Hello
Can anyone tell me by chance how to get into recovery mode with my Erisin 7818? I would like to play the Malaysk Rom on it. Have already tried with reset and power, but does not work. When I press Power for a long time the buttons will flash but I'm not coming into vogue.
Regards
When the buttons start to flash, release power for a second and push it again. It should work that way

That's how I did it, but it does not work. The buttons only react when the radio has started up.

I just restore my stock rom with recovery mode. However, i forgot to flash the image before. Then I restarted my phone, it stuck at the HTC welcome screen I can't restart, turn off or do anything with it. I tried to hold the power button for a while but in vain.
Can anyone give me some tips to recovery my phone?
Thank you so much.
Plug phone to pc

Need some help please !
First of all I'm stuck in bootloop with my nexus 7 2013 (not unlocked). So I pluged my N7 in my computer (windows 7) to flash the Rom. I also have a problem with the driver when I connect my N7 to the computer and I get the message (MTP device failed ). So I've tried to install manually new drivers from Google but it says that my drivers are up to date ??? Now It seems that it's impossible to flash my N7 if my computer doesn't recognize my device.
What is the best thing to do now
thanks in advance

Well, it looks like you have a couple of things going on. I can't remember how I got windoze to recognize the n7, but it had something to do with deleting the driver then plugging the n7 back in and letting it install the driver again. I remember I had to play around with the thing for a little while. Trying to update the driver wouldn't work for me either. As, far as the bootloop, you could try this one click tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2381582 Finally, you could try wugfresh's toolkit if you want to take the lazy route. It actually works pretty well. It might even help with that driver issue. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2389107 you don't use it to install a rom, but you do need to install a custom recovery and the toolkit could help with things like that. I personally use the toolkit to return a tablet or phone back to factory condition, lock the bootloader, etc...
You could also try to do a factory reset from the stock recovery. That fixed a boot loop for me after unlocking my bootloader.
Problem solved
I finally contacted Google Canada Monday morning and spoke with with a tech. Wow...very impressed by the service and my problems are now solved. First we went to Recovery mode ( Power and volume down) in that mode you then press again power and volume up and release at the same time. Then, from that menu you can now swipe all data and it solves the Bootloop problem. Finally I reinstalled all my app and back to normal. I pluged my N7 to my computer and now no more driver problem....
Thanks

That's what I was referring to in my post, sorry for not giving a more detailed explanation.
Glad to hear you that you had a good experience with Google support and that you solved your problem. :good:
Thanks for giving feedback and have lots of fun with your N7!
Hello!
I'm stuck in a loop boot too. I flashed without wiping... I try to boot in recovery mode but it's impossible. The combination vol up, down and power doesn't work. It tries to boot as usual so starts in a loop again.

Let me get this straight....are you trying to hold volume up & down at the same time? If so, you cannot please both volumes at the same time. Also, to boot into the bootloader (same as fastboot, not recovery) is power + volume down. The easiest way to do this is to hold volume down, then press and hold the power button. If the tab was on, and the screen goes black, let go of the power button, but keep holding the volume down button. It should boot into the bootloader soon enough.
1. Push volume up and power button for 5 seconds then release the power button.
2. Do a complete wipe of the system and reinstall the system.zip again and reboot.
If it doesnt load the recovery do this.:
1. Hold volume down and power button for 5 sec. Release the power button and volume once you enter the download screen.
2. Use odin in your Pc to install the rom you want or stock rom.
(3. If you installed stock rom go back to the steps I wrote at the top and flash a new rom)
Remember that you need to be rooted.
OK so I was trying with the wrong combination.
With both vol up/down + power worked.
I restored and it's up and running again.
Thanks!

After hold reset button for x seconds you have to release and press immediatly not to wait after reboot.

I have an idea: put on sd an .img file corrupted and try to upgrade mcu..radio will go to recovery and stop here because the file is invalid..after you can put an sd card with what you need to downgrade
Can I just downgrade, because I think it is a different file system under android 8. I can download an app what put the radio into recovery mode, but i’m not sure downgrade is that easy,so I downloaded malaysk rom (android 6) already, do you think it will be strait forward?
Yes I downgraded with a stock rom with make a autostart sd(see the discussion like upgrade) only put sd and wait

HI, my Dasaita MAX10 is in boot loop animation. I want to go to recovery, i see flashing touchbutton pressing reset button at startup (ignition on) but then I can't see recovery even if I release and press the reset button. Does someone have the same issue ?

Hi
I have been wanting to speed up my HTC One M8 for some time now. Doing so i've heard installing a new OS would help, like for instance LineageOS. Unfortunately the volume buttons on my phone are broken due to me opening up the phone to fix certain parts. Everything else is working to its fullest, however the volume buttons seem to be beyond repair. I've looked at quite a few guides to flash an OS rom onto my phone, however all these seem to require me navigating with the volume buttons through the bootloader. Is it possible to either simulate a press on volume buttons perhaps through ADB, or completely install the new OS with the phone fully opened? If you have any ideas i'm open for suggestions, as the phone is starting to get quite slow, however i would appreciate an in-depth guide, as i've worked very little with ADB and such.
Any help is appreciated

No way to simulate a button press, that I know of. You don't have access to adb while in bootloader, anyway . You do have access to fastboot, but that is rather limited.
Getting the bootloader unlocked and flashing custom recovery TWRP with the phone open, is possible I suppose. Then after that, I guess you can conceivably boot TWRP and flash a ROM without the vol buttons. But I'd be really hesitant to mod the phone without working vol buttons. The requirement to navigate with the vol buttons in bootloader, as well as the button combo to force a reboot (power+vol up) or boot to bootloader (power+ vol down) are pretty crucial.

Hello, I tried to install a custom MCU with sound patch and now the unit hardly boots. I got it to boot but it shutted off and I wasn’t able to flash the original MCU. I’ve been trying to get into recovery by holding down the power button until the key backlight flashes three times still holding it for three seconds and then letting go and pressing again.I tried with ADB but still no success. It is a PX30 MTCE LM.
I am sorry I posted this in the wrong place.
