I'll be visiting LG Bridge after work...
I dont have it :/
Yeah saw this too. I checked LG Bridge a few times yesterday and today and it is not available yet.
Yup, saw this and *tried* to jump on it... guess I try to get it at 0400 every day or so, or wait for someone who managed to get it to upload it somewhere else like last time!
Live now on Bridge
Yup it's live on LG Bridge. I'm updating as I'm writing this. Bridge tells me that the download is 2.83 GB.
The changelog mentions the Google security update and some improvements to ringtone/notification sound/Sound effects.
Update: The update through Bridge worked fine. Took about 10 minutes or so. My phone is now on the June 1, 2018 security patch level (and still Android 8.0.0). Haven't had time yet to look for noticeable changes.
My post from another thread early this morning:

T-Mobile is rolling out an updated OREO for V30 starting yesterday (June 27).
T-Mobile announces new LG V30 update
June 27, 2018
https://www.tmonews.com/2018/06/t-mobile-lg-v30-new-update/
One month after T-mobile restarted its Oreo update rollout, a new update has been released.
T-Mobile has announced an update for its LG V30 that bumps the device up to version H93220j. The update is still based on Android 8.0 and includes “various bug fixes and system improvements.”

So, NO it's not 'P" (I know someone is going to ask!) No V30 is going to get P until the Korean carrier variants get P.
It's just an update to make really sure you never get root! "They're getting too close!"
The auto brightness seems less terrible. It's at 27% vs the normal 3% in my morning bedroom.
Wow guys. June security patch from LG in the month of June?

But this is the full image KDZ, not the partial image OTA that rolled out two weeks ago.
I updated my TMO V30+ when notified, and ever since my phone has had issues waking from the fingerprint reader. Anyone else? I'd been using the original 8.0 release via LG Bridge with absolutely no issues.
Argh!
Mine got the update yesterday. I had the original release of the Oreo that got pulled (from Bridge), but since it had some bugs, I was glad to see this one finally showed up. Hopefully they did work out the issues from before. I would occasionally get the sound of Assistant activating, even if the phone was just sitting on a table in complete silence.
All H932 firmware files can be found at All-in-One OEM Firmware Stop, also if you are having to many issues with Oreo you can revert back to Nougat:silly:, Oreo and Nougat for the H932 are both ARB0, also have the latest LGup and LG Bridge downloads.
BUG ALERT! BUG ALERT! BUG ALERT! Some of you may already know this, there is a serious BUG in this H93220J update, at least for T-Mobile V30 phones, and possibly other carrier models too.
Bug symptoms happens to those who use messaging apps other than the baked-in one and the non-baked-in messaging app is set as the default messaging app. Some, but not all, incoming text messages get misdirected to the baked-in app even when it is not set as the default messaging app. Furthermore, the misdirected text messages can't be deleted and some texts from the past somehow come back to life on the list of messages even if they had been deleted long ago. This is a serious problem for many, including our office which has eight of these phones, all having this issue. By the way, Factory Reset does not resolve the issue.
If you use a third party app as your default, you might want to check the baked-in messaging app to see if you are experiencing this bug. If you are experiencing this bug please contact your carrier and report it, as that's the only way it will get addressed.
Thanks for reading!
Running Android messages on mine along with my wife's v30 on T-Mobile and we don't have any problems.
Try installing carrier Services from the play store. It integrates SMS at least with Android messages.
H93220k is ready for pull. Check your updates.

Hi All. I was wondering how many others have started getting the 5.0.2 update? (I was lazy and instead of taking screenshots... I just took some quick pics with my phone of the update info to post for anyone interested).
I received the update this evening and tried to find some information about the changes through an internet search. The update looks to be fairly minor and what I found says it should provide bug fixes and an update to Google Play services. Most of the info I've found discusses the update rolling out for the Moto 360, but I also found people who are reporting their LG G Watch R got the update too.
So far, the update is running smooth for me with no problems. I'm hoping it will continue to work well. I'm loving my Sony Smartwatch 3 and I'm glad to see that we got the update so quickly. :good: I just thought I'd check to see who else got the update and see how it's running for them.
Yes, I also got my update this morning, but am not sure what is new or updated...
Got it at Malaysia, about 3pm....
Waiting for the update...
What about this compass problem:

Dumb question time. Does the watch get the update via bluetooth or do you connect it to your PC via usb.
I am in Australia and my watch says it is up to date on 5.0.1 so I guess it is on it's way downunder sooner or later.
I'm just gettinh this update.

I received the update wirelessly without plugging it in to the computer (I'm guessing by bluetooth). The watch just gave a notification to swipe left to install the update. I read on one website where the watch should be charged to at least 80%... but I don't know if it has to be charged that that much to get the update. Im guessing that like other OTA'S, the update is being released in phases, so it's hard to say exactly when each person will get the update.

Wow... I didn't realize there was a problem with the compass since I don't really use it. I see where you also posted on the Sony forum to ask if the update fixes the problem. Hopefully someone will be able to respond quickly. If I get some time, I'll try to test it out.... but it will probably be a while.

