Google Wallet Complications

So, I've scoured the internet hoping to find a solution to my problem but I had yet to find a single thread to actually help. Okay so I have a 4.0.2 ICL53F Galaxy Nexus under Fido in Canada. My phone is rooted and is currenly bluffing as a T-Mobile phone through the Market Enabler App. I have the lastest APK of Google Wallet but everytime I try ot open it I am greeting with this message...
"Hardware not supported. Sorry, this device is not yet supported. We are wroking to add support. Please check Market later for updates."
This is NOT a banner to avoid the confusion I've seen in the answering of other peoples posts who had similar problems. This is a window that appears when I first open the program and the only option it gives me is to exit the program. I would show a picture but forum rules prevent me, a new member, from doing do. So if anyone has had this and solved it please help me out.
Only works in US
you can download by tricking the market but when you open the app the sim tells Google wallet the truth about where you are

From what I understand no. That just lets you download it. Same with manually installing it. There is something in the app that checks region or something along those lines. A user in Florida hasn't received his sim card yet and said it wouldn't let him use it so it checks something maybe carrier I'd. Not sure just thinking out loud

Not sure this will help...
But have you tried to turn off the cellular radio, remove your SIM, and connecting only using WiFi? Part to the process to provision your GW Prepaid card reaches out and talks to Google and Money Network. It's possible it's seeing the packets coming from a non-us carrier or the carrier ID from your SIM? Too bad you don't have a prepaid SIM from TMO or ATT there to use to provision your wallet. Hope this helps.
wallet will not work in canada google is adding support in a few months though. it was just on global news 3 days ago

I don't believe it will work without being able to access the SIM. I have airplane mode and wifi turned on for most of the day and Wallet will never work with Airplane Mode enabled. Works fine when Airplane Mode is off, either over wifi or mobile data.
I use it here in bermuda,
Clear clache of google wallet. if that doesn't work delvik cache too
Download Market Enabler set it to US cell carrier -open it before you open google wallet
set up a VPN for the US
I have one. I use "myprivatenetwork" google it.\
it gives you instructions.
Open google wallet set it up turn off vpn. voila
google wallet works.
you can turn off the phone it will still work as long as you do not clear the cache for wallet.
Stupid question.. but have you enabled NFC on your phone? Although you cannot top up your google prepaid card here in canada anymore, you can still use $10 that google gives you for free for just enabling wallet. And Yes, it works. I have it working on my GNex running on Telus.
I just tested this again. without carrier faking using market enabler, I get exactly same message as you. however if I fake my carrier to (us) T-Mobile, my google wallet open up just fine.
Move to the USA.

Tmobile S4 on AT&T cannot connect to LTE help!

Hey everyone!
So I picked up a tmobile s4 to use on ATT since I read it was the most unlocked due to bands / bootlocker. I unlocked it via the method described on this site via the debug menu.
Popped in ATT sim, everything looked fine initially.
1. I'm only getting 4G in an LTE area. device hasn't picked up any LTE anywhere yet.
2. When I go under "Network Mode" and select "LTE/GSM/WCDMA (auto connect) the signal dies out and it always reverts back to GSM/WCDMA"
3. I've called ATT a few times and triple checked that I'm on an Android LTE data plan, so that's not an issue. ATT techs suggested it could be a device issue and maybe I should take it into their tech center.
4. Tried to set up ATT Visual Voicemail, that failed also.
So can it be a Sim issue? Maybe something on tmobiles side? Since device was never active on their network. A lemon S4?
I've run out of options
Any help would be appreciated.
TIA!

Go to settings> more networks>mobile networks> access point network> and change your settings to look like these....
In the "APNs" window just hit the + button to creat a new APN

I also found the setting from here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMyD8zqk-Hg which led to here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2336085 .
The main end game fix was that ATT had my IMIE # incorrectly set. Once they fixed that my LTE was a go!

