1 : Yes
2 : Alarm, stopwatch, timer, calculator, and all app with text (note) data (all this are stored in memory) : notification history, Evernote, Smartnote....
3 : Yes you have time for most of face time widget or standard face
4 : Must press power button to activate screen and use smart button
OR
Use app/face wich keep screen activated like some NeFa Studio face_app with screen always active and smart button stay active, or also with Wearable Widget / Zooper Widget.
1. yes it will still show time
2. too many apps to mention in a single post, but most are notification and watchface oriented
3. normally the watch syncs with the phone to set the date/time, but you can also set it manually, if you disconnect after syncing, it will still show the correct date/time
4. you have to press the power button to access the menu (twice, in fact)
Whats the functionality of the watch without any phone? I assume its very limited
Hours, Alarms, Stopwatch, Timer, calculator and all note app Evernote, Smartnote.... and notification history.

Fb extension
Fb smart extension not working on my Sony sw2 can u help me pls..
Fb do not work since awhile. Fb changed his notification system and now do not permit 3rd app to read his notification system. Many many..... app with Fb notification do not works now
So I set the phone to silent with the toggle and a timer option popped up. I hate popups so I checked don't show again....then I thought that may be a good feature since I sometimes forget to unsilence it. I searched through all the settings and can't find a way to bring this popup back. The options menu under the icon has nothing.
I'm looking for a way to disable the function based on accelerometer for turning on the display by the wirst.
I'd like to bring the display just by tapping or pressing the button.
I've set display always on and gestures off.
Is there a way to disable the accelerometer?

To start - I do know that there are several ways to prevent lock screen notifications.
1) In the main Notifications settings I have options for "On the lock screen":
- "Show all notification content"
- "Don't show notifications at all"
Of course this is all or nothing, so it isn't really very flexible.
2) Then, if I turn on Power notification controls I can set an app to "Level 2" which includes:
- Prevent full screen interruption
- Never peek
- Never make sound or vibrate
- Hide from lock screen
- Show at the bottom of the notification list
However this is almost totally useless as if I choose to restrict an app to Level 2 because I don't want it on the lock screen, I lose the ability for those notification to have any real type of visibility outside of the lock screen.
It appears that stock N has a switch for each app to control whether that app can show notification on the lock screen or not. Here is one such example.
This is very problematic for an app such as Gmail (or any mail app). I want my e-mail notifications to always make a sound/vibrate, etc...but I don't want the details of the e-mails to show in the lockscreen.
Now I have noticed that if I set a lockscreen with a secure option (other than "swipe"), that there is an option to hide notifications with secure content. In this case, my mail notifications show up without details and simply say "content hidden."
This last option gets me a reasonable result, but it requires me to set a secure lock screen. I realize that without a secure lockscreen anyone can simply open your phone and read the e-mail anyway...but it would be very nice to have the options from stock N that simply allow you to disable a particular app's ability to just show on the lock screen.
Ideas?
You must not of understood the settings. What you mentioned was exactly what your trying to achieve.

That setting is applied per app and would disable notifications from that app on the lock screen.
Update:
I think I see the confusion. Your accessing the Global Notifications settings and not individually selecting the app before changing that setting. The one you found controls all Notifications. Go into the app like this and change the setting per app.
(GOTO Settings>Notifications>Select App you want and then set On the Lock Screen to Do not show notifications at all(on the lock screen, this app only))
Correct me if I'm wrong but you just want no notifications from a particular app, only on the lock screen but want normal notifications to work while it's not locked. This would achieve that.
Yup, like the title of the thread says.

Thank you
I meant the pop up notification, or toast message I believe. Yes I can swipe it, I know, but I programmed do not disturb, so I don't want to be notified via a pop up message
an update
I disabled the status bar icon as instructed above, but the system ui notification still popped up when DND is turned on.
When the system notification pops up, try:
Press and release the notification, it may shift right and you'll see a gear symbol and trash can.
Click the gear symbol, there maybe an option in there to disable notification

Nope Andy, there's no way to turn it off.
AutoNotification. It works perfect for blocking the notifications you choose!
Maybe this can help you?
Remove NFC and Other Status Bar Icons Without Root [needs ADB][Marshmallow only]

I don't see the icon listed tho so I'm not sure if this can be applied for your case.
Btw I once tried this on Android 9 and it still worked so I assume this still works

Go to Settings, Notifications, App Notifications, choose "show system apps", select System UI app, toggle off Do Not Disturb notifications options there

Thank you, but it is grayed out so I cannot toggle it off.
I just re-read the setting, and it's for blocking notifications while DND is on, and not to turn off the notification that DND is on.
There's got to be a way.
this worked for me
