Go to my buggy vendor rom thread, install twrp via fastboot method, then use that twrp to flash 8.8.9 eu. Simple. If you have any issues, factory reset in the wipe section of twrp and flash 8.8.9 eu again for a clean install.

Is MIUI 10 Global8.8.3 Beta fake?

No, it's xiaomi.eu, just update to 8.8.9 eu and you're golden. Follow my exact instructions above.

I am about the follow this;

Not necessary then?

I'm no expert, just trial and error while reading and helping others. Don't do either. Go to my buggy rom thread and simply download 8.8.9 eu rom first. It doesn't have ARB. See how you like it. It is the the most stable beta weekly in my opinion thus far.
Miui 10 Stable is simply 10 stable
Miui 10 Beta Weekly (8.9.20 - latest) is the 10 beta (more recent with more updates). I would stick with beta weekly. Ignore the 10 stable thread many users don't care for it and have jumped from that to beta weekly.
They're the same, one is just beta with more updates. Think of Firefox (Miui 10 stable) and Firefox Beta (Miui 10 Beta Weekly).
If you absolutely want to be on the latest (you risk ARB), you can follow my steps above to the previous user but just download 8.9.20 zip instead and flash in twrp.
Steps:
1) Fastboot flash TWRP as your recovery image (instructions are in my buggy vendor rom thread)
2) Download and place your rom zip file of choice (8.8.9 eu or 8.9.20 eu) in your internal storage
3) Reboot to TWRP, select Install, select your rom zip file, and Flash.
4) Wipe cache and dalvik cache
5) Reboot

the table is wrong it says mi max 3 has ARB. just fyi for everyone else. this 8.8.9 doesnt have ARB.
and i think i can follow your steps, quite easy. because i have 8.8.3 EU already and bootloader unlocked, i dont have to go through china rom first. just twrp and flash rom. cool. will try tonight

done. im on EU 8.8.9 beta weekly thanks @opasha
after flashing rom actually i came across encryption issue, how to solve: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads...ted-and-cant-be-completed-after-reboot.45640/

You mean you did the following?:
"You must format data with f2fs. On twrp go to wipe, then, right click on format data. Tape YES, and format data. If needed, reboot recovery one Time before."
This solves the encryption issue.

Can I install MIUI 8.7.26 (MIUI10) without worrying about ARB?

I have a Redmi Note 5 Global with MIUI 9.5.19, and I want to install 8.7.26 (MIUI10) because I can't unlock my bootloader yet (14 days to go).
My question is: can I do that safely without bricking my device? And can I go back to MIUI 9.5.19 if I wanted to?
Thanks!
I did same thing and it worked flawlessly.

Just update through the phones settings with the zip file. You might need to try different MIUI 10 versions. There is always only one version you can go to from your current MIUI 9 version. Took me 4 tries but now it's working great

I flashed MIUI 8.7.26 through the method you mentioned without issues, but it has so many bugs, especially with notifications on lockscreen that bother me so much. Do you know if I can revert back to global stable MIUI 9 with the same method without issues with ARB?

GSI ROM Testing (8.1.0)

Successfully flashed emui 8.0 on usa variant without need to rebrand by using hurupdater WOOT AND zero issues encountered
Step 1. all i did was fastboot flash system of 64bit A only gsi resurrection remix
Step 2. make sure you are using stock recovery from huawie and fromat data.
Step 3. reboot && profit
EDIT: side note, apparently people on here are asking if this is for real or not lol. heres a screenshot in here https://imgur.com/a/depZugF
i have tested this rom for about 6 hours and as of now its smooth as butter, havent had a single issue (yet).
pretty sure if you are using emui 8 you are golden to install whatever Aonly GSI you want.

