I have a big problem with the interference in my HU. The interference is similar to a working hard drive.
What I have already done/checked:
1. When wifi is turned on, additional interference can be heard. I replaced the cable and added an external antenna na długim kablu - minimalnie pomogło.
2. I checked the RCA output and the high output - the same interference can be heard on both of them.
3. When I touch the screen, there is no additional interference.
4. In factory setting
- I set it to -15 for RCA.
- changing the settings in the "voice" tab did not reduce the interference.
5. Connecting a USB memory stick causes even more interference.
6. HU has exactly take the same interference outside the car as it is connected to the DC adapter.
Please help me
Can anybody help me ?
Helo I'm having a similar issue. I'll check to make sure no rca connections are near any power wires behind your dash and if you have a amplifier make sure your rcas aren't near your amp power connections
Maybe this sound mod helps?

Hey everybody, my friend recently gave me his old yamaha receiver. the model is RX-V2095. I got the speakers to work but it only works when the effect [on] mode on the receiver is turned on. Problem is it sounds extremely bad and i would like to adjust my own bass and treble settings. im using a rca female cable and connecting a 3.5mm jack from my phone to the end of the rca cables which are connected to my receiver.
this will be very hard to help over the internet but i will give it a try.
Here is the user manual for the device:
http://download.yamaha.com/api/asset/file/?language=en&site=usa.yamaha.com&asset_id=856
You have the correct output set as CD. But i noticed on the front for line out record it shows CD. I would rotate that knob so its pointing up (remote select)
i noticed that you are using channel A and B. Do you have 2 sets of speakers plugged in? If not, i would suggest turning off one channel A or B which ever is not in use. (older receivers might split power between the channels when both are set to on)
you will also need to take it out of "surround mode" and put it on stereo mode. this will remove most effects and you should be able to control EQ with the knobs in front.

Thanks you, i figured most of it out but i don't have the remote to change those settings and set the speakers to small to allow my subwoofer to play. Does best buy have anything that will work with this as a remote?

Your phone has an IR blaster and there are some apps in market that could do it.
I have a Logitech harmony 650 remote that controls my sony receiver. you could check their website out and see if itll work for you.
I have experienced substantial static noise on my Sprint variant of the Samsung Note 7 when using headphone jack to Aux in my car stereo. The static's volume was substantial and made listening to music unbearable. I was thoroughly disappointed that this brand new phone sounded like garbage, and thinking it was a hardware defect and considered returning the phone. I decided to troubleshoot this problem, and found an odd solution, odd because it seems to be a software issue. So, while my phone was streaming music and producing static while plugged into the Aux car stereo, I jumped into settings and toggled on the 'UHQ upscaler' found in 'sound quality and effects' at bottom of sound settings menu. (( Settings > Sounds > (Advanced) Sound quality and effects > UHQ upscaler )) Toggling this switch immediately got rid of the static issue... even after turning the toggle back to off.
Static / White noise Experience Continued....
So, while listening to static free music via Aux cable to car stereo, a call comes in through phone app, static immediately resumes as phone app takes over sound settings. I answer the call and static continues to come through car speakers obscuring the caller's voice. (no, this is not static from a microphone / speaker feedback loop) So, I unplug aux cord and place phone against ear the old fashion way. When call is about to end, I plug Aux cable back into phone, static resumes until phone call ends (phone app releases control of sound) at which point music resumes playing without static.
Troubleshooting methods tried while figuring out static via Aux cable to car stereo:
- plugging in various Aux Cables ( no effect )
- unplugging charging cable while listening to music ( no effect )
- playing music on Note 7 to home stereo via 3.5mm to RCA cable ( Did not produce static )
- toggling UHQ upscaler (( eliminated static via Aux cable to car stereo after toggling on (or off, after it has first been toggled on), static returned for duration of native phone app call and disappeared after call was over ))
I find this issue to be quite odd, seems like it is some sort of software issue... Is anyone else experiencing this or something similar?
STATIC!!!!!
Edit: After doing some more research found that the galaxy S7 and S7 edge suffer from same problem. Workarounds include toggling UHQ upscaler ( Settings > Sounds > (Advanced) Sound quality and effects > UHQ upscaler ) and/or purchasing a Ground Loop Noise Isolator...
The sound on my note 7 is fing horrible especially on the aux line out, the bass and treble is so muddy. i don't get near the clean volume or loudness like I do out of my note 7 compared to my iPhone 6s even over Bluetooth. I'm wondering if there's a volume protection setting on the note 7 I'm not seeing because even my UE mini boom sounds louder and better over Bluetooth with my iPhone.
Galaxy 8 hissing noise
My Galaxy 8 makes a huge hissing noise when I hook the audio jack to an external speaker with the 3.5mm plug.
Samsung engineers are incompetant.
Samsung brags about all these hundreds of "features" on this $650 phone and THEY CAN'T EVEN GET GOOD AUDIO OUT OF IT.
Hey guys,
I just bought a new unit and have had fun installing/setting it up. But I've run into a few problems/questions that I can not easily solve from searching. I'm hoping for some help. I appreciate any insight that can be provided!
purchased:
MTCB 800x480 (EONON GA2114)
1.) I can't get the reverse camera to work
My previous head unit was the Astroid Parrot Smart and my backkup camera was working. I've setup my MTCB as follows: HU reverse wire to reverse light 12v & HU "cam in" to camera's RCA plug. I'm experiencing: when I put in reverse gear, I get a yellow triangle exclimation point and no proper video. Could this be becuase I have not grounded the HU parking wire (everything else is working properly without having to do that. Is there a setting somewhere I need to change?... pal vs ntsc?
2. ODBD not working correctly.
I can connect to it in bluetooth settings but Torque can not connect to it. I do have blue OBDB icon that appears in the taskbar
3. Keypress (for the physical hardware buttons) volume is too loud
even if I have the radio volume turned all the way down
4. music volume is too loud when volume set at one
With the volume of music at it's lowest setting, it's at a normal listening level.
5. Elements in Settings disappeared
It's just gone. I can't change the physical button colors any more. It was there before.
6. Saved radio stations.
After a scan is complete.... I can't figure out how to reorganize the order of stations.... or even delete the unwanted presets
7. Best way to automate wifi hotspot?
Should I set a tasker action to start hotspot upon bluetooth connect to unit? I sometimes have bluetooth manually turned off though. ... what's everyones solution to this? I though about a NFC sticker placed on my phone dock to automate bluetooth/hotspot.

