Just because you installed this zip for hydrogen. Mi Max 3 is nitrogen. Take a look here (https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-max-3/how-to/rom-official-recovery-fastboot-roms-mi-t3827503), as it has the correct roms for the Mi Max 3.
Give preference to reinstall the rom via fastboot, because in addition to erasing everything, it resizes the partitions to the correct sizes. On the flash tool, NEVER select the "clean all and lock" option. Select the "clean all" option only.
Here is the link to the flash (https://xiaomiflashtool.com/download...-tool-20180528) - there is a more current version, but I do not use it because it always gives an error message after the installation is finished.
You can even follow this guide (https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-max-3/how-to/b-guide-to-fake-rom-unlocked-bootloader-t3846891), but version that came on your device (the guide is just a reference for you to follow).

Thanks for your answer but i don't like MIUI ROM... is it possible to find custom rom??

First you'd better do the process I told you to restore your device. Then you can look at how to install GSI's (since Mi Max 3 does not have specific custom roms). And remember that you can not install other roms from other devices, as it will always give an error and this may even render your device unusable. And most importantly: read carefully and follow exactly what is described in the guides, to avoid errors.
Then you can look here (https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-max-3/how-to/guide-beginners-guide-to-gsi-aosp-rom-t3910085). It is an excellent guide on how to install GSI's

I had restore my device with miflash and with the last firmware MIUI available. And now my phone works perfectly, thanks for your help.
My error was Nitrogen is not Hydrogen....

Great it worked. Now take a look at the other guides for you to install a GSI (if you want). Always read carefully the guides you will follow. It is very important that you also read about the anti rollback in the MIUI roms. From what I see here (including me), most prefer to install the roms xiaomi.eu for not having this mechanism. It is always good to have the information so that you do not make mistakes and have problems.

I think my phone is totally dead

Hi everyone
Well im a type of guy who thinks that knows everything thats why im in problems right now. So i was using MIUI 10 beta since the first day it came out and i love it with weekly updates and noticable changes. Yesterday i saw that i can install Android P on my whyred i was pretty happy so i decided to try it today. I flashed everything and Android P worked like charm on my whyred.
But i wanted to go back to MIUI 10 and i was trying to flash using twrp but at the end i lost everything on my phone including OS. Then i downloaded MIUI 10 8.7.12 to flash it with MIFlash and i got the "Anti-Rollback" error. I found some toolkit on MIUI forum to remove anti-rollback so i tried again to flash rom but MIUI V.9.5.4.0 and it started to flash. Flash went good and it was completed but my phone turned off and its completly dead. No chance to turn it on or even to go in fastboot mode.
I dont really think that anyone can save it but if anyone heard or had that problem i will be so thankful if you could help! :fingers-crossed:

There is no reported tool that can do that!
If it is the tool, I'm thinking of, it only allows unloking fastboot on ARP, so you can flash TWRP!

Thanks i will try. My pc can see my phone as "qusb_bulk" and i searched a little bit and i found out that is hard bricked so actually there is a way to fix this.
Dear seems that you flashed ARB 3 rom on ARB 4 enabled device
So hard bricked now you need mi authentication authorization to flash the latest rom.
All hard bricked users waiting for their permission from xiaome.

Here we are guys... After searching here and there i found some working ways to Root this device without getting bricked. So let's discuss about these :
1. UNLOCKING BOOTLOADER :
- Download the Mi Unlock app to PC, and sign in with your Mi Account;
- Enable Developer Option in your phone by tapping the "Build Number" 7 times
- Go to Developer Options "Settings > Additional Settings > Developer Options
- Enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlocking
- Aslo add account in Mi Unlock Status (Can be found in Developer Options
- Install all the required drivers (adb drivers, vcom drivers etc.) In your PC [I'll link these below]
- Shut down your phone manually, and hold Volume down key and Power button to enter Fastboot mode
- Connect your phone to PC using USB cable and click "Unlock". In Mi Unlock Tool
- You will be given a specific time (168 hours mostly)
- Wait until that and redo Unlock process
- Woah you have Unlocked your device
2. FLASHING TWRP :
- Install Minimal ADB and fastboot on your PC [Link will be provided below]
- Download LR Team TWRP [This work for now, I'll provide link below and will update it after we have another proper TWRP]
- Put that TWRP in the file location of ADB and Fastboot (Right click on Minimal ADB and Fastboot icon on desktop and click on Open file location)
- rename that recovery to "twrp" for convenience (optional)
- Now Connect your phone to PC With USB Debugging on (keep phone on).
- Type
Code:
adb devices
and accept the pop up on phone's screen.
- Now reboot your phone to Fastboot mode
- Type
Code:
fastboot devices
- Your device ID will be visible on Screen.
- Then type
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
- When it's done, Remove cable and Hold Power + Vol. Up when phone starts turning on leave the power button but keep pressing Vol. UP until TWRP splash Screen shows up.
- Done U did it
3. ROOTING :
- In TWRP mount System
- Go to Advanced > file manager
- then go to system_root > system and delete "recovery-from-boot.p"
- Go home and again go to advanced and Select "Close AVB2.0" swipe to confirm.
- Go back and select "Install Root"
- Here you go magisk 19.4 will be installed (U can chose any other versions afterwards.)
- Reboot the device to system.
- Ah Yes you did it

Erm the issue i have with ChinaRom is that I cant use my own homescreen launcher... even with root I cant bypass it... so I have to be on Global ROM... but china variant with global rom causes boot loop.... and seeing that you are using the only TWRP available i think the results are the same...