is themes apps working for you? flashing emui 8 via huru will give incomplete flash.
This was possible for the US variant ( L24) since July. It was mentioned couple times before. I think using hwota is a cleaner way of upgrading.
How do you do it?, Where is the links of the files?
thanks for responses, i updated the op and hopefully that is a bit more informative.
let me know if it is confusing at all and ill try to fix it
Can i flash p gsi.? (havoc 2.0)
And.. Is volte working..?
If I am not wrong I think volte will not work on any custom roms except for a stock based custom room because Huawei hasn't released source for it. Dunno I could be wronf

It's not a custom rom... It's gsi
anyone tested other gsi? i only tried open kirin roms
are you sure it didn't rebranded? at about information, it say bln-24 or bln-al20? it could brick the phone, I thinks is better using the emui 8 from india instead the china version
hey guys, any A ONLY GSI ROM should work. i used treble resurrection remix NOT openkirin as the op states.
and i DID NOT rebrand, it states in rom info i am BLN-L24 -thats usa ver.

Searching for "hwota7" gives you this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6x/development/hwota7-hwota8-honor-6x-t3792601
In short, all you have to do is put the oreo firmware files (L22 version, not the Chinese version) in the update folder and run the batch script. Choose L24 region during the process and you're done. I've done this at least couple dozen times as I frequently test out all treble ROMs as they're released/updated, and sometimes go back to nougat in case I find something that's not compatible with oreo. But all in all, this oreo ROM is very stable and is my daily driver.

During your testing, which ROM has been the most stable in terms of daily-driver use so far? Last year after getting this 6x I tried a few different ROMS, back before OpenKirin happened, and had nothing but problems with boot loops and etc so I went back to stock EMUI5. Few days ago I got B365 and then B376 via OTA after installing the Huawei software on my PC. This phone really makes me miss my S5 with LineageOS.

step-by-step how to install the MIUI 10 - PIE without losing the data?

Can anyone provide a step-by-step how to install the MIUI 10 - PIE without losing the data?
Each one I ask passes me different information and I can not come up with a solution.
I am using MIUI 8.1 and I have installed Recovery Oragen Fox 9.0.1. What do I have to do to install MIUI-PIE now?
If I want to go back to MIUI-OREO, what do I have to do?

Also, if you want to go back you will have to flash global 10.2.2 via xiaomi flash tool

use a previous version of orangefox one for oreo. i beleive 9.0.1 has pie support. if you use this youll end up in fastboot screen.
so use oreo twrp not new ones that support miui pie..
follow rom installation then flash with oreo support twrp. when it boots. then install now orangefox with miui pie support. follow instructions and flash.
to go back you need a fastboot rom and mi flash.. as long as you use same ARB use masik xiaomi.eu they are firmware less.

Question Is MIUI 12.5 enhanced worth it?

I am currently using Mi 11X (aliothin) running on Pixel Experience. The rom is pretty smooth, but is still a bit buggy at places and lacks stock features like the camera, dolby, memc etc. Recently, Xiaomi has been rolling out the 12.5 enhanced edition globally for alioth devices, which supposedly should be very smooth, with great battery life. Can you comment on this based on your experience?
Can you give me a link to that enhanced edition? I have been using Xiaomi.eu Custom ROM with Root, its ok. I would prefer Vanilla Android, but I need some Stock features, like MIUI Dolby Atmos and the camera-app
I have been trying to install it on my Poco F3. I have watched the YouTube videos by Munchy, but I can't get it to work by update or flashing in twrp. Guess I will have to wait until it rolls out to me.

You can only flash with TWRP or recovery stock. "Mi flash" flashes only fastboot roms and 12.5.3. global is not yet available in fastboot.
But I don't know if the flash of a beta works well.
If you do, let us know how it went.
Good flash ...
If anyone download, does this finally have performance mode toggle inside battery?

I don't like the answers you've got... It should be possible to flash via miui directly . That's the best way if possible as you will avoid all the potential bugs and slowdowns from the buggy twrps we have....
Open settings , about phone , open updates and tap on the center of the screen on the picture above where it says 12.5 lots of times just like how you open developer options - you have to click like 5-10 times idk....
Afterwards it will say additional options unlocked , click on top right menu , click on choose update package and point it towards the miui download.
It should work...

