Turn off "High Performance" does it disappear ?
If yes, it is not the battery icon, it's just the high performance indicator

It's only the battery % you can disable from what I can see, not the icon
I want disable baterry % because i won't see it. Well, If i can't disable baterry icon on the notification bar, hiding battery % is useless. Thank you samsung...
You can try using Tasker app to hide the battery and other icons in the status bar such as the WiFi, mobile, clock, etc. You can hide them without rooting the phone. Although i haven't tried it in OneUi Pie so I'm not sure if it will work. I'm on Oreo at the moment.
The battery percentage is visible only when quick settings pane is expanded. It cannot be disabled here.

How to display the battery as percentage instead of a icon representation.
I'd rather see 45% battery life then a icon that show's half.
Any apps that you recommend for this?
Epic Blackclass will be reeased soon and will implement this. Initially showing 10% at a time will update later with 5 % intervals.

whats the details on Blackclass? when will it be out? and will it run on top of Epic4G? or need root? details?
Yes it will require root, a preliminary "version" of it should be releaseed in the next few hours.
Since TouchWiz doesn't have battery percentage built into it, the only way would be changing/flashing the framework with requires root.
You can get apps that show a battery notification with %, but changing the battery icon itself to have percentage isn't possible without root.
Don't know if I will be finished by tonight, but soon.

Yeah that irked me there was no option in there to show it.
In fact there were other apps that when I opened up actually showed the percentage number.

Its, the normal symbol that battery is full charged. Nothing special, in every 2.3.X rom...
Thanks for your reply
Actually the normal symbol is the one to the Right and it is without the percentage. What I'm referring to is the one to the Left with without percentage
I believe this can be acheived by a widget
Can any one help me here ??
This is not a widget. Don't turn your phone off and charge it to 100% and you will have that symbol in your notification bar. Like it was said before you'll need a Gingerbread fw.
OK. If I want a widget that gives battery icons similar to the stock ones but with percentage, what would be that widget, can somebody help me

Look at this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1196391
But you must flash your SGS with the lastest fw : ODEXED JVR !

Here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1085759
I mean those wifi, bt, sound icons etc.
Looks like they are embedded in the notification bar. Is it a wedget? or a built-in feature of some third-party rom?
Thanks.

Well they aren't stock I can tell you that.
Most custom ROMs have a power widget like that.

You can install Notification Toggle where you are able to choose between different icon graphics.
Stock notification icons from CM10 I believe. You can change/disable them in settings.

No.. those are the built in Power Widgets from CM. There should be an option in the system settings to disable them if you dont like them. As well as customize them and change their order etc.

Hello, on the s20 I can't seem to get live temperatures to display in the notifications bar from weatherbug at the top next to the time. Anybody know why that is?

In Weatherbug settings "Live conditions" must be enabled ... also in phone settings under "status bar", "show notification icons" should be enabled too...

I have both on as you described in your pictures, still no temperatures from any weather program. Other status bar items work, like signal spy. I just cannot seem to get temperature. Any ideas?
I just did check mine work.

STrange - I have tried with at least 3 weather apps...
I want to get rid of the huge space when fully extending the notification panel, so when I pull it all the way down, the brightness bar is around the center of the screen, does anyone know a way to do this, with or without root.

Try using Galaxy Goodlock family of apps,
Quickstar. See if it can hide it for you...
Try notifications settings, try searching for "clock" in settings.
Quickstar hides the clock on my homescreen page, they may have added more options for Android 11/12.
On my N10+'s Android 9/10...
I will try that. Thank you.

That looks horrible. Is that Android 12?
13 will likely be worse.
On 9/10 it uses the space much better...
This was modified using Quickstar for the custom colors.
If you want to quickly access brightness control you can use One Handed Operation plus, Quicktools to do so.
Sadly there was no option for this, it seems to be essentially color type changes you can make