Bricked my China Rom Phone
I just bricked my phone - story here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-8-pro/help/help-to-unbrick-china-redmi-note-8-pro-t4004681
So does anyone have any idea how I can unbrick? Should I REM out the antirollback check lines in flash_all.bat?
Any help is much appreciated! Thank you!
My phone came with the Global EU (EEA) version ROM, i have flashed Global (MI) version. Will this method still work or will it cause bootloop? I don't want to brick my device so asking in advance. I was lucky to just get stuck in bootloop with my previous try using a different recovery.
P.S. I used MiFlash Tool and flashed the ROM through Fastboot.
Hey Pritish1998,
I must admit, I was a little leery, after reading all the other threads about installing twrp and rooting and the horror stories they contained. Well, your instructions seemed fairly simple. I followed them EXACTLY... and I lost my ass, everything got wiped, my imei, everything!!!
Totally kidding, everything worked perfectly, I followed your steps exactly as stated. I did not loose any data, nothing, every app, all my downloads, everything is still on my phone. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Also, TWRP, is still installed, didn't get wiped out by the stock recovery. I have root, and oh, I am on MIUI Global, on the United States phone I ordered off of Amazon. More Specifically, MIUI Global 11.0.1.0(PGGMIXM) Android Version 9 PPR1.180610.011. I received the MIUI 11 update about 3 days ago, and was still waiting the 160 some hours out for the bootloader unlock. I just got the bootloader unlocked about 3 hours ago. Went through numerous instructions and posts and this one seemed to make the most sense. I wasn't sure about MIUI 11 working, but fudge it, I thought I would just return the phone if I had a problem, but nope, you're instructions were clear and precise and I followed them to a tee and its working great and I have Magisk and did the safetynet update, and I'm all good.
I haven't updated Magisk to 20.1 though. Didn't want to press my luck.
Thanks so much bro, really, thank you.
this procedure worked as well on an indonesian 11.0.1. rom!!!
thx!
Hello good day! I have a question about TRWP:
1) Is it safe to install this TRWP f I am on 11.0.1.0 PGGEUXM?
Has anyone else done it since rom EEA instead of Gobal (MI)?
Thank you
Thank you very much, magisk works perfectly

No need for caps lock. We can read.
It was initially a double post he just edited it later and changed it to a guide, which is fine.
It's the same procedure like initial Chinese twrp which was and is already posted here.

I'm sure there are videos out there but it's actually not relatively difficult:
Unlock bootloader (Google Xiaomi bootloader unlock, it's an official thing Xiaomi offers) [THIS WILL COMPLETELY WIPE YOUR PHONE]
Install TWRP custom recovery (you can find guides on this forum)
Boot to TWRP
Go to Wipe > Factory Reset & Format Data (if coming from a non-Xiaomi.eu ROM)
Copy Xiaomi.eu ROM (from https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/20-5-14.55760/) for the Mix 3 to internal storage
Go to Install > Flash ROM you just copied
(Not sure if this is necessary but I did it to be safe) Back > Wipe > Format data again
[Optional] Go Back > Reboot > Recovery to boot back into TWRP (you NEED to do this before attempting to flash Magisk, not entirely sure why but it will bootloop otherwise) > Install > Flash compatible Magisk .zip for root access
Reboot > System
Just flashed Xiaomi.eu MIUI 12 beta 20.05.14 and it runs like a charm. They changed up the way permissions are granted so all my apps are prompting to reallow certain things but that's nbd. Also you can turn off the new iPhone-ripoff notification shade thank god
Tnx for reply, I will apply for bootloader unlock, and check out this steps. Some follow up questions, i see you put the link to "weekly" rom, does than mean it will be updated every week, and is there some sort of "stable" version that gets update monthly or something like that, and also does Xeu get OTA updates, is that possible, or its always done with PC? tnx

Actually yes we have stable version. However since MIUI 12 isn't officially go global for Mix 3 (yet) then these versions are being made based on alpha/beta once let's say

Yes it is a beta ROM that's updated weekly. There is a stable global version of MIUI 11 (Android 10), but a stable MIUI 12 hasn't been released for the Mix 3 yet. Should come eventually though. I update weekly through TWRP, it's not exactly as easy as an OTA update but it only takes a few minutes at most and you don't need a computer to update.
If you're going to go with the weekly beta, I suggest the 20.2.27 update (it's MIUI 11) because it felt the most stable. Didn't find any animation hitches or weird issues or anything. The latest MIUI 12 beta is good too but the animations are a little wonky at times.
On the latest changelog, it says the beta will end for Mi Mix 3 from September 5th. Does it mean EOL for Mi Mix 3 or only stable builds will be updated?
in version 11 I had a problem with the sensor during a phone call. it turned off the screen but didn't turn it on.
in version 12 there is this problem too. Do you have that too?

