@Arnova8G2 modded GCams are working fine on nougat & oreo 8.0 builds.. but not working on any build of oreo 8.1 even after enabling the camera2api.. please look into the matter when you get time!! tia

Issues- Front cam portrait mode captures green images and video recording doesn't work.
i think first he should look into the matter that latest GCams are not working on any 8.1 roms.. these video recording problem & front cam green portrait issues are common!!

@Arnova8G2 as reported by others, these are the issue in redmi 3s, front portrait captures greenish dark image and without portrait it captures colorless pictures, back camera is working fine with portrait and Normal hdr+. Also no latest version is working in land's 8.1 ROM, I think it's a fault of ROM maybe. But if you get time then check that also. I'm not sharing logs because it's already been shared by others.

Sorry bro bt this thread is for Redmi 3S or Land so better you post things related to respective device or you can always request under development section of your device.

@Arnova8G2 here is the camera 2 probe test results and QR code is for logcat, I have rooted my Lenovo p2a42 and add string to enable camera 2 api but Google camera rear cam portrait mode and hdr+ never works for us, it always force closes, in test hardware level is showing full and not level_3 how to get it to level_3 ? btw front camera works fine with hdr+ and portrait mode but rear cam always fails and force closes please do something you are our only hope please.

@Arnova8G2 is there anyway to solve the black filter in front cam portrait mode. I'm using redmi 3s prime. Pixel 2mod.

Pick any latest aosp based rom and install latest arnova gcam v6 build and you will get night mode with that.:good:
Below is screenshot of that on mcaosp ROM.
Download GCam_Pixel3Mod_1_build.6.1.013.apk
In nightmide viewfinder is black but it capture awesome night shots like original pixel .

The viewfinder works with https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/changelog263/ ... but sometimes the app crashes when switching to night sight and you have to reboot. But if it works it really works amazingly well. You do get a Hexagon failed warning but no issues with the output. Photo's look really cool.
edit : I'm on a ROS build which is basically MIUI
I am on MIUI 9.6.4 (Android 8.1) and using GCam_Pixel3Mod_1.1_build.6.1.013.apk (Arnova8G2, 2018-11-07) this APK..everything working good (video ,camera(front,back both including potrait). the only problem is when i am switching to night mode ,screen bacome green,but i'm able to capture images,and as usual pictures are good,hope this green view finder error wil fix soon..slow mo video not working

Anyone tried latest nhappyman camera patch on any G-cam 6.1.013 version,does it works?

Edit : If you switch night mode in front cam and than switch back to back cam than its coming to homescreen without error and still happening

Found new version of gcam 8.3 beta with working front camera hdr+ (hdr++ on front cam not taking photos but not crushing as previous versions).
You are welcome for testing, didn't found any bugs yet.
