How would i do this without removing internal storage?
Device Specs:
Custom Recovery: TWRP
Previous OS:Cyanogenmod 11
The device no longer has root.
Need help asap
Just flash your ROM again, doesn't matter if you don't have OS or root as long as you have custom recovery

Don't have one on internal storage.
Then you can use the external sd, or flash the firmware with Odin.
Hello,
I just successfully root my htc one x and add a CWM v6.0.4.8 recovery.
After trying to install a cyanogen rom I realize I add to flash the boot.img.
So I flashed the kernel
And now i'm stuck with no rom installed, and most of all I can't connect my phone to pc. The sdcard isn't mounting so I can't put anything in it. So I can't put the rom with the flashed boot.img.
thanks

Flash boot.img then go in recovery wipe everything except sd card and install the rom and if you want to use the sd card instal Philz 5.15.9 recovery there the sd card mount work perfect
flash stock Rom using fastboot I will send link visit now http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2423735 if I helped this link then like now or thanx

Thank you for your help and sorry for the useless thread.
Hi guys,
I own both a Galaxy S2 and Ace2. I have already installed CyanogenMod on the S2 and I am about to do the same on the Ace2 using an unofficial release. I have noticed differences in the procedure between the two devices and I would like to understand these differences.
On the S2 you first need to install a custom recovery (ClockworkMod) using Odin before flashing the Cyanogenmod zip. The reason for this is the stock recovery will recognise that Cyanogenmod is a custom ROM and will not permit it to be installed directly.
However on the Ace2 it seems that you can install Cyanogenmod directly from zip using the stock recovery. Does the stock recovery on the Ace2 not have the ability to recognise custom ROMs or does it simply not care?
Thanks in advance.
I don't know about recovery recognision but I know that installing Custom ROM on Ace 2 is easier than on S2. You just need to flash the zip with Cyanogenmod but sometimes Custom ROM's need newer recovery so then you must install temporary CWM recovery to flash that kind of Custom ROM.
I saw this on 4pda

I've tried to install dual boot but with limited results
I am confused with the terms DEXP MLTE5
Anybody tried?
PS My primary rom is the stock one which was rooted and twrp 3.0.0 installed
My second rom is Temasek's 6 (installed in sd card) but it is impossible to install gapps.
ny clues?
Hi guys, my question is, when I flash TWRP, how can I keep it from being replaced without flashing custom ROM or kernel? Orangefox says to flash their recovery, then in orange fox you must install the 'orangefox.zip'. Is this a fix for it being replaced? Or is it just impossible on stock ROM? My data is not encrypted. Thankyou for all help and advice
In order for the custom recovery to stick you must either flash magisk or a custom kernel or both if you choose, let me know if you have any issues and I'll be happy to help you with the issue more.
Edit: ElementalX is a great custom recovery I recommend paying for their app to go along with the free kernel has a lot of features.
I must be missing something then, I am not new to the custom ROM scene with many old devices. So not a full noob.
I flash TWRP, then magisk, but after a reboot root is disabled and custom recovery gone.
This is the first device I am fully happy with how it comes out the box, don't want to make any kernel or ROM changes, just the ability to fully root so I can have viper ect.
