Hello Devs,
I think the new Lollipop version is great but at the moment we only have CM12 ROMs for our S4 Mini. Can someone of you build a pure AOSP Lollipop ROM for our device that other dev's can use as base for other ROMs? I do not like CM and at the moment I'm using SlimKat but it looks like there is no update to SlimLP in the next days so it would be great if someone can build a pure AOSP LP ROM.
I would do it for myself but I have no experiance in ROM development. I found this thread but I'm not sure how to add our device. Also I found this and this repo on GitHub but I do not know which from them (or maybe both?) I need to compile the ROM or if I have to change something on them because they are for CM and not for AOSP. It would be great if someone can teach me these steps because this is often my problem when I try to learn something about Android ROM developemnt.
Yours sincerely
Cilenco
Cm12 at the moment is just aosp, give it a try it's very good
Hi all, I was wondering if there are many Omni 6.0 user out there that would like to test a custom kernel. I currently have a custom kernel going for the OnePlus One that uses the same source. I don't have the device, but anything that could possibly be fatal would kill my treasured OPO first .
Thanks,
Yoooshi
Custom kernel are aways welcome, since Find 7 only had Despair Kernel and it was descontinued and no kernels so far to MM releases (CM and Omni). Thanks for your interest in Find 7 @YoshiShaPow =)

I'd love to test out a custom kernel. Miss being able to use one of those since despairis ccontinued and my old galaxy s2.
I have a find7a running omnirom. I will definitely test it
Didn't work on omni rom. Caused it to hang at the omni logo.
Thinking about moving to a custom rom from stock pie and I'm curious what roms and kernel people recommend. Needing it for daily use so I need it to be good on battery thanks
Hi guys,
I've been in and out of using custom ROMs/kernels for a while now, and finally found a rom I like nearly as much as OOS, so think I'm gonna stick with it a while. It runs well, but battery drains much faster than Oxygen so I want to try a custom kernel, but I know from the last time I tried an aosp based rom it's gonna break the WiFi, though as I understand it there is a fix/workaround?
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or do any of the kernels provide this fix OOTB? I want to know the fix before flashing just to save hassle, I'm using Resurrection Remix Pie v7.0.2, haven't picked which kernel I want yet (open to suggestions) ?
Bluspark if you want to stay close to stock. It's HMP. If you'd like to try out EAS go for Weeb kernel. Both provide the same battery life as stock for my usage and both are great and have great support IMO.

Just check the kernel threads whats. I doubt there is any kernel which would break wifi...
There are a couple of implementations of WiFi module actually. Some kernels have multiple versions like Weeb, and you need to select the right one for your ROM to make WiFi work.
I almost have no time to test roms because my job consumes alot of my time and I need my phone working all the time, so I ask you guys to point me the best android 11 rom + kernel based on your testing...