Hello!
I had more or less the same problem both on LineageOS and ArrowOS. I am currently using ArrowOS. Followed the instructions for ArrowOS. Full wipe, flash rom, latest firmware, reboot. I don't use gapps.
Every data/radio connection worked except LTE. I am in Hungary. After a bit of research, trial and error i have a perfectly working system. OTA works too.
All i had to do is:
- Dial *#*#4636#*#*
- Phone Information, upper right corner dots (menu?).
- Select Radio Band.
- Europe.
- Restart phone.
After that i had working LTE both data and radio. Maybe for data you have to research your carrier's instructions.
Hope i helped, good luck.

Question Touchscreen not working

Hi, recently I got this a32 from a friend because my phone is broken, but there's a problem. Some time ago she updated this phone from android 11 to 12 and the touchscreen completely stopped working, i got the phone yesterday hoping to fix this problem but i updated to android 13 (oneui 5.1) and it still doesnt work, i tried do downgrade to android 11 but its impossible and for last i tried to install twrp and then a gsi (following a guide here on the forum), i noticed that in twrp the touchscreen does actually work but after installing lineage os 20 it didn't again, is there any hope for this phone?

We couldn't provide support for the hardware, mostly because you said that you've tried to reset the device and flash the stock ROM again.
If this doesn't fix the hardware issue, the assistance is the only way.
Probably a failure batch etc.
to be completely honest i flashed the stock rom by a backup i did before flashing lineage os, so if there's a guide on how to flash one ui 5.1 in order to have a clean installation it would be rlly helpful

Tell me if you couldn't flash

One ui 5.1 firmware cannot be downgraded. I currently daily drive crdroid from nazim on one ui 5.1 firmware. my touch has never had issues. May be a hardware issue. Maybe a custom kernel would solve it. I built one for A325F that works on one ui 5.1 firmware. Give it a try from here. Its permissive btw. Just flash it in twrp. Although take a backup of boot before flashing incase something goes wrong

The problem is that after flashing it goes in a bootloop where it says that "this phone's bootloader is unlocked, press power button" i do it and it starts the galaxy logo with above the writing "the software you are using isnt official, you may have problems with security and features" and it gets stuck there, rn i flashed the original firmware with odin and the phone is working but touch still isn't.
EDIT: i forgot to add that when i flashed with odin everything was going fine until the phone's screen went from green to red, i've never seen this so idk if i should be worried or not (phone is still running normally).

yes i'm on android 13 one ui 5.1, the firmware is A325FXXU3DWB8_A325FOXM3DWB8_ITV. I got it checked and they said that it cant be fixed because i cant downgrade from android 13 to another one, i could try installing crdroid like you and if you could send me a guide it would be amazing, thanks again.

Just flash twrp for this thing from here. Follow steps on that thread to decrypt your storage and stuff. Then download crdroid gsi. Extract it. flash img file to system partition in twrp. Afterwards wipe dalvik, cache, internal storage
(internal storage is not necessary). You should be able to boot into twrp sucessfully.
I also have some workarounds and the stuff i use for my daily driving in this thread here.
If you need any further help i'll be here to assist.

Oh um i am sorry looks like thread doesnt contain instructions to that. I'll write em here myself
When you boot into twrp after flashing go to advanced and go to terminal
type
multidisabler
run it two times. Then go to format. Then press format data and type yes. Once its done reboot back into twrp again. Then flash crdroid as i said in my post above. and format the things i said. you should be able to boot into crdroid normally.

So uh looks like you have no options left. I just want to make sure. could you list the exact methods you used to flash the fw. Along with where u got the fw from? Lets see if the fw itself is broken or something.
Also this is very unrelated and time wasting. but you could try download one ui 5 firmware. Then extract super.img from ap. unsparse it and extract vendor.img and flash it to vendor partition using twrp. Then decrypt by typing
multidisabler twice in terminal as said in my previous post. Check if maybe an older version one ui 5 firmware has this issue fixed. one ui 5's kernel boots so one ui 5 vendor should work on 5.1 as well. It may not work but worth a try. you could also try doing this with android 12 firmware if that fixes it. if you do not have a linux machine availible i'll do it for you and upload the files for both firmwares here. Otherwise if its a hardware issue get your phone replaced or try getting the screen replaced. if still nothing happens ig switching to a new phone would be the only optiion.
So, to flash the firmware I used odin, the fw was from sammobile.
For trying to extract super.img and so on idk how to actually do it so if you could explain it would be really helpful. Btw trying to flash android 12 firmware is impossible because samsung made it so,
thank you again for the help.

i use samfw mostly for my firmwares. anyways. You need a linux machine nearby. ubuntu or arch. any distro based on them would work.
first you need to unsparse the super.img
for that we use
simg2img super.img super-raw.img
then we can use lpunpack or mount it to get our vendor.
we flash it using twrp and then we run multidisabler twice like we did when we first flashed gsi.
As you said above if you could do it for me it'd be awesome because i don't have a pc with linux rn.