Help me diagnose my connectivity issue, no data connection with AT&T

Just recently I have been having an impossible time connecting to AT&T network, both data and mobile network with my G3, I don't believe it to be a network issue because my wife's Note 3 works just fine. I havent really changed anything on my phone other than I did install Show Box for movies, not sure if it's related or not. Where do I begin?
Thanks-Dan

You could always check your APN settings under mobile network settings. Google AT&T APN settings and make sure you have yours correct. Thats where I would begin.
Yeah, tried that but still having issues...

Galaxy watch LTE - disabling eSIM on non supported market

Hey guys,
I found LTE unlocked variant for the price of BT (30€ more). ESIM is not supported here so I still cant use the full functionality but I'd buy it just for those 1.5gb memory if not anything else.
Does anyone know if its forcing you to "insert" esim because wouldn't like to have constant popups saying insert sim/no network., or can network connectivity be somehow disabled and normally used as BT/wifi edition until the operators support the LTE?
Thanks,
Maybe if you turn on Airplane mode, then switch on BT and WiFi manually.

Thanks - I actually didn't know that was possible on either Tizen or Android :good:
Maybe this info is useful....
TizenOS allows you to activate airplane mode, but from what I've seen you still need a SIM card in an LTE unit. There may or may not be a way around this yet; all the Telephony packages seemed pretty concerned about checking the SIM card constantly and throwing errors whenever it was missed. Lucky for us the Telephony is left at Partner level, so with an SDB shell you should be able to just type something like:
Code:
sdb shell uninstall org.tizen.telephony-syspopup*
and the nags should cease to be forever. Not sure if that's exactly the right command string to work, but I'll check when I get the chance to.
Hope this helps.
You can simply disable LTE connectivity in the setup Menu, like Wifi or NFC. Before i activated the eSIM on my watch i didn't get any pop up or message to activate the eSIM. So i would say it is no problem to use the watch without the eSIM. With disabled LTE it works exactly like the BT model.

Thanks, however I went to the Tmobile store today to try to look through the settings to see how to disable LTE but I couldn't find it and the salesperson didn't know either. Would you be able to post a screenshot of how to disable LTE? Thanks!

So I bought a LTE watch and found the place to disable mobile networks.
In Settings, go to "Connections" -> "Mobile networks". Anyway, its off by default when I purchased the watch, and I can confirm that I've never had a single pop-up message asking me to activate.
I purchased the LTE version of the watch in the US directly from the Samsung website.

Hi, It is an esim, so techically it is already 'inserted' in your device. You don't have to set up a connection if you don't have to, just use the watch like the BT version. There won't be any popups or errors. Just switch off mobile data completely under settings, as it eats battery like nothing.

I am also interested if there is any difference in battery life between a Galaxy Watch Bluetooth anbd a Galaxy Watch LTE but with "Mobile Networks" off in the setting menu.
I'm basically wondering if there is any additional drain from the LTE services that run in the background even if the setting menu says LTE should be off. If so, I would like to know if I could turn off those background services to extend battery!
Mine was off by default, but I do not have service on my watch, so that may be why. As people have already said its a eSim(embeddedSim), so its not able to be removed, and wont hurt anything by being there.

Question How to fix faulty mobile network on Exynos?

I have a Galaxy S22 Exynos and I have troubles with mobile network. Although the phone shows it has full 4G or even 4G+ connection, Internet doesn't work at all, and only up arrow lights up. Turning airplane mode on and back off again seems to temporarily fix it. I've tried countless methods in order to fix it, but nothing seems to work. How to fix it?
I has same issue.
Moscow, megafon...
I have the same problem, its hardware issue and samsung doesnt want to admit it. I sended mine to warranty repair and hopefully they will fix it.
I had contacted samsung support for help and they asked to reset network setting, then all phones settings and then full format but none of those fixed the issue. Then they started to ask for log files but it wasnt possible to take the log file they asked for because it needs OTP password which i cant get because its only for samsung repair center. After that they said i should bring phone to repair.
Any news about this problem?
I'm tried switch mobile network to 3g/2g only mode and this is help, but not 4g or 4g+.
It looks like the phone can't switch from 4g+ to 3g mode and stuck.
