Hello, welcome to a great site with loads of info on our model, plus 100's of other android models!
1. Get an APN app from the google playstore, such as Tweakker or Offline Apn, use it to get access to the APN menu then manually add the APN settings you need.
2. You can make changes in that ##DATA# menu, you just need to get your MSL #, when you hit edit, a box pops up, enter the MSL and it will allow you to edit these fields, I only changed 2 fields in that menu MMSC and Multimedia to my carrier.
Hope this helps you out, best of luck!

Thansk for the quick response and welcoming me.
i had installed tweakker but there is not pakistani networks available in that app and about offline APN can you tell me the exact name of the app please.
Thanks
no problem, cheers..... it is called Offline SIM APN Database, use the free version and hit the "search APN settings for this SIM" button, then pick a carrier (any will really work, just to get the menu) , then hit the "Go to Android APN Settings" button there a menu will pop up and you can add a new apn, enter your needed APN settings.

Thanks i have tried this app and it's not saving the apn setting saying problem in creating apn setting
and also tried APN Manager pro.. not working anyone. i i have i think there is not any option are working
it's saying " you are using Ice Cream Sandwich. change is this version no longer allow for the direct writing of APN settings. the setting found will need to be manual copy and pasted. click go to android apn settings. and create a new apn entry then press back button on your device and press the copy button next to the value on the screen. return to the apn entry and paste each value into the new apn one by one" .when i am going there nothing works there is not any option of creating new APN or anything.
find YOUR apn settings for YOUR carrier, open the APN settings menu, add NEW APN, fill out required fields, then you hit the menu button on your phone and choose SAVE APN, it will save and you will have a radio button next to the newly created APN!

I would not upgrade to kk 4.4.2 to fix this issue, I personally would look into changing radios, you might also try doing the SIM unlock tutorial look for the part about making APNs stick.
Are you sure you have root permissions? confirm with root checker, root with ioroot if not

I've got an LG G3 D855, and I've been looking to disable the Dynamic LCD Refresh setting from the hidden menu. Unfortunately, I type in what I've been told is the dialer code to access the 'Hidden Menu' (3845#*855#), but... nothing happens. No menu appears.
I'm running Lollipop 5.1.1, using EuphoriaOS 1.1-d855, and the kernel that came with that ROM. Build number LMY48B, if that matters. It's an international model, as in not tied to any carrier.
Basically, how do I get the hidden menu to appear? Or, can I change the Dynamic LCD Refresh setting without accessing the hidden menu?
Any help is appreciated.
Hello, I am running a Sprint Note 4 with the following ROM -- http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-sprint/development/rom-stock-pg1-bloated-deodexed-t3447044
It is, as the name says, a DeOdexed PG1 version of Marshmallow.
I activated this device today with Sprint. After doing so, I was able to do calling and texting immediately, but I am unable to access LTE mobile data. If I go to my data settings and switch the setting to "CDMA", I am able to obtain 3G. But if I switch it to Automatic or LTE/CDMA -- I get no data whatsoever (The bars icon shows an ! in the bottom right).
I have no idea what could be causing this and could use some assistance.
check your apn settings are correct.
I can't modify my APN settings. When I try to do so, they immediately revert to the stock APN settings. This includes trying to add new ones--they just disappear.
What would cause this?
So I'm fairly certain the issue is related to the inability to update my APN settings. What would I do to remedy this? I can't modify the APN settings. When I try to, the settings don't stick.
I bought my Pixel XL directly from google. I use a carrier called three in the UK and they offered wifi calling using an app called "In Touch". However they are discontinuing the App this month (supposed to be yesterday) because they have enabled wifi calling on their network without the need of an app.
However I am unable to see the option to turn on wifi calling in the settings menu or the dialer menu. Does my carrier need to be enabled in the software from an internal list, or should it simply detect from the network whether wifi calling is supported? I have had mixed messages from three support, one guy telling me it will be enabled for me in a software update, the other saying that unless I have a phone bought from three it won't work.
What are the alternatives, are any Pixel XL UK users using wifi calling? If so what networks support wifi calling for the PIxel XL?
I know there are alternatives, live skype, facebook messenger, whatsapp etc. But would prefer that people could contact me in a consistent way
Many Thanks Chris

Curious
Which Verizion Factory Image did you flash-all?
After you flashed it and got your phone set up, did you flash-all the May 2019 Factory Image?
Did you remove the -w from the flash-all.bat/sh file?

The latest one that's tailored for Verizon phones from Google factory images. You only need to flash it once, boot into the system and let it set it up and do it's thing. Go into settings and it should be there, turn it on and let it activate and after that you can flash whatever you want it'll always be there. And I always clean flash everything.

Go into settings and it should be there, turn it on and let it activate and after that..." Then flash the 9.0.0 (PQ3A.190505.001, May 2019) Marlin Factory Image.
