Rooted m8 running t mobile firmware upgrade problem - T-Mobile HTC One (M8)

Hey. I've searched the forums and I might have a unique problem. I had twrp on it and I loaded into it and flashed a rom . The nV rom and it did not go successfully ?. Now it just keeps booting into recovery and all my files are still there. It has an sd card and I can usb otg but no access to computer. Is there a stock image i can flash? A lot of the images i see are .exe . I like this phone or was awesome. wondering if someone can lead me in the right direction .

After several tries still in bootloop - HTC One X

Hi Community,
I have a massive problem and I hope you can help me.
I rooted my HTC One X successfully and tried to flash custom roms on it which kind of worked. I put the zip folder on the internat sd card and flashed it without flashing the boot.img.
Finnaly I found out to do that, flashed the boot.img but while installing the ROM the problem code/status 7 appeared and I had to restart the phone in order to put the right rom onto the phone, which i had on my computer.
But while booting, the phone just got stuck in bootloop showing the HTC logo.
I already tried quite a lot of stuff to rescue my phone, for example to restore the nandroid backup - didnt work, flash another backup onto phone - still bootloop, flashed a new rom with boot.img - still bootloop.
The only solution i could find was to unroot the device and flash the stock rom onto it.
Is that really my last resort or is there another way?
Thanks for your help.

(CWM zip,Bootloop,SD)Bootloop recovery after setting wrong permissions-Alcatel 4030X

Hi Guys.
I need to recover my phone from a bootloop, which may be down to me changing folder permission .
I have been reading loads of stuff about flashing custom recoveries, but I seem to be going in loops myself, and I am about to brick my brain !!
So what I need to know is which recovery can I use successfully with my Alcatel 4030X ?
I would prefer to flash a zip file of it from the external SD card, as my the USB port randomly disconnects devices (also my phone shows up as a MTP device since the bootloop started)
Is CWM compatible with my phone? - The tool (and the posts I am reading ) tend to be geared towards Samsung and HTC models.
Any advice and links to relevant tools would be greatly appreciated.
I really need to get my phone up and running soon, as I need it for work...
Regards
:fingers-crossed:

[Q] Need help un-soft bricking my T-Mobile M8

Hello,
I have an HTC One M8 (T-Mobile) that I had a friend root (he has a PC, I have a Mac, plus he's done it before) and all was going well until I installed a rooted app (I think it was Super SU or something) and my phone went into a boot loop, showing nothing but the HTC logo when I tried to turn it on. I panicked, even though it wasn't the end of the world, as I had just bought this phone from a classifieds source and had no personal info/pictures/contacts/anything on it yet.
However, I am still stuck with a soft bricked phone. My friend suggested going into recovery mode and rebooting (see attached picture) but it didn't help. Then he tried side-loading a ROM onto the device, but his computer (both of them, PCs, and even his brother's PC for good measure) didn't show it recognized the phone anywhere in the file system. And he said he looked EVERYWHERE and tried everything. Then he tried downloading HTC's own proprietary system for installing a custom ROM (I forget what it's called) but his PC wouldn't recognize it, so he couldn't use it either). He all but gave up on trying to restore my phone to how it was after he ran into the last of these problems.
I, however, refuse to believe that with the wealth of knowledge at my disposal via the internet that there is no way to fix this, even though I have a Mac. Is there ANYONE who's patient and Terminal-savvy that can help me get my M8 back to normal working condition? I don't even care about rooting it anymore. Thanks in advance for your instructions/suggestions.
I would just go into TWRP and mount the internal storage as usb, copy a ROM to the phone, umount internal storage and do a full wipe and install the ROM.
Do you want Stock, modified stock, CM??, GPE? you just need to figure out which version of ROM you want.
I think I already tried this...
I was just trying to install the stock firmware via a micro USB but the phone wouldn't recognize it on the micro USB stick in TWRP, is there a reason for this? As I'm assuming a restore to stock firmware is impossible if it can't recognize or read the firmware I'm trying to restore it to. Thank you
Hello? Anyone?

On the road, upgraded firmware but phone won't boot, TWRP gone, HELP!

Hi guys,
I REALLY need some help on this one...! I majorly messed up.. I'm on the road at the moment, which makes this even more difficult.
So I was running CandyRom on the old L firmware. I was getting ready to upgrade to another M Rom (Skydragon).
So I read that, of course, I need to upgrade the firmware. So I stuck 6.12 (6.012? Whatever latest one is) official firmware.zip on the SD, changed its name to Oxxxxx.zip (I can't remember the exact name) and booted into bootloader to install.
Now my problem is that this has (seemingly) wiped TWRP from my phone.
So here are my tools:
Windows laptop.
USB Cable.
(Very slow) internet.
How do I get from my phone being stuck in this state, to installing TWRP again, and being able to flash a rom? I can't directly access the SD card, and I'm not even sure I can ADB into the phone from its current state...
Also, my bootloader says that my phone is 'relocked' if that makes any difference.
Been a while since I've tinkered with all of this... please be gentle. Would really appreciate any help!
Files downloaded so far: TWRP 3.0 .img for one M8...
edit: I've installed HTC USB drivers... trying to download ADB drivers so I can at least use fastboot to get into phone. Let's hope it works...
Meanwhile... please help T_T

I guess I'm using a phone no one cares about anymore, I see no one is commenting on it so it sounds like I should get a new toy
