I have LG nitro HD locked to AT&T, I have cyanogenmod ROM. I do have unlock code.
I'm trying to carrier unlock, but when I insert "not accepted" SIM card it doesn't ask for unlock code.
So I try the other method - dial 2945#*930# and nothing happens.

This morning i woke up and for whatever reason i attempted once again the request for permanent unlock of my MetroPCS LG Q7+ through the MetroPCS Unlock App. This time it worked, and it was approved and unlocked. Does this allow us to custom rom and root?
It's a carrier unlock to use any sim other then MetroPCS.
