Yee it is possble to relock, but you have to do so by using the mi flash tools to flash the xiaomi fastboot rom and tick the box called "clean all and lock" before you flash it

Thanks.
That can be done by my account or it requires any authorized account of Mi?

A lot of users have locked bootloader on Global 8.0.3.0 rom, which can not be unlocked in regular way without deep flash cable (for installing china rom for example). In near future (if they do not delay again) we will have Global developer rom for Xiaomi mi 5s, so simple question is, can we install that rom with updater app even with locked bootloader?
Install Global 8.2.1.0 (en.miui.com/thread-567657-1-1.html). There you can enter the unlock informations in developer options.
I think that rom can not be verified when installing with updater app. With Mi flash I can not install because I have locked bootloader...
However, that was not my question... I asked can we install global dev with updater app if our bootloader is locked?

You can install the fastboot version (not recovery) of the rom through miflash. In fact, that is the only way to go from global stable to china developer with locked bootloader or at least the only way I know. The global developer has been delayed.

So, if I understand you, china developer & global developer can be flashed with Mi flash even my bootloader is locked?

I still think you need to deep flash in order to do this.

Nah, you really need deep flash for this or expect for OTA (which has been delayed so long).
I must wait for OTA only to bound account to device in developer option, to unlock bootloader...

That was the only way I managed to unlock the bootloader, by installing te developer ROM. The updater app didn't work, neither did MiFlash.
I will wait for OTA, because I do not have deep flashe cable and do not know how to flash with that cable....
Hey, developer global is available and you can install just download the file and use updater app
I can confirme that, did the update with de updater app and everything went fine
Thanks
Just installed global beta and gonna try to unlock bootloader...
EDIT:
Bootloader unlocked... If anyone got error "Binding time is too short...", just use older version of Mi flash unlock tool, or wait given time to unlock bootloader.
Which older version of Mi flash?
What is the ver number of it?

Just update to Global beta with updater app (before backup everything, because is gonna delete data), than you can unlock your bootloader...if you have permission from Xiaomi, of course...On Miui 8.0.3.0 you can not unlock bootloader.

Hello, I have a CAN-L11 smartphone, I had my bootloader unblocked and TWRP installed, I flash SuperSU.zip with TWRP, but my phone got bootloop, I tried restaure twrp boot backup, but dont worked, later i tried flash images with minimal fastboot, but in my bootloader it was written "FRP LOCK ", so I did flash the stock recovery image by TWRP, to try flash with the folder " dload> update.app "(CAN-L11C432B382) with volume up + down and power button, all at the same time at 40% the installation gives error. So I tried reload bootloader for unload bootloader and FPR together, but it did not work. I really can not boot my phone, I can not flash in fastboot mode and I can not unlock FRP (Factory Reset Protection)
Please help me!
PS: Sorry my bad english
There is a tool called DC unlocker which can unlock frp but it is paid.
All I can say is that I had to use their tool to unlock my bootloader, because Huawei site wasn't working for me (I waited almost a month and their registration didn't work).
So, i guess you can try it [emoji14]

is there another way that it's really possible to unlock Factory Reset Protection behind fastboot without buy DC Unlocker?
if FRP is locked BUT phone is unlocked, you made a mistake when unlocking it the first time...
if you did unlock it with your emui code,
RE LOCK your device by installing original firmware...
then unlock again but READ CAREFULLY the page appearing...you have to VOL. down to select the right thing (dont remember exactly )

Try do Unlock your bootloader again.
Try to use SRK Tool for Huawei but do not do anything unsupported!
I can Confirm that Unlocking Bootloader with Emui Code Works with that tool. -->https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=24572369242686768
After that, get the latest Firmware Package for CAN11, Unpack UPDATE.APP inside *.zip with Huawei Update Extracor here --> https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433454
Flash Factory Images via Fastboot. ( Boot.img / Recovery.img / System.img should be enough)
Done.
Good Luck!
P.s.: Do NOT Flash SuperSU. To Obtain Root use phh's Superuser. Tutorial here.: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nova-plus/development/recovery-unofficial-twrp-huawei-nova-t3523473
Hello guys, I'm on LineageOS. I want to go back to Oxygen OS. But I can't because of my locked bootloader.
I did try to connect with the pc via adb: "Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" and it's says everytime bootloader is locked enable OEM. I know the OEM is in the Developer Options but not for me. It's not available.
What to do now?
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
It will wipe all of your data.

Yes, that means it's not enabled in developer options.
Now you say you don't have that OEM option available in the developer options - are you sure you've turned developer options on? If not do as @gorillaCF says above.
If you have done that and still don't have the option then back everything up, do a factory reset and try again immediately after that.
Flash factory images and go back to clean stock. Boot OOS and enable oem unlock in dev options

Flash with locked bootloader? Is this possible?
What's broken with TWRP? What happens when you boot to recovery? Do you have adb access in any sort of recovery state?

do that.
LineageOS 15.1 doesn't have the OEM unlock feature. Normally, if you temper with the system and lock the bootloader it won't boot at all making this option useless. At least that's what I've experienced. As others stated you can only use the unbrick tool which will definitely work or contact OnePlus for an L2 technician who will use the same tool to do so.
So how did you do this? Did you do "fastboot oem lock" with TWRP and LineageOS on the device?

Why the hell LineageOS 15.1 don't have the OEM unlock? This makes no sense, because now I have a big problem.
Yeah, the unbrick tool I'm lucky but for the others with different devices will not have this unbrick tool. That's very stupid. It will be last time for me, with LineageOS.

Normally, it is impossible to lock it without fastboot. Again, it's not LOS's fault. You should never lock your bootloader if on a custom ROM or modified system. I've been running LOS 15.1 for almost a week and never had such an issue.

Sorry sir, but the factory Images means stock ROM and stock recovery.
Can't flash both
Why there is no backdoor for this situation? Why is this not possible, that you need by Factory images no unlocked bootloader. That would fix many problems.
Unlock bootloader, flash global rom version that's higher than china rom, don't relock bootloader, anything else? Need authorised account?

You only need authorized account to flash in EDL mode(which only the service center guys have). To flash via fastboot mode you don't need authorized account.

ok then you are using xaiomi phone so make mi account and request for unlocking bootloader then find a custom rom and flash it according to what developer has said.
