So... I just recently installed a bt a2dp compatible stereo receiver in my car and when bluetooth audio is connected it sounds mediocre/ok.. BUT I remember several years ago on windows mobile phones being able to increase bitpool or something in the registry that largely improved a2dp sound quality .. I've been out of the loop on A2dp as of late .. is there any similar hacks or roms that provide higher quality a2dp? Anyone... anyone....
What type of headunit. I know that sony has the option when you adjust bass/treble, etc that a bluetooth option is available to boost the input via BT. I used that in my wife's vehicle.
It's a Kenwood Excelon receiver / KDC-x996 .. and I am able to adjust treble/bass on the headunit when connected via a2dp .. and it does sound ok.. but I remember when adjusting the bitstream/bitpool the audio quality would go from ok and flat to near cd quality .. it really was very noticeable.
hi,
i own an audi car wich has a built in hands free bt system, that allow me to make and receive my call through the audio system.
Do you know if it s possible (if there is a trick) to also play music on my mobile and liesten to it on my audio sound system over bt connection?
thxx for helping
best regards
no clues anybody?
Your car audio system has to be capable of A2DP streaming. Check your owner's manual.
Yep check manual. My car (not audi) supports it and its accessed via the aux button which cycles through line in, usb and BT audio. If yours doesnt support it then you can get a Parrot system or similar installed. Mate just got one done and it works well as you probably dont want to rip out the built in audi system and put in a head unit with bluetooth streaming.
Thxxx, doesn t seems to work, i guess that s why they sell a specific module for plug ipod with optic fiber..... $$$$$
might have to get one one day...
How is bluetooth performance with this device? Does it work well especially when paired with car bluetooth systems for phone calls and audio streaming?
I am on Pie 9.0.5, but wonder why the maximum connected Bluetooth audio devices is still only showing option of maximum 2, instead of 5.
Hi,
I just bought this watch, and I have a problem with my car Bluetooth connection.
The problem is that when I enter the car, the multimedia audio is set to car speaker, even if in the Bluetooth properties I disabled multimedia audio for this connection because I want that the audio remains on the phone.
Before this watch, I had an Android Wear watch and the car Bluetooth connection worked fine, the audio remained on the phone.
Since I have this watch the audio goes to the car speakers. If I enable and disable again the multimedia audio for the car connection properties then the audio correctly remains on the phone, but I have to do this every time.
Someone knows how I can make the audio remain on the phone?
