How do you delete the Samsung preloaded music from the watch?
There's probably only 2 songs, but i have no interest in hearing them.

Open the Music app on the watch. You should see an arrow on the bottom of the screen - swipe up, and scroll to Tracks and press it. Then find the Samsung song, press and hold on the song, then select Delete, and voila, its gone...
Thank you1! Much appreciated.

Hi, i've searching for this for a while, but to no avail.
I love my new Galaxy S2, but there is one issue that bothers me, and that is that I have to take it out of my pocket to skip tracks.
I heard from one person stating you could skip the track by long pressing the button on the supplied head phones, however I cannot get this to work. Does this work for any body else?
If the headphones can't skip track, does anyone know of any that do (volume control is not important)? Or an app/trick to skip track without needing to take the phone out of my pocket? (such as long press volume rocker)
I have an old bluetooth stereo headset, and even this won't allow track skipping, only play/pause, despite working fine with my nexus one. All help would be greatly appreciated.
You skip tracks by double pressing the mic button. It's a pain to get the timing right, but it does work with the stock music player.
You can download PowerAMP Music Player from the android market.
It's a better music player and you can longpress the button to change the track
Trail version is 15 days, you gotta buy the full app after that

So If my headphones can't even play/pause the stock music app , I might have an some other underlying issue?
Strangely I play/pause with the headset if I install Fedes music app alpha v4, and possibly others. Will try uninstalling all music apps again and see if they were interferring somehow.
Confused!
To follow up, the double click to skip works in Fedes Music app (you're right about the timing) but still won't work in either the stock music app or the music hub.
Really fustrating.
The double clicking works on stock but you have to get the timing right, which is near impossible. The whole Samsung s2 stock music app is a load of crap compared to the original S, the sound, the music contol, the whole thing is much worse! I don't know what they have done, but they have definitely gone backwards with the music app!
You can use a remote from an HTC headphone for skipping tracks.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, but the button does not work at all when using the stock app. No play/pause, no track skip, nothing.
All other music apps seem to work as intended. So surely this must be an issue with my stock music app? As if there is a hidden setting I turned off, but can't find to turn back on.

About 2.5 years too late but I think I've nailed it. I can get a consistently successful double click skip by holding the first click a little longer. Using a pair of cheap Sony earphones on the S2.
Anyone know exactly what I can use to get S-Voice or Google Now to open upon a long click of the headset/headphone button?
I am a recent Android user and came over from iPhone, one simple feature I loved about my iPhone 4 (with had basic voice controls but not Siri) was the ability to hold the headset button while biking and just say "play Nirvana" or "play album Nevermind" and it would go into the music player and play what I requested.
For some reason I haven't been able to replicate the same function with my S3. It works find if I am looking at the phone and press S-Voice or Google Now, but not when I have no access to the screen/screen lock.
Any ideas?
anyone?
For some stupid reason, both my note 7 units and the loaner s7 edge have this same stupid bug/feature.
I like to turn the audio off on games and listen to music via a music app while on the bus/train. But these newer phones have this behavior that means when I launch a game it put the music app on pause so I have to (via my watch or pull down menu) Press Play while in the game to keep listening.
My 6p never did this... I've tested with black player, power amp, Samsung music and a couple of others.
Any suggestions how I can make the bloody phone do what I want? It's driving me nuts!
Ugh this is really annoying me. Even if I pop out the music player and have it open in a popped out window, when I launch a game it pauses the bloody music!!!
Why must Samsung constantly take two steps forward then one back?
Let the music Play you arsehats!
both 'Stellio' and 'Poweramp' will keep playing. Check the settings. I believe it's called audio focus.
Oh you legend!
Thanks so much... Stellio did it, had to turn off long focus.
Recently got the w2 watch, like it apart from AW2 being soooo buggy!! One thing driving me crazy.
How do I delete Google play music tracks have download on the watch? I long press a track and it downloads it.. I see no way of deleting it from watch??

I tried that, but where does it given an option to delete it?
Than it is OK, it is deleted.
"To remove downloaded music from your watch touch and hold an album or playlist that you’ve already downloaded. "
I use downloaded playlists for my workouts, running, and walks. There are times when the app will not play. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting my earbuds, but that does not help. The only way to get it working is by restarting the watch which takes forever to reboot.
Try just force closing the app instead of rebooting. I have that sometimes and it's really annoying.
I also have that the first track won't play. I'd need to skip to the next one to hear any music.

How do you force close apps on the WATCH? Thanks in advance.
Navigate through Settings -> Apps & Notifications -> App info -> System apps until you find YouTube Music. There you get the option to Force close it.
Oddly enough, I have two entries. So I stop the both of them.
I'll give it a try. Thank you very much.
It looks like the new update hasn't fixed this.
It is a long standing issue I had on my Galaxy Watch 4 too.
I haven't had a problem with YT music. But I don't use the built in app on the watch. I start my station/playlist on the phone, then use media controls on the watch to control the music.
