I just got my g4 and for some apps like kik I am not getting the led when I have a notification. Charging the phone shows the red led and messaging seems to work as well. Anyone have the same issue?

I got it working. I didn't realize you could tap the notification light setting and bring up another menu. In there I just checked the box that says use LED for downloaded apps
Hi All,
I Just purchased a zenfone 2 laser and slowly getting used to the ZenUI(5.0.2). I was just wondering if there is anyway to make the screen turn on when I get a notification like my old Moto G 2013.
I think it's depend on the apps that push the notification. Should have the permission to wake the device.

I've disabled all battery optimization for the assistant and disabled adaptive battery and sleep standby. 9 times out of 10, I'm not getting notifications for my reminders until I unlock the phone. Does anyone have an idea on how to remedy this?
Hello, when i activate "always on display", i can remove the battery, but cannot remove the clock
How can i do it? I have root with magisk
Also, another question, i enabled "horizon light" for notifications, but when i receive an message, the screen lights up for 2 seconds then everything disappears
I tried AOD notify app, but it seems to have a high battery usage, is there a good way to get some "notification light/message" that doesn't use much battery?
My old Oneplus 5T had a notification light, and was perfect.
