Hi,
Currently using a Z2 Pro row, but since the lack of OS improvement from Lenovo, I'm looking for a new phone.
I like the P1, but i'm confused. There's P1, P1m and P1 Turbo. I want the P1 Turbo but the row version.
Some advertise as 3gb ram and 16gb storage, read somewhere that the oficial is 3gb and 32gb storage.
What is the row version of P1 Turbo? Is P1a4a?
Need your help to clarify my doubts.
Thank you
They are almost the same phones. Difference is in memory size. Indeed Lenovo made much mess with Vibe P1.
Do not buy P1m - it is completely different phone with 5" display

Thank you for your reply.
I have another question.
I would like to know if P1C72 ROW, has all lte bands or which lte bands he has?
A ROW rom will only work on a ROW phone, correct? I mean, if the phone is CN won´t accept or work with a ROW rom, or am I wrong?
Thank you

Simply: you are wrong
I have c72 (originally CN phone with 3GB RAM ) and I use a42 ( originally ROW 2GB RAM ) ROM without any problems.
They are hardware 100% the same except RAM quantity.

I meant, after flashing ROW p1a42 rom.
Thank you
Hell knows But I thing that it is hardware dependent only.
I consider it complete stupidity to lock any bands if hardware support them.
Hello devs!
I just wanted to know if you guys can port moto g5 custom rom to redmi 3s prime?
It has the same processor i.e. Snapdragon 430 64bit. Our devs our almost students and doesnt get time to fix bugs. We currently have rr based on android n but it has bugs like fp,gps, volte, video recorder.
Please guys let me know if anything can be done.
Thanks
CPU may be the same but other hardware pieces are probavly different so 1:1 swap is not realistic.

Just the Screen Resolution is different as far as i know.
Our device is 32 bit, so it is not possible.

Ya but its supports 64-bit as well.
Is it worth the upgrade. What about battery life and performance. How much of a difference. I'm tempted but would like your advices

To summarize, the Redmi Note 5 beat the Note 3 in all areas (performance, battery life, speed,...).
One advice though: take the Global or Chinese version
Thanks

The China/Global is better in camera (search for tests on Youtube) and is up to date officially with MIUI 9.5 (android 8.1), unlike Indian version which is officially under android 7 yet (but you can found a leaked 8.1 version )...

Every areas get better than the 3
I feel that only camera is better.. however it really depends because obviously a 4gb ram has a higher chance to improve ur user experience depending on ur mobile usage. I got a 3gb/ 32ram which is much cheaper
i just pulled the trigger and got the 4gb 64gb variant
No need to upgrade wait for any great update
I also have a rn3 didn't find that much difference
too late i just purchased it, gonna keep it for android P gesture
is the 3gb/32gb worth ? got an RM4 (Global) an is awesome, but looking to upgrade to a phone with better camera. here in spain the only two models available are 3gb of ram or 4gb ram. since i have an RM4 with 3gb i don't know if the 3gb RAM is a good choice.

ah good for me, i have the global ;D
Well if you can get the bigger ram / storage version hell yes.
I've gone from the note 3 se 3/32 to the note 5 pro 4/64.
Much smoother, battery life after first couple of days comparable, expect the camera to be better but not stellar.
Up to date official os, better screen. Sure there is more good reasons to.

Hey.
Can anyone help me in deciding which phone to get. My daily usage is mostly mails and instant messaging along with maybe 30 minutes of games. Multi tasking is what I need and my current phone heats up a lot while gaming, so please mention any shortcomings of the 5Z. I have been waiting for the 6GB RAM variant of the MAX PRO for a month, still no ETA.
Should I just go ahead and pull the trigger on the 5Z? or Should I wait for the M1 PRO 6GB? I do like stock android and I've read that the 5z RAM management is not good. Please advise.
Thanks and Cheers!
The 5z is way better.
My OP6 was destroyed by water so I've bought a 5z about 3 days back.
It's mind blowing for the price.
Great battery.
Almost minute warming as compared to OP6.
Standby battery drain of only 01.00% (yes, One%) over 8 hours at night. OP6 had over 7-8%.
Amazing speakers dual.
Not a heavy UI. ZenUI 5.0 is very streamlined.
And the features that are there are very useful.
And the AI does play a role in the background which you notice in small details. And it's supposed to get better with use.
I think between the OP6. And the 5Z it will essentially be about your choice between an IPS and Amoled screen. Many people prefer Amoled but I personally prefer IPS because it is more true to life.

Thats great!
I'll wait until the end of this month and see if they launch the 6GB MAX PRO M1. else I'll pull the trigger on the 5Z.
Thanks!
Actually, why not just get the Zenfone 5? Sounds like the most perfectly balanced phone in both price and performance.

yes, get the ZE620KL (Zenfone 5 2018) instead
it have the look and feel of 5Z
but same proc as MaxProM1
performance is better (the OS is fluid)
just the battery is fewer but the QuickCharge always supports u
I ended up buying a 6GB 5Z since I figured I'd treat myself after not buying a new phone for 4 years.
Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
The Zenfone 5 doesn't work well in USA. The signal ain't the greatest.

To all Honor engineers, please add Ram Turbo technology in one of the next updates!

For example: HONOR X9,RAM Turbo 8+2GB,SuperCharge de 66W - Polarhttps://www.honorstore.ec › hono...

Nope. Only on Magic5 Pro.
I currently own Honor X9(ANY-LX2) running A11/MOS4.2 and I think the Ram Turbo is turned on by default, but I can't find the toggle switch in the settings. 8GB ram is more than enough, for me at least as I'm a very light user. I'd rather have storage because this HX9 didn't have micro sd slot.
