Urgent Help: Deep flash Lenovo P2 - Lenovo P2 Questions & Answers

I messed my mobile while trying to flash it using fastboot. Earlier SIM was unable to register on network, and now SIM and WiFi won't show at all.
I have access to TWRP/ADB/FastBoot.
I have tried various solution, but they have failed in one way or another
A) I tried restoring TWRP backup from a file I found on internet, but it didn't fix it.
B) I tried flashall.bat in stock ROM, it fails on modem partition
C) I tried renaming modem partition (NON-HLOS.bin to NON-HLOS.img) and flash it using TWRP but it fails because it's larger than partition size.
D) I tried qboot blank-all, but it is stuck on "Waiting" because Lenovo P2 doesn't show up in serial mode in device manager (I tried EDB cable and also installing all .drivers).
E) I tried QFIL but it complains about missing files.
I'm not sure what to do anymore. Everything has failed me.

You need to re-lock your bootloader before using flashall.bat

Revert to stock issues

Dear reader,
I'm stuck on the bootlogo and i can't seem to install a new Rom.
I've tried to flash 2 different boot / system.igm files using fastboot, without succes.
I can install the boot.img without error, but the system.img (extracted from the .exe files) fails with the error:
sending 'system' <957496>
FAILED <remote: 0000006>
RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.9_Radio_1.1204.103.14_release_256469_signed.exe
and RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_HTC_Europe_1.26.401.2_Radio_1.1204.90.13_release_251208_signed
Using the RUU is also not successful, is gives me error code 155 (Unknown).
I have no ROM's on my SD, so recovering it using CWM isnt an option.
Also, i can't seem to push anything from ADB (no devices found), while i have installed all the required drivers.
Tried erasing cache ofc, i dont think its a battery issue either (It's fully loaded), i've tried various recoveries.
Is there anyone out here who can assist me? It would be hugely appreciated!
Thank you in advance!
Boot into HBOOT, change to FASTBOOT, connect to PC, Run RUU
Should work...
Tried it, gives me error 155 (RUU 1.28)
RUU 1.26 can't make an USB connection.
Solved the issue, i had to relock the bootloader first before i could recover by RUU.

Do a Nandroid backup next time. Makes going back to stock as easy as it could possibly be.

is it possible that my internal storage to be wiped out completely using xFSTK

My Zenfone 2 got bricked without me doing anything to it. It happened when I tried to charge my phone as I normally would. The next thing I knew, I saw a hanging USB logo. All possible solution offered around the web failed to save it. Then I tried the guide offered in this forum. manage to get into fastboot but failed to flash the firmware using all the possible solution suggested. When I tried to install file using CWM and TWRP I also get the
E:/ unable to find partition.
E:/ unable to mount cache.
E:/ unable to data
etc...
when I tried to ADB sideload my device was immediately disconnected from my pc. One thing that I found out from TWRP is that my internal storage 0 mb.
So my question, is it possible that my internal storage to be wiped out completely when I first tried to unbrick my phone using xFSTK to get into fastboot?
If so, how can I recover from this problem? Since my device is already hard brick, I'm willing to tried any possible solution to get it back to life. but I'm gonna give it a try. Another concern I have at this moment, I used to get the USB hanging screen but now no longer.
How about yours phone? In facts, xfstk works on first partition only, which contains dnx, ifwi and fastboot, so it doesn't harm your phone anyway. I'm sure about that . If u can access fastboot, it's easier than you think. Just download "raw" firmware (.raw extension), then use Asus Flash Tool to flash that ".raw" firmware to your phone first. After that you can flash any other Rom u want like normal. Or open that ".raw" firmware with any archive manager like winrar, 7zip...,extract it to somewhere, go to extracted folder, u will see 2 .bat file, now either refer 2 files to flash by manually, or execute it in cmd directly.

