Stock or similar screenshot app - Lenovo P2 Questions & Answers

Hi i recently moved to lineage official 14.1 on my p2a42 lenovo p2..
The rom is very smooth and I am very very happy... However I miss the screenshot app and screenshot quick toggle in stock.. Is there any mod or similar app which can help With that?
I've found that the volume down and power button helps me get the screenshot but would. Have liked the long screenshot option and a quick toggle in nav bar...

Can someone help me out transforming this mod for the xoom to our a100?

(read; "Can a dev take this idea and make somting of it?")
(edit: If you download the file for the xoom, there is a txt file with al code that was changed.)

i wish I could help because I am holding off updating until there is a way to hide the bar. I can't stand that bar.
+1
+1 For me.
i'm interested to ....
is there a way to set the home button to toggle (hide/unhide) the statusbar? it would be nice to just press the home button and hide/unhide the statusbar.
That would be a great mod!

maybe our developers in xda can try working on this. it would be a big help to get fullscreen when we want to by just simply pressing the home button.
now that we have root the old method should be doable?

I tried the old method... but no luck. (hide honey bar, gesture control lite)
nothing is working..
Update's regarding this topic?
GestureControl Lite root works in ICS.

Hiding the nav bar with power menu / gestures.

Does anyone know if it's possible to hide or show the navigation bar on demand? I'm running bugless beast nightly.
I found another thread, flashed the zip, got soft bricked. Anyone know of an app or another way to do it?

AOKP if you're willing to change ROM's.
yes, aokp, slim ics, foxhound(theoretically all the roms sharing aokp settings) will do the job. they allow u to control or hide nav bar in power button menu.

Awesome. Thanks guys... I'll change up and give it a shot.

Power Control Widget for Rooted Nexus 4??

I just rooted my Nexus 4 and I am looking for a power control widget to place at the top of my pull down notification menu so that I can access various toggles quickly and easily. I have found a few apps on the Play Store such as "Power Toggles" and "Notification Toggles". The problem with these apps (and I know I'm being very picky) is their notification icon always shows on the notification panel. You can make it transparent but then there is just an empty space there.
Does anyone know of a similar app that would work on a rooted device and give me the toggles without the notification icon always being present? Any support would be greatly appreciated, as I am new to the world or rooting. Thanks!
Flash a ROM with the feature. And this really goes in Q&A not Themes & Apps

With power controls theres a setting near the one that makes it transparant. Its called something like pin or something like that.
Its just above or below te transparant setting.
Good luck and cheers

I do see the option to mane the notification position "Not pinned & no icon" but the problem with that is it moved the power widget down from the top. I want to keep it most important and keep it at the top of my notification list. I was hoping there may be a way to achieve this with a rooted phone without having to download a custom ROM.
It's so much easier with a custom rom. Also you can get a lot of other neat stuff.

You can use the xposed framework with gravity box module. With this you can add other tiles to quick settings. Sorry for my bad english.

Modifying setting.apk is possible. I believe that is what the author wants. It would be perfect for a change 50% transparency.

Install LMT launcher where you can set a gesture or a long press or just configure for a screenshot! Try some apps like gesture control!
I use Ultimate Screenshot, it has a bunch of options.

In the AICP ROM, you can add a tile to the Quick Settings. This is an excellent CM-based ROM, so this feature may be available in other CM ROMS as well.
In AICP, it's under Settings/Personalization/Interface/Notification Drawer

Check out Smart Volume Control from the Play Store.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.directservices.SmartVolumeControl
This app has 30 widgets available that allow you to control your volume settings from in the app or a widget or an icon with one touch on the screen.
(This is what I have read about the app in its description).
Good luck and happy Play Store shopping.

Well, I'd suggest using your Google-Fu and searching for OnePlus 3 apps for volume control and widgets. I am actually using this exact app on 6.0.1 right now. It works well for me and the widgets are nice.
and now a word from our sponsors....