When you say parking wire I assume you mean park brake wire. The park brake wire has nothing to do with reverse video. It is suppose
to turn off DVD video during driving. Which can be changed in settings BTW. Exclamation point normally means no video. Are you sure
you used the right input and that your camera is providing video? Test your camera on a normal video in and verify if you get a picture.
Also verify that your reverse camera gets 12 volt when selected.
SO I'm sitting her pulling my hair out trying to figure out why I can't get a reverse camera to work. I have a 2013 WRX STi with a Dasaita TDA7850 MAX6. I have everything wired up and working except for the reverse camera. I believe the camera is an aftermarket one from the previous owner. The cables coming from the reverse camera are Yellow RCA, Red power, and black ground. The ground is ..well grounded and the RCA is plugged into the CAM VIN RCA input on the head unit. When I plug the power into a 12v source I can manually view the camera so I know it is receiving power and working.
I have also run a wire from the reverse lights and plugged it into the wire labeled "Reverse" on the head unit(pin number 2). But no matter what happens the head unit won't automatically switch to the feed.
I have also tried doing a 3-way connection between the head unit reverse wire, power wire for the camera, and reverse light wire. This setup turns the camera off when reverse is not on but still won't auto-switch to the reverse camera when the car is put in gear.
I am not against buying a different reverse camera because they're relatively cheap but I feel like the issue I am having is not related to the camera itself but either software or hardware on the head unit not detecting the 12v reverse wiring. I have verified with a multi-meter the reverse light wire provides ~11.8 volts when put in reverse.
Anyone with similar issues previously? Am I just missing a software setting or did I make a dumb mistake in the wiring?
There are settings for the reverse camera also in Factory settings menu.
Check there if reverse signal might be set to disabled.

Thank you SO much for pointing out what I should have already known. This fixed it!! The wording in the factory settings was some really bad double negative english.

Hi,
I have a Seicane PX5 for 2009 Toyota Avensis. I have upgraded to Hal9k 4.10 and upgraded MCU to MTCE_MX2_V3.56. (it came with MTCE_MX2_V2.88).
Everything else works fine but the unit is supposed to switch and display rear camera when it detects that reverse is engaged. However nothing happens.
Camera is connected to "Camera in". Also it does not seem that either of the two wires with "Reverse" on give any voltage when reverse is engaged.
Camera works fine as I tested in aux-video in.
The system is also supposed to switch to "Camera in" when it detects videosignal on there (according to seicanes website).
Anyone have a similar problem or any tips?
Try manually feeding +12v to the reverse trigger wire (orange wire on Dasaita.. not sure about siecane) on the head unit and see what happens.
Thanks for a good idea!
There are two cables labeled "Reverse". One goes into the "AVIn/out" the other comes out of the "ISO-port".
When I trigger the one from AVI with 12v it switches to the camera input.
When I trigger the on on the ISO-port with 12V it also switches to camera input.
So that one must be two reverse-triggers?
The one from the ISO-port I assumed is supposed to go to +12V when reverse is enabled but it does nothing when reverse is enabled (measured with voltmeter).
I do not seem to be getting any voltage from "Cam power" either (which I assume is to go high when reverse is enabled).
I have set this up with the supplied wireless receiver and transmitter and according to the manual from Seicane it should automatically switch over when reverse is enabled or it detects something on the input.
When I run it from the 12 directly and trigger either of the "reverse"-cables it displays the rear image perfectly.
Problem is that I cannot trigger either of the "Reverse"-wires as it is now.
Is it a problem with the MCU-version? I guess I can connect an extra trigger via wire from the reversing lights. but it is extremely hard to get wires into rear hatch (stationwagon ).
Any other ideas?
Solved it by routing +12v from reversing lights to the "reverse"-trigger wires.
