Hello,
What is your 4G internet speed ?
How can I check if the internet speed is good ?
speed is good enough but Signal is so poor. go to speedtest.net to check your speed
i get a high ping on this phone like 172ms on mobile legends (ultra data saver is on, blocked all other apps from using bandwidth), area is 2 signal bars while oppo is 32ms on the same area..im thinking oppo has better 4g components?
For me the 4g is working great, have a very stable signal
crappy phone high ping on online games what a piece of junk

What is the best way to test the 3G speed of the phone? I'm about 2hrs away from 4G, so 3G is all I've got and my last phone was only 2G. I've no idea how 3G should operate in my area and wanted to test it.

many people myself included are getting very slow speeds and often losing data all together
Download an app called "Speed Test" by Ookla and it will test your network speed.
Is it normal for the HTC Wildfire S to have slow data speeds or could it be because of my area? I rarely get speeds much above 2Mbps. The data speed I get on 3 UK is around 1.4Mbps average and the connection keeps dropping. I get almost full signal so that shouldn't be the cause. The speed often goes really slow at peak times. Does anyone else have speeds this slow or are they much faster?
Disabled 2g

What is your connection now? 3G or GPRS,
In options tried to select Inalambric Conections, the mobile data or similar and be sure that "Only use 2G nets" are disabled, if it isn't disabled it can be a solutiion...

I have the Network Mode on WCDMA only. I get slow download speeds most of the time even though it's showing the H symbol and doesn't matter what network I use. Is there a trick for getting faster data speeds by editing the build.prop file or something?
In many areas Three doesn't provide a GSM service, and in others it is out-sourced to Orange's network. Even though you may be connected to their HSDPA (WCDMA) service the speed is entirely dependant on the signal level. The speed is also dependant on the time of day, obviously the network is going to be more congested during peak times.
I usually get a download speed of around 350kB/s (2.8Mbps).
To be honest your speed doesn't sound that bad, and if you want a much faster experience you're going to have to get a phone that supports HSPA+.
The speeds I now get are always absolutely rubbish. I nearly always get below 0.5Mbps on Orange. 3 aren't much better. Below 1Mbps most of the time.
Can someone care to please explain what makes some towers that I connect to have very fast LTE speeds but some like my home area pretty slow?
I am aware signal strength plays a part as well as congestion. Is there anything else that can effect LTE speeds?
In my house I connect at around -109dB strength and pull around 7-9 download and around 1-4 upload during my tests.
What do you guys get off WiFi network speeds? I've done several speed tests coming in at on average 1.5mbs... Says 4glte on top but damn..... Att was better than this.
4g or wifi?? 4g, in my area, verizon has been garbage lately getting speeds like 0.5mbps... outta nowhere tho they got better.. and now with my note they're even better than my g2..gettinf like 20 here

i'm sorry, but mine are fantastic..
Just used the speedtest.net app and on wifi I got 22.58mbps down/2.43 mbps up and on 4G I got 76.62mbps down/34.97 mbps up. These were taken at my house and I never use wifi at home because why would I (still have unlimited data plan). And I live in Alabama!
I get about 12.3Mpbs at my house on LTE. Speeds arent really what concerns me because they'll always fluctuate depending on your location.
What I'm liking on this phone is how good the radios are. It seems to always have a solid signal and doesnt drop hardly at all.
I got 118Mbps with the download booster on the other day while downloading some language packs... 100mbps on wireless and 18mpbs on LTE.
The radios in this phone are excellent IMO.
My internet hovers around 84/86 mbps, I don't think my router support that speed so it hovers around 46/44 mbps. I have Verizon Fios 75/75. As for LTE it's around 35/15 in my area (D.C.).
On wifi i saw 19.30 up/down 25ms latency; on mobile 9.8 up/23 down with 58ms latency

Due to wifi issues at home I have been forced to rely on mobile data a lot more this last week.
I am in an apartment block, and the mobile connection has always been quite average, presumably due to the building's steel framework.
Have any other 20x 5g users on here compared the 5g speeds and connection speed etc. with a 2022 phone? If it differed much? Or if you know of any web resource that have compared connection speeds (not necessarily max rates, just the ability to get online even at low speed quickly) in this way? Thx