No update showing on my watch here in Adelaide, that is weird.
It must have gotten blown in on the cyclone but typical Adelaide, backwards.
I haven't ether in U.S (florida)
Got the notification around 20 minutes ago here in Oregon, USA. It looks like the update was delivered "OTA" to the watch via BlueTooth in the background, as I did not have to sit there and watch a download progress meter. My first inclination that there was an update was when the watch gave me a notification saying "Update ready to be installed!". Of course I swiped left only to be told I need to charge up first
I've got my watch charging now, will install ASAP. Annoying that there is no official changelog or blog post explaining what is new / fixed, just speculation.

Not really that strange.. they send the updates out based on hardware batches... it has little to do with geographical locations..
for the record I haven't seen the update yet either, in Perth WA
I've got mine last night , here in italy, after messing up/ stressing my poor smartwatch 3 i reset the watch.. tried to install " new update " via Sony Pc companion.. than reset it again.. in the end the " poor " watch gave up and sent me " downloading update " ...
i didn't notice anything " new " so probably some fixes !

Updated last night. Phone got pretty hot. I was having a kind of increased battery drain since 5.0, but this seems to have taken care of it, as far as I can tell from just this morning.
To those who are experiencing the hotter than normal phones, are you using the supplied Fast Charger?
Mine is dead after charging overnight. When I picked it up this morning it was very hot, but couldn't get any response out of it. Taking it to a ATT Device Support Center to try and get a warranty replacement. This was the first time I had charged my phone after installing the update yesterday afternoon.
Maybe a chance the small update screwed with the fast charging somehow?
These updates are becoming more and more of a headache. I really wish they would stop just shoving these things out here before being throughly tested. And if they don't, at least they could unlock the bootloader. I'd take it from there.
I actually haven't had too much of an issue. Android system seems to be taking up less battery than before which is nice. Just to make sure I did a factory reset, cleared cache and installed everything fresh. So far battery life seems the same as before.
My battery life is better but won't know for sure until several days. I see android system taking way less %, actually android also.

I'm interested in seeing if the 'SIM or network error' is still happening after that update. I updated to the 5.0.1 and it broke forwarding, and thus my gear S...so I rolled back to kitkat last night and it's happy again.

Happened once when going from KK to Lollipop. It eventually came back a week later.
Should I or should I not? I heard it has problems with the LTE and stuff.. Is it true?
I haven't had any issues with neither lte signal nor battery life. cannot say about android pay as it is not available in India yet. You can always do a reset after the update and if still face issues then you can flash an older firmware.
I have it ... And i didnt notice a single issue with 4g/LTE.. i use LTE 70% of tthe time

It does break Android Pay. Says something about having to unroot your device. Mine is not rooted, it's 100% stock. Known issue.
I don't have any problems with 4G and whereever available I use it. On O2 in the UK.
I just noticed battery drain with the 3.2.4 version. In 1h up to 10% - 15% even in standby.

No issues for me with LTE or battery life; I'm in Toronto, Canada. I don't use Android Pay so I cannot comment.
Running OOS 3.2.4 with Ex Kernel, Root and Xposed.
Phone connected to WiFi overnight drain is 0.6% per hour.
i just received my brand new OP3 today and I updated to the latest 3.2.4 and its been working fine for me and again I don`t use android pay.

subjective question and I assume this thread was started because of the other posts you have read. To be honest there are a few of these and honestly as in most things in life its a crap shoot. People complain about things on here that have never happened to me. So in short update or not update the choice is all yours and asking in here will only confuse you more.
By the way guys the Android Pay issue was a Google thing kinda and the update to Android Pay fixed the ability to pay with your phone. That was done some time last week or earlier than that I believe.
I updated to 3.2.4 last night and Android Pay didn't work for me today. See my update below. It does work .
Edit >>> I think the issue may be on my side due to an updated debit card. Will confirm later whether Google Pay now works for me.
Update >> Yep. It was my card.. Android Pay works fine. And, I'm posting this on a solid LTE full-bar connection. Glad I took the plunge.

Well said. Every same model phone differs in behavior with firmware updates. And in every phone forum I have seen a million of the same threads for these same reasons.
Now on to the question:
It is a crapshoot, so the only way to find out is to install. If you don't like it, roll back an update. Oneplus had every firmware they have released on their site. On 3.5 my better isn't as good, but I like the feature set and looks, but had none of the problems others have had on 3.2.4.

Any ideas? I don't have any app-killing apps installed.
Thanks.
I personally have no problems with it, battery and reception is great. Got the phone 4 days ago, updated right out of the box then flashed superSU and Xposed.

Indeed. Atleast with Spotify and Soundcloud.
With Spotify, it'll stop after a song. Once the device is unlocked, the next song will immediately begin playing automatically.
With Soundcloud, it'll just completely stop mid-song.
Like I mentioned, I don't have any battery-saving apps installed. Battery saver mode is disabled. Restricted background data is disabled both globally and in app permissions. Really strange...

Hate to hijack the thread, but this is as good a place as any to ask this really simple question of mine:
How do I update to the latest July patch if I'm still on stock May, but rooted with Magisk & Xposed enabled? I'm assuming I can just flash the full factory image zip with fastboot (disabling -w to avoid wipe) and just making sure to remove Magisk/Xposed before hand.
