It's not a question but more of a suggestion
Also, there's a similar question asked few threads before and the "devs" have already looked into it. Not only that, as mentioned by a user here, kernel v3 for ics is being ported to DHD which will hopefully bring camcorder.

There is a section called Xperia S development available. Go there you would find all the Custom ROMs are lined up. Search and read ROM descriptions and reviews from other users in respective ROM threads. You will get your answer.
And for Stock ROMs, there is a thread called Firmware compilation and it is in the General Section. It should be in the first page of that section. So go there and you will find all the Stock ROMs.

1. try to use the search function, its very easy to use. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1599303
2. try using the xzx2, by the way, custom rom is very relative, it depends upon your taste and preferences. i think all custom roms is battery friendly (correct me on this). just try to read about the custom roms you are aiming for. read about the comments and feedbacks by users who flashed it. it can help you a lot.

Good Day to you all!
As the thread title states, provided that I'm going to use the same Android version (4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4,...)is it possible that kernels can be installed across different ROMs?
I ask this because I'm planning to use the latest LX CM11 kernel on other 4.4.4 ROMs available in the development forums, the problem though is its modules and its overall compatibility with other ROMs.
Sorry I had to post this here because I still have 4 more posts to make before I'll be allowed to make posts on specific threads other than the Q&A section.
Thanks in advance!
Hello all,
I have looked alot in the index sections and read alot of the threads and CM website pages.
My question is somany asked in the XDA forum but I don't see a awnser or my device.
I have seen so many rom's that the phrase to many three to see the forest.
I'm looking for a stable kitkat 4.4.4 from CM. But as light as possible. I mean as close like the google rom as possible.

Hey man, for me the best AOSP rom I have used was the LiquidSmooth v3.2 rom which is +. 4.4.4 kitkat. Very smooth and stable. You can also try the slimkat 4.4.4 from neozone. Also very good.
But currently Im on stock touchwiz 4.4.2 with xposed installed.
Just got tired of all the small bugs in the aosp roms.
I just bought the phone and I'm on MIUI 13.0.6 and I get about 5 hours of screen time at 120hz, I wanted to know which of all the ROMs for the Poco F3 gives the longest battery life
Hi, and welcome to the forums! I suggest using the search function, as this question was discussed multiple times before.
In my experience if you're like me and want wifi + bluetooth, AOD and 120Hz on 24/7, then you won't get great battery backup no matter what you do.
I've tried a few AOSP based ROMs, battery was best with ArrowOS, but CrDroid is close and has more features, so that's what I use. Balaam kernel got me best results, but infiniR (comes packaged with CrDroid) is also good and gets more updates.
To answer your question of which ROM is best - the ultimate winner will always be a debloated stock MIUI ROM. So I would stay with rooted stock, look into debloating and underclocking with custom kernel manager. I recommend Franco Kernel manager for that + it helps you track your battery drain stats.
