Recently i have updated my onyx with PA 7.3.0. now am started to face the network Connectivity issues in my carrier operator and as well in wifi. It's keep on dropping at times. And even if i toggle on the data Connectivity via Carrier operator (Jio) or through my wifi it doesnt changes. Just showing as not connected in network indicators . Is there anyone facing the same issue...?? And is there any fix released by Paranoid android team
OnePlus 3T. I can confirm. I've moved from stock stable firmware to PA 7.3.0 now I'm constantly experiencing cellular network issues, mostly in 3G (4G, more or less, works as expected), and I've never had something like this before on original firmware. The carrier is Digi.Mobil (Romania)
i am facing poor network reception issues on my OP5T, OOS 5.0.4 , Rooted with Magisk.
Issue is when i am inside any building , be it any office or home it does not matter. Signal shows 3-4 bars but the voice keep breaking. If i go out in the open it works and no issues at all. This is not a Provider issue, i have Airtel, Idea,Vodafone and Jio sims and all behave the same way.
I have done a Factory reset, deleted all data and did a fresh install of the OS but still the issue persists.
Can some one tell if there is a custom rom that will resolve this issue or if there is any other tweak to increase indoor network reception?
I am based in Hyderabad, india.
Appreciate if experts provide any insight .
I expierence the same even with 4 bars reception is horrible not sure if there is any way to fix this
Appreciate Any help experts.
This is becoming a major problem now
Hi all,
I have two sim cards inserted in my Lenovo P2. I don't get any signal from either SIM when I am at my home but it works outside although the network is a bit weak. I then removed the SIMs and inserted it in two different phones just to check and they worked . Is there something that can be done for this? I am currently on LineageOS 14.1 but had the same issue on Stock ROM as well. I've attached a screenshot and you can see that the network signal is not so great.

I haven't encountered any problems with signal fluctuations on stock rom, but it was a long time ago that I used stock rom before. There is random network drop in LineageOS, which will be fixed soon. I recommend you to flash AEX rom, I have seen signal strength improvement in the change-log of AEX latest build. It is just a suggestion, don't know whether it will work or not.
I tried the AEX rom but I do not see any noticeable improvements in network. The problem is so severe that I cannot use the device as my main driver anymore as I missed a lot of calls due to that. Resorting to use a secondary mobile for calling.
Is anyone else noticing this persistent issue across all the Pie ROMs where the phone doesn't ring when you're on LTE/4G?
If I set my phone to WCDMA preferred it locks to 3G and this seems fine. Calls are as normal.
On LTE the caller gets the usual connection tones and it seems like my phone is ringing to them, but it goes to voicemail.
On my end the phone fails to ring at all.
Didn't experience this with Oreo ROMs at all, but its been consistent across Pie.
I have seen a couple of complaints about it but maybe it got solved?
I'm not talking about VoLTE which is known to not work after the first reboot on Pie ROMs. My carrier doesn't support VoLTE.
I noticed that on official LOS 15.1, my carrier also does not yet support VoLTE so LTE should be dropping automatically to 3G when receiving phone calls but that is not happening and it goes to voicemail. This is the only reason why i returned back to MIUI.

I seem to have solved it by totally disabling Volte from build.prop with a magisk module.
Seems the phone wasn't reporting to the network that it was only expecting calls via 3g
So right now I can't basically make calls on T-Mobile (mint mobile) without volte or WiFi calling not that it matters because it drops the internet connection on my home wifi frequently. Is there a rom where stuff just works ?