LineageOS - "Soft brick" - no files

Hello,
I'm a bit lost, here is my problem:
I have an international LG G3, I switched to LineageOS from official ROM 10 days ago. Everything was working fine, until yesterday when at some point, whithout doing anything special, my phone froze as I hit the Home button.
It froze for quite some time, so I removed the battery and now I have the pleasure, each time that I start the phone to see the great LG logo that doesn't move...
My phone isn't root (didn't install the su addon) and though I can boot in TWRP recovery mode, I don't see any file and all my reboot options mention "No OS".
I tried to sideload lineage to flash the new version but it doesn't work, push neither (and I have no SD - it kept unmounting itself).
I tried to connect with LGUP to go stock, but I guess since it's not root, it isn't recognized, and I don't know how to root it as I can't access it.
So here I am, stuck, without much idea of what to do next, I would be thankful if someone knew how to fix this issue one way or the other!
EDIT: Any try to solve the issue failed as I get the same prompt : Failed to mount /xxxx, or : Unable to mount storage.
Thanks in advance!
I had the same situation like you. Your data got corrupted. There's no way to actually restore your files, at least I couldn't do that with help of my mates. All you need to do is eject your SDCard, wipe every partition and:
repeat all steps for /system, /data and /cache - select only one partition, click on Repair or Change File System and these click on Repair File System then Change File System to F2FS and immediately change it back to ext4 and Repair File System once again.
And then wipe every partition once again.
If you need more help, message me on telegram.

Hello and thanks for your message,
I tried your procedure but for each partition, I get a bunch of "Failed to mount", "Unable to wipe", "Unable to repair".
I don't care about the data, all I want is to have my phone running, I tried to "Format Data" within TWRP, doesn't work either.

have you tried restoring to Stock ROM using LG Flash Tool? as far as I know it resets all partitions so that might be the fix for you
please try once again with this TWRP: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/recovery-twrp-3-0-0-0-t3309475
maybe just try [Change File System] to ext4 again? It helped me with my data corruption

Yes, I tried with LG Flash Tool, it's the same as LGUP, in both case my phone isn't recognized (I can see my phone on my computer but it contains nothing).
I can't install this TWRP, first technique I can't find the file in my folders (though I could push it with adb), second i can't do "su".
(with the current TWRP - 3.1.1.1 - I can't change the file system)
if you have sdcard, you can put the file here and then flash recovery.img via recovery

I could now get adb to push the img on data and sdcard, but when I try to install I can't find any partition and the process fail as no partition is specified.
I did the push in recovery mode and could find the files, but when I reboot in recovery mode again, I can't find them anymore.

Thanks for your help,
I tried the 9008 method but it didn't work, I have now som "Kernel crash" error that I don't know how to fix and the the only thing I can do is to access some sort of Download mode (where my screen is black, not with "Firmware Update" written, so the LG Flash Tool doesn't recognize it to flash a rom).

Now I managed to flash something with this qualcomm utility (firmware files extracted from 30B KDZ, all other from 10 version were not responding) and I can have access to either:
- "Firmware Update" screen in DL mode, though I can't flash any stock ROM I found (I tried several DLL and TOT, I get "Model check fail" or some issue with the LAF: my guess is that it may be due to the fact that the recovery I managed to put is 30B and the the TOT I have is 10B so something doesn't work?);
- and on recovery mode I can access to Fastboot mode, but a not very efficient one as for some reason whenever I give a fastboot command it do much, the command run on the computer, then I get the output ". . ." in the command line, and the terminal stay in this state doing nothing...

You probably missed some steps, with flashing all the partitions, you must flash them in given order, and you must use the same kdz, 10e...try it again from scratch.
Mine g3 is still fully functional, so it's worth a try.
yeah, my phone did fully recover too. where you did you get your stock files? maybe you downloaded wrong files? I mean they're corrupted or something

[Solved] Flashing stock without bootloader lock and without losing apps

Hi,
I made some mistake when trying to get the Oreo soak to flash. I flashed back the stock boot.img (since the backup made by Magisk caused some error) and WiFi wasn't working. It showed to be disabled woke searching for WiFi without possibility to turn it on, so I tried to reflash the latest official ROM.
RSD lite can't find my device and all the manual methods either and in since error or include bootloader locking or going back from a custom ROM (and most likely wiping /data for compatibility). I found one that separated out a few files that could wile internal storage but it would be stuck on that back/white Motorola logo (the one you get unlocking bootloader and hiding the warning). A different one wanted to flash that gpt file but that gave me an error in terminal.
I was able to get everything running by restoring boot image and something else from TWRP, the only thing remaining is that when I bootup/reboot my phone it automatically boots into fastboot so I have to hit the power button on,"start", which is a bit annoying.
But also for the future: is there any simple way to flash from the .xml.zip files like with Googles image files or Samsung's .tar.md5 through ODIN or something like that? Or at least a working manual method not including bootloader lock or loosing any data?
It seems like I've found a working manual myself that includes creating a bat file and explains what you have to do to either keep or whipe data. Don't know what it's doing that much different, I just know that it doesn't give me any (real) errors.

