I tried to RUU with .exe but I get error 150, I also tried to flash RUU with .zip using One_M8_All-In-One_Kit_v2.0, but I think I'm using the wrong file.
Can someone please tell me the right one?
Thanks
OS-3.28.401.6 (5.07.1700.6) <---- this is the problem.
Try this RUU - https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64926626&postcount=6
Most probably you need to install firmware first (fw_6.12.401.4)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60218734&postcount=5
If still fails .. then you need to change back modelid: 0P6B1**** to 0P6B10000

I'm attempting to install ARHD but wifi isn't working due to not updating my firmware. So I found the firmware on their website and attempted to install it (relock bootloader as I'm S-ON) but I got an error (41 model id check fail). Searched up about it and found that the best thing to do was to go S-OFF. I don't mind using sunshine to do it, but what do I do after I preform the S-OFF? Someone said something about changing CID but I don't know much about that.
Info on my device that will hopefully help:

Yes! Doing SuperCID followed by flashing worked! Thank you very much!
Dear Users,
today i decided to go back on stock, because my HTC One M8 Volume Buttons got crazy. Sometimes it get loader or silent. In Bootloader its very difficult to get the task i want to do.
It's my first time that i have to do that, and my very first time that i got a problem. My HTC is rooted and the bootloader is unlocked. I tried to get S-OFF so i can change the flag in the Bootloader to LOCKED. (At this time there are these flags: ***Software status: Modified*** ***UNLOCKED***)
Firewater could open the first bottle, but then it told me that I done an OTA and i couldn't do that. So I read that i have to flash an older Kernel. Now I have to commit that I really don't know which one to use. Or is it enough when i flash the RUU and relock the bootloader?
Here my stats:

Try to install them? How exactly are you doing this? It's supposed to be "Restored" not "Installed".
Grab the nandroid for your device, unzip it and place the contents of the folder(Serial number folder) containing the "dd-mm-yyyy--hh-mm-ss --release-keys" folder(In it you'll get system.ext4 or boot.emmc etc files). Place that folder inside your TWRP/BACKUPS/YOUR_SERIAL_NUMBER_FOLDER. Boot into TWRP and select Restore then go to the storage location(internal or external) and it should pick up the backup.
If the directory doesn't exist on your phone, make a backup in TWRP of just the boot(Small enough and it'll be fast) and TWRP will create the directory.
Once it's restored, just flash back the stock recovery fastboot flash recovery recovery_name.img boot into OS and download the OTA's to update your device.
Thanks I get it work

Go to here and look for the RUU that is 3.28.401.7
Where are the full ruu's ? These are updates, kernel sources and binaries ? Or am i wrong here
Maybe the OP has more success in flashing the latest 401 ruu from here

Just flash the latest Lollipop RUU for your phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/general/htc-one-m8-european-signed-ruu-0p6bimg-t2911563
Edit, sorry I just noticed someone else suggested that too, however, if your getting problems flashing it, if you are s-on you will need to re-lock your bootloader first, and you may also need to use the htc_fastboot.exe to flash it rather than standard fastboot: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934550031

Used the htc_fastboot and it worked like a charm
Thanks for all the support.
hey people,
htc m8s seems to be bricked. all of a sudden i have that "Decryption Unsuccessful" failure like here.
But i can't follow the steps in the link, because my bootloader is relocked and i can't unlock it.
i tried it with htcdev (with new unlock_code.bin) and theres no errormessage, but it is still relocked (seems to be normal at this "Devcryption" error).
unfortunately theres no recovery anymore. only the red triangle appears. if i try to flash a new one there is always the signature verify fail. but i must say that i didn't find the right stock recovery for my mainversion (see below).
last thing i tried is to install the stock firmware like here using this zip (most similar to my mainversion that i found):
Code:
0PKVIM[email protected]60201_20.05_018_F_release_479349_combined_signed
but of course it says the mainversion is older and the device is halted due to large image update.
I think its the right way. but i can't find the richt version for me.
could somebody show me where to find the right version or give me some advise?
This is what is shown in the fastboot mode:
