Loop on new battery - help - LG Optimus G Pro

Hi!
I'm using bountyman rom (so my LG runs a custom). Got 2013 battery yet it somehow started to drain fast - like from 100% to 0 in 30/40 minutes via watching YT in 240p.
While back I've bought the phone, it was sent to me with new? addition battery.
The time of saving ended & decided to put spare one in my phone.
Sadly it won't start at all without charger. If I insert charger nothing happens. Only pressing power button do the job a bit...
By a bit I mean showing LG logo+led flash in a loop of showing it for a sec & goes again with same sequence (not loop of constantly showing LG logo+flash).
So it's faulty & order new one? Help welp.
*it has different V, 3.8 here & my original is 4 something I suppose.

Help Me, Battery Problem ! note 2

Hi to all, i have been using note 2 (not rooted) for past 1 year and i'm happy about it. But recently i have faced an unexceptional problem , a few days back i was testing google camera app, i was testing different modes for example panaroma mode and when my cell was processing the image it's screen suddenly went black and it started booting up, i was amazed but then i thought it must have been some issue with the software But my phone got stuck on the booting loop, as soon as the samsung logo appears it starts the whole booting procedure again. i tried different things but nothing helped.( i have two batteries) so i replaced the one which i was using during that session with the other one and now this time my phone booted up properly, then i charged the culprit battery in external note 2 charging kit ,normally it takes 3 hours but this time it took 6 hours for the complete charging ,when i again tried with the culprit battery my phone got stuck again in the boot loop since that day i have been trying to boot my phone with that battery but nothing has helped .. while my phone is working and booting properly on the spare battery so kindly help whats wrong with the battery.
Lately many batteries malfunction activities been going on. It's strange. It seems like something (software) is bugging the batteries or simply just the old ones dying. ..There is nothing one can do when the battery is out.

Had that issue with my other battery. It's probably a battery fault. You can throw (or recycle ) it now.
N7105 rocking AOSB with AGNi kernel,
Click "Thanks" if I was of any help!
On the Sony PSP there was a nice app which was reading the information from your battery. Simple info but it was helpful for creating Pandora. Is there no app on android which could do this from recovery? Someone who have his battery bugged could try to read that information and check why could those problems occur.
Edit : now I remember, to create the so called Pandora battery to the battery eprom has be written serial number ffffffff and after that you can't use your battery anymore in normal mode. It just didn't boot.
Or maybe those batteries just dying.

[Q] Problem with battery?

I've been away from the Xperia S forums for about 4 months now, since my Xperia S died. I've been using a Samsung Galaxy S II, but i'm pretty tired of it, don't like amoled screens, battery issues, constant reboots, radio problems and it goes on and on.. SO I want to try to revive my Xperia S.. Here is what happened:
4 Months ago, I had just finished flasing a Paranoid Android ROM (4.4.2 KK) and was setting up the phone, had just finished installing some apps and was testing some CPU Governors, I/O Schedulers and things like that, running AnTuTu and Quadrant benchmarks. In the middle of an AnTuTu bench, the phone just shut down (with about 50% battery left) and woudn't turn on again. When connecting the charger, the LED woudn't light up, the phone wouldn't vibrate, Vol Up + Power wasn't working, coudn't enter recovery/download modes. Hard bricked. So I opened up the phone and removed the battery, tryed plugging in again and nothing, so I left the battery outside the phone for a couple of days. After that, I made a quick "short circuit" with the batter, about 1/2 seconds, and plugged it back in, connected the charger and the phone came back to life. Now I could enter fastboot mode, so I re-flashed the stock .96 using Flash Tool, re-rooted, and re-flashed a newer build of Paranoid Android and everything was working fine again. I managed to backup all my photos and documents, and left the phone charging overnight while downloading some apps from the Play Store. When I woke up: dead again, but this time it's different. When I connect the charger the RED LED lights up, but it turns off after a couple of minutes. The rest is exactly the same: can't enter recovery, can't boot, can't fastboot, Vol Up + Power isn't working.. So I took off the battery and tryed a short circuit again, but this time nothing happend.. The first time the the cables heated up quickly and this time nothing happened. So I don't know what exactly is going on. Is the battery completely dead (2 years old phone)? Or is my device unable, somehow, to charge the battery? If there is no charge at all, the short circuit won't work.
Anyone with any experience or any guess? I'm searching for a new battery so I can test it but it's kind of expesive here, about 60USD. I can't stand the SGS2 anylonger, and I'm not buying any phone until the Snapdragon 810 shows up.
I'm having a similar problem: After installing uCyan everything except the battery drain (irrational jumps in the curve) seemed to work. Then at some point the phone died and now is in a charging (red light, some minutes), bootup loop. Sometimes it reached the sys to then instantly die again. I was able to get into TWRP when I fortunately saw the next bootup. But the battery is too low to get stock or any other recovery back. So everything seems broken. I have tried with two USB cables. The phone/battery is over 2 years old.
If any further actions could help, please let me know. Would also love to revive this phone.

try the rubber band trick from here.
Ok I will try rubber band trick then. I think I already did it two times. I would have liked to avoid flashing the stock.ftf back and then doing again the unlocking, rooting and custom ROM flashing.

I thought You hadn't done that. You don't need to unlock bootloader again even if You flash stock ftf. And if You intent to flash a Kitkat or Lollipop based ROM, then You can simply skip rooting and all and follow the method from here.

LG G3 Dead

Having a bit of a nightmare day! I have a 855 G3 and have had it around 18 months. Its rooted, and has been running ok.
Today, I was using the phone, then had to do something. When I went back to it, it was off and wont come back on.
I have tried lots of things - removing battery and plugging in, leaving battery out for a while, trying to plug in without battery, holding down various buttons in various sequences, pluging into the PC - and nothing at all.
One time I took the battery off and plugged it in, I did get a display that indicated there was no battery installed. I then put the battery one and a charging screen came up for a few moments, then it went dead again.
Anything else I can try, or has it got to go off for repair?
I saw this http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/general/guide-fix-hard-brick-recovery-guide-t3132359 but I don't want to do that if I can still get a repair under warranty.
Its bought from Amazon Germany and I have to send it back to them, they are happy to repair it. Is it going to be a problem that its been rooted?
One last question. I need to buy a cheap, but reasonable phone to keep me going in the meantime. Any suggestions? Saw a Moto G 2nd gen.
same thing happened with me as well Mine is US Cellular G3
the diff is
I was trying to boot in recovery ( TWRP , mine was rooted ) but it looked as if TWRP was gone to i pulled battery and restarted and used the native AUTOREC app to reinstall TWRP once done when i tried to boot in recovery
my phone never woke up
and its still in same state
( you were lucky to see charging screen for a few seconds , but i instead just see that empty battery screen when i plug it in without battery , that too goes away once i plug the battery inside
guyz plz help

I think I have tried everything now. Ordered a new battery to try, which should arrive in the next few hours but I am not holding my breath. So, looks like its got to go back to Germany and hopefully they will repair or replace it!

Too bad , and yes believe me new battery might not solve it , but then keep your fingers crossed.
all the best
New battery just arrived. So, I put it in and it started to boot! The LG logo came up, I got excited and then....bang turned off! Very strange.
Sort of the same happened to me today. Let's hope is battery.
My G3 shut down suddenly although battery was at apologize 75%, blue screen and splash logo and flickering and then black screen.
After some time I managed to boot up and then 2-3 minutes later...off again. Repeating procedure, booting up and then immediately booting twrp. I thought something is wrong with my setup: fulmics 3.7 and xceed kernel latest nightly; managed to restore a backup (stock rooted MM) and everything was fine.
Phone boot up normally, apps beginning to update, made a few calls...and then...boom...shut down with the same flickering to blue screen. I hope is battery issue related. My phone is from August of 2014 and a bit abused since December (MM update).

Same here, no recovery, no download mode, nothing... I've tried shorting the pins and using boardiag (tests are all PASS except for SDRAM which I've been told it needs a power source to boot the device a.k.a battery ) so i highly suspect it's a battery thing
Sent mine back today. Got a Moto G to keep me going in the meantime.
Mine is now on the way back to me after a quick turnaround. Not sure what they have done to repair as can't log on to the repair tracking website for some reason, but will find out next week when it arrives.
Still waiting, but I now have the repair report. The phone they are sending back has a different serial number, so I presume they are sending a new/refurb phone?
I've sent my phone(with the same symptoms) last week in service under warranty although it was rooted and from service center I have a tracking information that it was repaired (probably mobo replaced). So, I will know for sure in a couple of days
Try connecting it to PC without battery, you notatras that it decteta pc , if so you are lucky , you step tutorial, the files are only for d855

Lg G3 won't power on or charge

I have a LG G3 D851 from T-Mobile. I had it from about two years now. It upgraded to Android M about a year ago and now the phone won't charge or turn on. I tried everything. First I tried to hard reset' but nothing. Next I tried refrigeration. The phone would start up and go to homescreen, but then freeze and shut off. I even bought a new battery, but it would still have the same problem. Sometimes tne phone would start and shiw that screen on but nothing on it, and it would also turn on and turn off then show the led flash red and blue. When I charge it, it would show the battery loading up and shut down, then the phone would keep restarting. Like I said, tried every thing. If anyone could help me that would be great.
Thanks

I would start with replacing the battery. It has been a wbile since i have had a g3 but this was a common issue. The batteries were known to bassicly just keel out
The solution is a simple one.
1 remove battery
2 connect charging cable (I am not kidding)
3 power in the phone
4 the phone will try to boot
5 it will fail to boot or maybe it will boot
6 insert battery while the charging cable is still attached
7 power the phone
8 the phone will boot and show 100% battery
9 reboot phone
The next video shows my phone working without the battery...

LG G4 death need help fixing

Long story short my g4 died about 2 years ago, has been sitting since. Just one day it wouldn't turn on and I was already fed up with the QoL with the g4 so I swapped.
It has a lot of pictures I really want so I started messing with it. Plugged in, said battery at 0% please charge before powering on. Wouldn't charge at all after a day on this plug so I ordered a new battery. With this new battery I can't even get to this screen, it just boots up and gets stuck on a black screen while vibrating nonstop. Figure maybe something internally won't charge the battery so I have an external charger on its way here. I decided if that doesn't let it power on, then it's likely a bad mobo. Which leads me to my question: how do I get my pictures? Replacing the mobo won't work AFAIK because the storage is on it

Try SALT within download mode (see my sig).
Do a custom backup and choose userdata .
If you cannot get into download mode anymore check the bootloop fix list (see my sig)

I can't do any of that. Can't get into download mode or anything. Is there some way of getting into the devices storage without powering it on or replacing motherboard? I honestly don't give a **** about the phone, I just want the pictures.
I've tried everything except for the stove...
Update: auxiliary phone charger got here, When I try to boot into booloader/recovery it FEELS like its getting into it, but no display shows. Don't know what vibrations omit for X mode, but considering buying an LCD screen rep.
Update 2: Managed to get the LG startup logo to show. Just kept pulling the battery, holding power for 60 seconds w/o sim card or sd card, putting battery in and holding power again, then it finally showed up! Stayed for about 10 seconds then went back to black screen, any ideas what this means and where it's pointing me to fix?