Xiaomi Mi 10T keeps booting into fastboot

Hello guys, I recently formatted data on my phone to fix a bootloop I had. After fixing everything, SIM card and wifi was not working, I downloaded the Official Stock ROM of my phone and flashed bluetooth, modem, dsp and dtbo. The original plan was to run "flash_all_except_storage.bat" but that kept throwing errors. After I flashed those things I booted successfully and unlocked my phone. Problem is Wifi still doesn't work. So once again got into fastboot, tried running "flash_all_except_storage.bat", once again it threw an error, so I restarted my phone and ever since I can't boot into system. Whenever I restart it goes straight into fastboot, Power off and on again goes to fastboot, I can boot into TWRP, rebooting from there still goes into fastboot mode. I fix a problem and 2 more take it's place, I really need your help here.
Thanks a lot !
Edit:
Fix Attempt 1 (FAILED): I tried formating data through TWRP as I read online, it did not work
Attempt 2 (FAILED): Used
Code:
fastboot continue
and got this error:
Code:
Resuming boot FAILED (remote: 'Failed to load image from partition: No Media')
fastboot: error: Command failed
Attempt 3 (HALF FIX): After some digging I realized after a failed attempt to run "flash_all_except_storage.bat", the boot was erased. I tried flashing only the boot.img and the phone booted up with the wifi working as well. Problem is after a reboot I go back into fastboot and I have to flash boot.img again to boot into system.

Maybe is some motherboard issues?
I don't believe so. The problem I originally had was that after a restart the phone was booting into fastboot. But if I didn't restart the phone was working fine, cellular, wifi google services everything. So in order to fix that I flashed the full stock rom and that's how I ended up in the restart loop in the first place.

If no maybe you should reflash whole phone, fastboot, recovery, all, using edl ig.... I don't have this phone or any Snapdragon phone, so I don't really know....
Yeah I did, I used the flash_all.bat that comes with the ROM file and pretty much replaced everything. I tried to run it a couple of times and it failed mostly but I was able to run it twice I think (without changing anything, just running it again and again at some point it worked)

I really don't know, after running flash_all the second time now my phone is stuck in a restart loop. Shows the MI logo and restarts. I can manually boot to recovery or fastboot but if I leave it on it's own it keeps turning on and off

So where u downloaded the fastboot rom, there is a recovery rom too :
Xiaomi Firmware Updater
The ultimate script that provides firmware packages for Xiaomi devices.
xiaomifirmwareupdater.com
Be sure u download the recovery rom not fastboot.
Btw use your miui version u had
Tho I'm not 100% sure if you flashed the fastboot rom correctly, did u :
1. Open MiFlashTool : download the tool from here if you don't have it ---> https://xiaomiflashtool.com/
2. Select your rom ( make sure your path to the rom isn't long and the folder/folders don't have long names )
3. Connect your phone
4. Click Refresh ( to make your device appear)
5. And click flash
I didn't do it with MiFlashTool because it kept throwing errors at me whenever I launched it so I tried the flash_all.bat batch file that runs cmd commands and flashes everything. the ROM I installed was the fastboot version. The official website on the recovery ROM stated that "This page shows a single update only" so I assumed it's just an update and not the full ROM. I was also told I should use the fastboot variant in the above mentioned thread

flashing miui_APOLLOEEAGlobal_V12.5.4.0.RJDEUXM_451a2324af_11.0.zip from stock recovery is good idea, you can do this from MicroSD card to circumvent any usb issues you are obviously facing on fastboot.

This error is normal since you are not re-locking the bootloader.
If some functions are inoperative.
Try to flash the same rom (fastboot) that you had when you bought the phone, probably an A11.
Use clean all(flash_all.bat).
