatsapp, ebay, and paypal apps.
What frustrates me sometimes is that my Galaxy Watch sometimes stops notifications for the Samsung Email app (used for work email). Notification will show on the phone, but appears sometimes instant, sometimes delayed 5 mins, or never at all. Reboot of phone and watch does not fix it, i have to turn off the notification in Galaxy Wearable app, reboot, and re-add the notification.
I have Battery Management set to High Performance, as i do not want apps put to sleep etc.
Hi there,
It looks like my phone is not "working" when in idle. For example, I need to open my Gmail app to update my email. When I get a sound notification for a supposedly new email, it's usually a 1 or 2 hours email.
Is there a setting I changed by mistake? Do you guys encounter this issue?
Thx guys
MIUI has quite aggressive doze by default, but it doesn't impact Gmail for me. Some apps might need toggling these settings:
1. enable autostart in app info
2. lock app in memory in recents screen
3. disable battery optimization in app info
But I would suspect that you have enabled Battery saver function - make sure that it's off (search for it in system settings).
Hi,
Gmail app is not listed in the menu where I can adjust the way the battery acts with it
And no, my battery saver is not activated
Still digging... if I don't reply back in several days, I may be completely lost into my hole
I have been having a weird issue with my alarm clock widget, Google ambient mode and slide down notification panel. In all three places the alarm clock shows an incorrect value. It displays as it will ring always 40 minutes past the current hour despite I have only one alarm clock set in the morning.
I have had the Global ROM which I have just flashed with European ROM but the issue is still there.
Are you using stock Clock app or a third party alarm app? Make sure battery optimization is set to "don't optimize" and that it has permission to use background data.

I am using a stock one. Perhaps I should add that along with the alarm clock issue I have had another weird issue that the Ebay app had been firing up every hour exactly 40 minutes past the hour - that issue has gone since I reinstalled the firmware.
Ok I figured that out. It turned out the issue was caused by a few tasker profiles. One profile was set to run every hour and the other was set to run every night 23.40. I have temporarily switched the profiles off and now the alarm clock shows the correct values. I am still not sure whether this is an OxygenOS Launcher or Tasker bug?
