run this command on mtk variant of moto e4 and at the end you will find that their's no bootloader string. NO bootloader String means NO need of unlock key. Only this guide will going to help you.
LOL :silly:
I think mine could be the snapdragon variant and it doesnt work on it.

I got a moto E4 from Walmart which is a verizon variant.
Got a unlock code from ebay and the code was accepted.
But not usable on Sprint, unless the mobile is activated or do the oem unlocked from Moto/Verizon.

You can't unlock the bootloader and root the Verizon version. It's impossible. Don't try.

moto z2 force dual sim settings?

I recently got my Moto Z2 Force bootloader unlocked and rooted. I was messing around with a Quick Settings app and found a dual SIM settings. I was wondering if this phone does come in a dual SIM variant or if it could be made into a dual SIM phone I have the T-Mobile Edition.
The wizard was able to launch. the other settings shortcuts are not working they keep force closing.
You can follow the procedure for the Moto Z to modify build.prop and changing out the modem file for the dual sim variant.
Method 1: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-z/how-to/guide-to-enable-dualsim-singlesim-t3594529
Method 2: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-z/how-to/guide-dual-sim-mod-signle-sim-moto-z-t3606528
Test it out and let us know what happens. I don't own this device, but if it works, I might own it soon. Remember to make backups.
I look through those links you gave me. I'd be willing to give it a try but there's no official TWRP currently meaning that there is no definite way back if I mess up. If there is dumped images I can Flash with fastboot to recover if something goes wrong I would be willing to give it a try.
The files for the modem are in the same location as the Moto Z and Z play also I need to figure out how I am going to get the second sim to be secured in the sim tray

The second method doesn't require modifying system files and everything is done via fastboot and adb. As far as securing the second sim, could you post what the sim tray looks like? My last Moto device was the Moto X Pure, which was stolen in the Philippines. If anyone in the Philippines wants to help me recover it, please PM me.
Here is what the tray looks like I'll do some testing tonight when I get home
Usually Motorola ships their phones with the same sim tray as their international dual sim variants, except with the second sim slot covered up.
When I was messaging Motorola's support today they said the us version is single sim only but there is a different sim tray for the dual SIM version that is available outside the us. I still have to call in and verify over the phone and see if it can be ordered
So when I called in they said that there is not a dual-sim capable after it's been registered in a US Network and then they wouldn't answer my question if I could even get a dualsim tray so I guess I can't
as i know china version have dual sim

In Italy we have carrier TIM which is selling single SIM (unlocked) @ about 685,00 €.
Unbranded are dual SIM in most of EU markets but prices are high and availability is low: in Italy Amazon sell them @ about 990,00 €, while on other EU markets best prices could be 850,00 €, rarely less....
I've got mine from a *very good* German seller on eBay... they still have one available @ about 715,00 € shipped which is a *great* price to date...
Hello guys.
I have xt1789 03 variant. It's a single Sim but I was wondering what if I put another Sim and give it a try.
I did and it detected another Sim as well.
It was working flawlessly but when I heard that some of the other variant roll out pie update and people are using it.
I try to flash the pie ROM and it flashed successfully but the problem I am getting now is that the IMEI I had on the phone shows 0
I tried to revert it back to stock Oreo and noughat but after flashing I got baseband unknown wifi and Sim signals lost. Even Bluetooth was not working.
I am wondering if there is a way That I could revert it back to Oreo or noughat so I will have the old baseband and working wifi and both the Sims.
Please help me out so I could get my Moto z2 force back to original condition.
Right now what I did for getting the wifi back I flashed the modem NON-HLOS.bin
I lost the sim signals.
Bootloader unlocked

SM-A520F to SM-A520F/DS

Hello,
I have Samsung A5 2017 Single Sim (SM-A520F) and I want to know if I can convert it to Samsung A5 2017 Dual Sim (SM-A520F/DS).
If the answer is yes can you tell me how?
If install the firmware from SM-A520F/DS in my phone and use the right sim holder (sim+sd card) will be ok?
I have two phone numbers and I can't use two phones all the time.
P.S. In Europe Official Samsung A5 is the SM-A520F
Thanks for your time.

I doubt it. The phone must have the hardware to read 2 SIMs. Not as eady as putting a SIM caddy. Not sure if the SS device has that hardware in place. The Moto X Play did, but dual SIM can only be done with two IMEIs. Furthermore, the legality of such a system varies from country to country
You could buy a Dual sim Adapter
I want to know...if someone has a DS version can they use a 520F firmwire!?

Hi,
I installed the stock rom on my TIM branded G7 assuming I was losing OTAs, but I didn't know nfc payments were also lost. Until now I haven't used NFC for paying but it's possible that I will want to use it soon, could you please confirm that it's not possible to use nfc for paying in a "debranded" device? In that case, perhaps returning to TIM rom is worth it...
Thanks

hi for the NFC paying system you must go back to branded version of your software. You have to buy a no branded original lg phone to have nfc paying system without brand software
What a stupid thing with debranding

Is posible to Downgrade Moto G6 play Jeter?

Hello, I'm wondering if it's possible to downgrade the moto g6 play xt1922-7 boost mobile, I'm on the security patch February 1, 2019. I had to move from the USA and I need to unlock it, but it seems to be a problem with this security path. I took a look at this thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/g6-play/how-to/guide-t3929928) but I don't know if this might work to downgrade to another security patch.
Any suggestions?
Thank you all, guys.

That's my guide. It's for unlocking the bootloader which is not the same as sim card unlock, it's also for disabling forced encryption and rooting and In case you messed up reflashing stock firmware. While it is possible to downgrade, downgrading will not help unlock your sim card for your phone. Boost Mobile allows sim card unlock after the device has been in service with boost Mobile for a year.
