[Q] Google Voice + phone off

Hi everyone,
Google voice works completely fine for me when the phone is powered up. When I put it in either airplane mode or turn it off all the caller gets is "the call could not be completed at this time". Anyone have any advice on getting google voice working with the phone off?
I realize that this isn't the most appropriate place for this issue, but have gotten no help anywhere else. So I figured this site is the most active in helping solve problems.
I am using the stable CM6 with the stock kernel.
Thanks for the help.
Are you sure that you have Voicemail enabled for GV?
I'm sure. As long as the phone is on I get voicemail. Its only when the phone is off the air that I get the errors from other callers.

Help with Google Voice Being Dumb

the other day i reloaded google voice in my phone but deleted it because everytime i got a call it wants me to push 1 to accept or 2 to decline.....
how the heck do i delete this off or stop it from doing this
it's a setting in google voice (online). I think it says automatically connect calls. I had to do that to because I could never get my calls in.

Can't Receive Calls - Google Voice Issue

Hello everyone. My epic touch works great except I can't receive calls. I think that this is a google voice issue because once I disable the google voice + sprint integration, everything works fine. Sometimes, my phone tells me that I have a missed call. The last time I remember receiving a call is before I installed the google voice app (not sure if that this is the cause). I haven't been able to receive a call for nearly four weeks now.
I am at my wit's end. I think I have tried everything short of posting to this forum until now, including:
1.) Following the advice on a similar thread in this forum. (To dial *710)
2.) Elsewhere it was suggested to dial *720, *730, and *740.
3.) Calling sprint. They suggested it was due to a service outage, though I doubt this is the case as I live in an area with good coverage.
4.) Doing a PRI reset to factory default settings.
5.) Uninstalling the google voice app (and reinstalling it).
6.) Setting up another google voice account to try with a different number.
7.) Having google voice integrate my carrier number over instead of the google voice number.
8.) Following the instructions on post #4 on this sprint forum thread. (To remove google voice, reboot phone, update profile etc., call sprint)
9.) Googling around. There seem to be others who have asked google directly for advice, but they all seem to be "closed to responses" before the issues are definitively resolved.
10.) Flashed another modem.bin found elsewhere on this epic 4g touch forum.
11.) I'm sure there have been other things I've tried..
Can anybody help me? I rarely ask for help but I think I've exhausted all of my options. I'm running StarBurst 1.6.
PS - Is it bad forum etiquette to write in bold so much here?
My phone wasnt receiving calls and i thought it was a google voice issue, so i uninstalled it and still the same issue of not receiving calls.
I dont know if your issue is the same as mine, but when my phone isnt connected to a charger or computer in sleep/idle mode, it wont receive calls or text. my text will come in when i hit the power button to bring it out of idle/sleep mode.
I got the run around from sprint customer service for about a week because of the issue so today they told me to take it to a service center to get it checked out. Turns out the phone is defective and they're going to take a week to get me a new phone.
Its not google voice, with the guy above me that makes 3 of us who are not receiving calls while in sleep mode!

I'm not sure we have the same issue. I never have a problem with text, regardless of whether my charger is connected or not. If I disable google voice integration, I can receive calls to my carrier number, whether or not the phone is in sleep mode. It doesn't look like google forwards calls to my phone when someone calls my google voice number, though.
After re-enabling google voice integration, I left my phone out of sleep mode, called it, and awhile later the phone did ring for about half a second before displaying a missed call. This does not consistently happen as this is the first time I've seen this.

Google is not accessible

Hi, sometimes, when I use a voice command the watch says only "Google is not accessible now..." (I have my language selected so the message in English can be a little bit different).
When I pull down the screen there is a scratched cloud. But the watch is connected to the phone and the phone has internet connection! Notifications are incoming but voice commands not.
May be related: voice data text to speech are downloaded often. Restart the watch doesn't help always, restart the phone helped but it could be a lucky.
Any idea?
Watch: Huawei Watch 2 Sport with SIM inserted, connection set to automatic (never seen connected)
Phone: Samsung S9+, no root, battery optimizing disabled.