Tried it now and unless ur on global rom it automatically fails the check , on poco f3 even if u are on global rom it biches about closed beta and doesn't instal... mi11 should be able to install based on yt...
Nebrassy twrp gives error 7 but vasi twrp gives no error and installs without issues - flash reboot to bootloader , boot twrp by cmd and wipe data. Only after all this boot system.
I'll try to install official way asap but for now it looks like it's doing alright.
Performance mode is there - so to answer original question YES. It's more than worth to install enhanced edition. For me it's a must
edit: Might also work regardless of recovery being twrp as it installs while phone is booted up , upon reboot it should replace twrp w stock recovery but idk if there will be any ilent bugs from doing it like that... I prefer flashing clean rom first then flashing anything else afterwards

I imagined that with the traditional method it would not work due to verification, because after this post I read that the beta is intended for those who are part of the beta test program with their account.
I also figured that the stock flash would overwrite the twrp.
I am glad that the rollout of the enhanced version has begun, thanks for your valuable information regarding twrp.
My f3 has less than 48 hours to unlock the bootloader and I can't wait to try new roms. If the fastboot version is released in these two days I try to flash with miflash.

IDK, but after installing the latest OTA update ( 12.5.3.0) Enhanced Version,
1: My device reboots randomly, sometimes boots into fastboot mode.
2: No noticeable change in battery performance.
3: Themes & Icons Packs won't work properly.
4: Cant choose to re-install the same OTA from the update section.
5: Fixed bugs related to Haptics & Launcher.
Overall, No noticeable improvement in end-user experience.

Your phone was born with the global?

Question Xiaomi EU to Official Miui

I am currently running Xiaomi Eu version 13.0.9 stable with twrp 3.6.2_12-pocof3_v6.3_a12.

Can I switch without data loss to official Miui? (my bank is annoying dont want to go through hassle of phoning them to re setup)
thanks in advance

Only if you flash the same version or higher.
I just ran the latest weekly and it works like a charm , your twrp should be 3.7 skkkk and you can install miui 14 recovery global through twrp but I would suggest a format and not a dirty flash since your going from a china rom to a global have funnnn!
There are 2 TWRP(SKK):
1/twrp-3.7.0_12-v7.2_A12-alioth
2/twrp-3.7.0_12-v7.2_A13-alioth
His system is currently in A12, he can continue with version 3.6.2 12 or update it to 3.7.A12 and flash an A13 recovery rom.
Or use Miflash *** and lock the bootloader, which will avoid rooting + magisk to have the playstore certified.
***Erases your data and only if not K40.

I believe that you will loose your data unless if the same ROM with similar version number is installed.
Xiaomi eu ROM does not have any deep problem. I'm on one of the latest DEV releases for sometime.
It is rooted by magisk 25.2 and recovery is TWRP skkk v. 3.7
Here are links to posts for recovery and ROM (official, not eu).

Like you want.
Won't re-lock and you will need to install TWRP A13 after flash.
I'd reckon you try a fresh install on Xiaomi.EU's latest rom first before flashing to the Global version.
Most bugs and glitches are fixed with a fresh install of Xiaomi.EU.
By fresh install I mean use XiaoMiFlash (Fastboot) to the latest official China stable rom (14.0.5.0), then wipe all via TWRP and then Fastboot flash the latest Xiaomi.EU rom (14.0.5.0).
For me; Global rom is too bloat, has too many features missing and less smooth versus Xiaomi.EU's rom.

Not much use since for a first installation you must format the data with the Twrp or use the first install.bat script included in the folder extracted from the zip.
Right, my bad. Clean install is the way to go though, Devs at Xiaomi.EU always recommended this to me versus dirty flash.
I clean flash with every major update, except from 12 to 12.5 (no Android change) with Xiaomi.EU's roms.

Yep, for the change of Miui or Android version, it is preferable to do a clean flash or mandatory in the event of a downgrade (weekly to stable).
