Since getting my S3, I have had a problem scheduling volume profiles in Tasker. The profiles are running (and they worked perfectly on my SII) but the volume levels refuse to change. I have tried several other apps (Profile Scheduler, Volume Control, etc) and they all have similar problems - they execute just fine, but the volume levels stay stuck.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to remedy this? Im looking for a time-based condition to trigger my sound volumes. I am running Ariel with Ktoonsez kernel (if that makes any difference).
Thanks in advance! This has been driving me crazy!

I can just add that on my Samsung S 5, im having almost the same problem. Volume (Alarm, Media and Notification) refuse to change. (The progress bar on the phone doesn't change as well).
Moreover... The task mutes the volume successfully.... Having set volume to 0. But the same task refuses to work when required to change the volume back to original or to maximum.
I cannot help you, but just letting community know that probably the same problem exists on S5 also....
Is there a method to get more granular volume control on the Tab S? I'd like to get another level between muted and the current low volume.
My Tab S is rooted stock.

Heres just what you described....its an Xposed mod that gives you 30 more steps in your volume.

Hello, i need help.
I have a Galaxy S9, SM-G960U1 that i bought directly to Samsung US fully unlocked.
I want to disable the Volume Limiter for when i connect a Bluetooth device, so I go to settings, sound and vibration, volume, and then the 3 dots up the upper right corner y disable the limitator but still when i connect to my car or other Bluetooth device the message of volume limit appears. I have even tried enable in the limiter ans setting it to the max and still the same thing.
I hope some one can help me with these.
thanks.
I also have the same issue.... I believe this worked on the S8 but perhaps it does not for S9?
I have same problem
Hello,
It's my first Xiaomi phone, and after I started to use it I found out regretfully,
that not like Samsung at least, the system and the media volume control are not separated.
As also I found out that the control of the calls and the tapping vibrate are not separated to.
It's very comfortable to me, there is a solution for this issue?
Thanks in advance,
Dov.
Is there a way to lower Vibration intensity on the Moto Edge? All the forums keep talking about reducing the slider settings on vibration, but I can't find any such setting on my phone. Tried different Kernel s/w too (Kernel Aduitor etc), but the setting is missing there as well.
