My device is charging at maximum 400ma
Any help?
Did you try using difference charger or adapter. It nothing is helping flash the phone again if this also is unable to solve the issue i am sorry to say but you'll have to check your voltage regulator.. it might br burnt

hello.
i have arhd 3.3, 12.41 radio.
i put my phone into wall socket last night at 23 30 and this morning at 5:30 phone was still charging at 73%. at 6 30 it was at 83%. then i switched it off and back on, pluged the charger in, and the led went green in like 2 minutes.
what's this? i have the phone for 3 days now. does it take that long to charge or is it a rom problem? i am using the original charger.
looks like a rom problem. Best way to know will be trying different roms.
dont know if it is a rom problem. i think is a radio problem.
install current widget and see what the input milli ampage is. This should give you an idea of if your having a charging issue. Also when you have charged to true 100% (Not when the LED goes green but when current widget says you are no longer receiving a current (0 Mah)) then reboot to recovery and wipe the battery statistics.
I can't see the radio giving you an issue on charging, unless it was using almost more juice than you are putting in. The only time I have ever seen that behaviour is when using a USB charging cable and navigation at the same time.
Hope this helps.
i am using the charger that came with the device that uses indeed an usb cable connected to it.

I meant a USB only (not original) charger. As the charger supplied is actually a wall charger and is rated to supply the device with more "juice" than a standard USB socket (i think are rated for 1mah charging??)
The scenario I am using is when you use a phone for navigating and have it plugged into a 12v socket in a car using a USB adapter which will only give the lowest permitted power rating.
so......i think i have a problem.
when i plug the phone into the wall socket it says charging(usb)
when i plug it in laptop usb using the cable the same charging(usb).
wasn't it supposed to say charging(ac)?

Not sure about that, but even so my DHD will charge from flat in less time than yours was plugged in, how warm / cold was the room you had the phone charging in? Possibly it's getting too hot whilst charging which would lead to the phone reducing the charge rate?
now it;s on charge from about 30 min. it's not even warm. the battery is reported to have 27*
You might be having a damaged battery try replacing it with a new one.
the phone is new.
could it be because of setcpu 230-1228?

Yes I think it's supposed to say charging AC. Try cleaning the usb connectors thoroughly.
Yeh being informed that it is chargng over USB when in the well is definitely wrong. I suggest trying to get another cable or something like a newer style blackberry charger.

When charging my dhd from laptop, the touchscreen is just not working properly. It is like it is calibrated badly. Please help! Will give thanks to useful comments. Thx
I do understand what you meant. The touchscreen goes wild when charging right? That is surely caused by faulty cable or irregular voltage provided by the laptop. Try changing the cable or charge it into the wall socket.

thats exactly what Im trying to say... it is a fine new cable I thin. it is like 3 months old. I think it is because of the laptop cos charging on the wall using that cable is fine but is there any solution to this problem?
thx for the reply!
Hey guys I have a question. I believe that I am dealing with an input voltage drop with my USB cable that I use to charge. I tried with another cable and it seems to work fine but with the current cable I use it won't charge the battery. What can cause this to happen? Could it be a faulty battery? (Sorry if I sounds really stupid asking this question)

USB provides much lower power than the wall socket. Max, on USB 2.0 is 500mA I think so therefor it'll always charge slower.
Of course there are exceptions like if you have USB 3.0 or so.
Now if you already knew that and want to really know if your experiencing a voltage drop, download a voltage monitor, like battstat and see if the wires actually do differ in voltage output.
Hi all,
Long time lurker, first time poster here. I have searched, but the few threads I could find went cold a while ago with no definitive answer.
Does anyone know of a cradle / stand / dock charger that will utilise the full 2amp potential of my cable when charging?
When charging direct from the plug and cable, Battery Monitor app shows just shy of +1900mA (estimated, but good enough for me). When I connect the same cable to either of my two stands the app gives readings of 500mA - 700mA.
I thought the dock was just a dumb extention of the cable, and did not expect it to throttle the charge rate. Admittedly both stands are relatively cheap from Amazon, but both are 'designed for the Note 2' so would have thought the fast charging would have been a key feature..
Has anyone run into this problem? Anyone found a solution? Or am I just way too impatient?
Cheers!
You need to install a kernel which supports it like Perseus ot redpill.

I'm currently using Note2Core EX v3.06. I guess it doesn't support 2A docks, but it does 2A charging cables. Can the phone tell the difference between the two? I was not aware.
Thanks
I should clarify I am only talking about charging from the mains. The cable alone gets 2A charging rates, but add any charging stand to the equation and I get just over a quarter of the speed I normally would.
If charging stand is considered usb then it would be normal

Phone shows charging over USB instead of AC charger....
It will work fine for a few days...then revert to this...before charging normally
I'm losing battery power while it is charging take forever to charge.. When it is working fine I'll charge in about 2 hours. Strange part is it goes back and forth
Shows low amps using ampere app when problem persists. With phone off charges like it normally would
It is not the cable or charger. I have tried a few
Is this a faulty charging port or battery issue? Confused at this point
It should display AC charger not USB charging with a AC charger
BTW I'm not holding USB cable on weird angles trying to charge it
USB port issue.
Try different usb cable

How sure are you about this? Had technician check it today said it is not the port or I wouldn't be ablle to charge at all

If anyone has had similar problem or has knowledge please share
Do not want to solder a new charging port for no reason
Thanks for the help *sarcasm*
Fixed it myself
