Hi guys, I just got my Galaxy Tab S4, and I'm trying to see if it's officially supported by the Samsung Service.
Unfortunately I got only the serial number on the box and not the IMEI. Is there any way I can find it?
It's a Galaxy Tab S4 T830 (Wi-Fi only). I also don't have the dialer app.
Thanks!

I just get the serial number. No IMEI. I thought that since it's Wi-Fi only it doesn't have IMEI because there is no SIM tray?
Correct, no IMEI
There is no imei for a non GSM device. Meaning if it's not LTE there is no imei.
WiFi only ... no imei
Lte and WiFi... will have imei

Hi
I just moved to Thailand. I have an unlocked AT&T Galaxy S3 phone and it's working okay here with a Thai simcard to call and and use 2G network here but I can't get 3G to work. Any suggestions on what needs to be done to make the phone fully functional here?
Thanks

check your IMEI on the phone setting, if it says "0"
the solution for you might be this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801997
it worked for me
Hey guys,
I have picked myself up a Samsung Galaxy Nexus and have updated it to yakju JDQ39 from developer images.
Whenever I reboot the device everything loads OK except for the GSM network.
The SIM does connect to data connections OK, but shows no signal and cannot make calls.
Details are:
- does show IMEI
- does show Network name (O2-UK)
- does show signal strength (-75 dBm
- does show Mobile network type (HSDPA:8)
- shows Out of Service for Service Status
- Mobile network state shows: Connected
- does show My Phone Number
- IMEI SV: 01
- does obtain IP address
Baseband Version = I9250XXLJ1
Build Number = JDQ39
I'm really lost with this as everything seems to work, the mobile network does connect to data and browses internet fine - but it will not register on any Network Provider??
Just had a thought.........does this device work with GiffGaff using the micro-SIM ?
Currently I'm trying it with a micro-Sim + adaptor (maybe the SIM is the problem?)
Scratch that, just borrowed a full-sized SIM and it has the same issues
Try a different radio

Hey iLeopard, would there be any specific Radio you would recommend trying?
I have just obtained a full-sized SIM from my local O2 store and it shows the Phone Number in the status, but still no GSM cell connection...

LJ1 should be fine. Try LH1. Still, I don't believe radio firmware is the issue here, please check 'adb logcat -b radio'

Speak to your carrier, they should be able to?

Hey guys. Firstly im sorry about my poor english.
I have a T-mobile T999 s3 that has clone(fake) imei. (Its imei is copied from another old mobilephone)
It is working good with stock rom. But stock rom doesnt have turkish language in it.
I tried to install morelocale and language enabler apps from market but it didnt work.
Then i installed "CyanogenMod 10 Nightly Builds for SGH-T999" (it has turkish language) works good but i cant use 3g or hspda or hspda+ or 4g connections. (i only need 3g cus there is no 4g in turkey now) i tried to choose Only WCDMA-LTE in menu and i lost connection.
So i can only use Edge (2g) connection and its like turtle!
I read solutions of this thread but i didnt understand anything... I think my problem is different
(Note: I cant turn back to original imei because its blocked and doesnt work. so I have to use cloned imei)
(Note 2: Imei number is not 0)
(Note 3: tried another custom roms but didnt work)
What i have to do? Waiting for your helps. Thanks!

Why are you using i9300 apn settings for a t999, cause of your location? Any who think you're stuck with edge cause of the spoofed imei.

yes the location is same and i use same operator so i use same apn setting of my operator. am i doing wrong? what i have to do if im wrong?
it was connecting by 3g and higher speed before injecting fake imei. (with same apn settings) i think injecting imei with box causes that.
i dont know about these boxes that writes imei to mobiles. i just send my mobile to a technical service for imei.
addition: this problem looks like mine in the following link:
http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f286/3g-4g-problems-t999-after-imei-repair-1646874/
No wrong by that just curious. I don't know much about imei and stuff but I'm almost sure that you're out of options.

okay thanks...
anyone know how to fix this please
Call up ur operator and find out whether they have blocked 3g.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
Why are you not using the IMEI that was for the phone originally?
Cause what they said in the OP
-(Note: I cant turn back to original imei because its blocked and doesnt work. so I have to use cloned imei)

This is why he is stuck with what he has. Why he has to do this, cause he didn't pay the phone off, or it was reported stolen, and some other possibilities I'm sure.

what u guys think about boxes that writes/repairs imei to mobiles? i think the problem causes of boxes because they used box for write/repair imei.
in this link, there is something about boxes (nspro, z3x box) http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f286/3g-4g-problems-t999-after-imei-repair-1646874/
i think im going to try the way that explained in link. if there is no another better solution...
waiting for your helps. thanks again.
I'm not sure about a cloned IMEI but if youve (re)inserted a new IMEI and lost data on the network and the IMEI isnt being blocked, there is a process around that can help to clean QCN file from your NV backup (extracted with QPST) you could PM Motodefier, and he may be able to assist. He helped me out after my 4g LTE was lost when I manually reinserted my IMEI (bit not cloned) and got me back up and running and saved me a lot of hassle, he wont ask for it but make sure you drop a donation if he spends some time on fixing your issue. DEVS GOTTA EAT TOO!!
Hi there. I have a note 2 sgh-t889 and the problem is as follows. rooteo recently and he was lost imei so I ran out of network registration. ime can once again but still I do not register on the network and the signal bar, stays in a circle. baseband has its imei. I'm running 4.3 stockrom UCMK7. thank you for your help this solution.
Did you fix the IMEI? "ime once again" doesn't make sense and the baseband is separate. If you screwed up your IMEI you'll have to look for help elsewhere.
no. is the same imei repair that is behind the phone on the label. but still no signal and no network registred

Don't think that's a setting we can change. As far as i know that's set by the provider via sim card settings or when they provision the phone. It's possible a new sim card may fix the issue...
Did you contact the provider you are using and ask them to fix (or look into) it?
Had the same issue today. Couldn't get RCS working with EE Uk. Easy fix. Put your sim in an iPhone or blackberry, settings, phone, edit your phone number, save, remove sim. Put sim back in your and reboot. You'd have to do this for both sims if you're using 2 sims in your note 10+. Voila!
