Finger print sensor and glass screen protectors? - Samsung Galaxy A50 Questions & Answers

Looking at the A50
Has the under screen finger print sensor
Does the finger print sensor play nice with glass screen protectors?

I have one from ebay on mine and it works fine

Mine works fine with cheap glass ones from Amazon, just had to rescan fingerprints

About the same, I'm using nillkin tempered glass + touch sensitivity on

I bought from Glazedinc in India, evem being such a big branded company, the touch sensitivity and fp scanner hav slowed. Touch sensitivity can be enhanced but fp has to be used this way

With glass or without A50 FB sensor is s**t. There are many topics about that on this forum

Screen Protectors

Hey,
Who here has a screen protector on thier pda/phone?
If so what recommendations do you have?
When you have a screen protector applied, does it go right to the edge of the screen so that you can hardly see it?
Does the touch screen still work as well as if the screen protector wasn't there?
Do finger prints show up on the screen protector?
Do the stylus do any damage to the screen protector?
I am thinking of purchasing the invisble shield for my HTC 8525 and i was wandering if anyone has any reviews about it?
Cheers
Just purchased a few from ShieldZone!
Should be getting them in 3 weeks!!!
Screenprotectors are great!
I'm very pleased with Brando screen protectors: Ultra clear (Universal) and anti glare (Hermes, Kaiser) for TomTom navigation in the car
After 2 years of use no scratches or other optical damage. Cheap and excellent. Easy to apply.

[Q] Martin Fields Overlay Plus Screen Protector (Samsung Galaxy S II i9100)?

Has any one tried the Martin Fields Overlay Plus Screen Protector (Samsung Galaxy S II i9100)?
In particular the camera screen protector?
I'm currently using one. The screen protector is good, no grainy effect, very clear, and you won't even notice its there. The front camera(2MP) and sensors are also protected, the sensors are still functional (proximity sensor when on call). The only exposed areas are the earpiece and home button.
As for the back(8MP) camera protector, unfortunately I ruined it. As its very small, it fell on the floor while I was trying to remove the plastic layer.
Its con though is that the screen protector is a finger print magnet. XD Its worse than bare screen.
what protector would you recommend?

and at the same time less fingerprint and smudges on screen..hate those matte type now..

Good screen protector?

So, I just got a glass screen protector for my red magic 5g, but after applying it and re-inputting my fingerprint, I found that the fingerprint scanner is quite a bit less consistent than when it just had the included plastic screen protector.
So, for those who have tried them, which glass screen protector still works well with the in-screen fingerprint scanner? And could you link them in this post?
I honestly don't think the screen protector makes the fingerprint scanner any better or worse, in my opinions. It's just very poorly calibrated.
Still, as the phone suggests, you should try getting the official screen protector for it: https://www.nubiamart.com/original-...d-glass-protective-film-screen-protector.html

Tempered glass screen protector that works with the fingerprint reader on the s21

Which Tempered glass screen protector that works with the fingerprint reader on the s21
I know this has been discussed pretty extensively. I have tried the SuperShieldz tempered glass. By raising sensitivity and reregistering my fingerprints I was able to get it to work sporadically. I switched to the Zagg Glass Fusion and after reregistering my fingerprints, it works pretty much as good as without a screen protector. The only issue with the Zagg is that it is not Tempered glass but rather "hybrid glass". The first one peeled on one corner (my fault because I played with it) but since the replacement, I have had no issues and love it.
Hello,
Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit works ok for me - not as good as without glass, but ok.
Best regards,
Hendrik

Tempered glass screen protector and fingerprint reader - any luck anyone?

Tried two different tempered glass screen protector s with my S20 5G - one claiming to allow the fingerprint reader to work.
Neither work as it seems that the distance from the finger to the reader is too far (when trying to set up a fingerprint it only shows a small section, around 30%, of the print in the centre, and not enough to store/recognise it.
Has anyone found one that actually work.
PS: I have a tendency to drop my phone, so am only after a tempered glass one - I would hazard a guess that the problem does not exists with a silicon protector.
